Downloading right now... Haven't played FPS games is years, coming from the Battlefield 1 franchise on my old PS4 YEARS ago... This one looks pretty damn cool
I can't believe you would actually come back and replay this game, I literally was thinking to myself how shame it would be if you would quit forever and waste all your raw blindfolded knowledge from your last playthrough. Was happy to see you play it again tho, because you're actually the only youtuber who'd play the game more seriously while learning new things.
This game is so addictive. Spend 4-6 hrs playing just to lose it all because of Deerclops, or the Heat of summer etc... ONLY to learn that it makes you want to TRY, TRY AGAIN! Props to the developers. This is a damn well made game.
Ive had the game for the close to a decade and just went through a few seasons bc I was bored. The vulnerability and lack of resources from starting a summer base(even with a fully established base I can pick from) made survival in the summer cruel. I did it so my base wouldnt burn down and I had a touchstone. I got in a fight where my helmet broke and suddenly its summer, where the nearest supply to you to save your life is guarded by 3 pigmen guards and youre overheating. I had no flint or sticks in the chests of my new base bc I always had them on me. Meaning the only food I had depended on how fast I could get my flint and sticks from my old base so I could make a thermal stone
Yeah…. sure… half the things required for progression are beyond boring. try and try again for 6 hours to enjoy the awesome “combat” system consisting of walking backwards and then pressing F or running around the map again and again on your new playthroughs 😂
There was ground shaking on day29. That usually means a giant is like a screen away. Fun commentary and having a player do more than sit idle in base is always enjoyable to see.
oh nooo I recall the screen shake but I didn't think much of it because I didn't see anything unusual. I guess the giant spawned behind me? I'll definitely be scouting the area thoroughly next time I see the screen shake! And thanks for the kind words!
Two little tips. If you have the shipwrecked dlc you can actually go there with your ROG character if you make something called the seaworthy. The second tip is that by right-clicking on the rock lobsters with a rock will make them your friends and they are very strong. Great 100 days btw.
Same with hamlet dlc, except it's called a skyworthy(I think it's called that) however you can only go to one or the other dlc, also if you start in shipwreck you can go back to ROG using a seaworthy from shipwreck, same with the hamlet dlc
@@ArcAngle1117 yep, by making your RoG world hamlet compatible it's possible to get both the skyworthy and seaworthy. Get ready for that dystopian pork apocalypse when you use the skyworthy lmao
Webber's Skull is an item that you need to bury to unlock a new character, just go to a grave, dig up and then put the skull there. The frogs literally rain sometimes, it's a good idea to get far away from your base when they start to rain. Pan's flute put mobs to sleep. Glummer only appear on full moons and can become a "follower" but is good to leave him in your base. You can use cacti to recover sanity too and a thermal stone can be put in the ice box to freeze and then cool you down
Probably one of my favorite series on don't starve in a long time. Just unfiltered new player experience. Watching you figure stuff out on your own and tackling new problems is really entertaining. Can't wait for another don't starve video
The moment I saw those birchnut trees green I said out loud "Oh no.... you spawned in spring!". Oh boy, summer is going to be a blast to watch XD. Also, cook green caps to get sanity back. With a few of them (cooked) you can get your sanity back in no time. They come out at dusk.
Don't Starve is such a nice game to watch you play and I can't wait for if there'll be a 200 days in this. I think seeing a 100 days of Oxygen Not Included would be fun to watch you deal with all of the troubles that pop up while playing the game, with a lot of trial and error.
Yeeees, I absolutely cannot wait to watch your shenanigans in Reign of Giants. If you still can't get enough of the Don't Starve experience (I know I can't get enough of you playing it!) then Don't Starve Together is an absolute blast to play solo too, it has a TON of end game content to explore once surviving becomes trivial.
Your voice on the live audio clips are like butter. It brings me soothing peace. Also your editing style isn’t too intense unlike other 100 days tubers. So thank you.
You got really unlucky with the Spring start. Rain and summer heat are really annoying without the right tools. Also, Pierogis are the best food! Great video!
Best sanity restoring item early game is cooking green mushrooms, so it hurt to see you complain about how to restore sanity but walk in a forest with lots of green mushrooms around you haha. It does -1 HP to you but that's fine because meatballs heal for +3, and restore 15 sanity. Also, inventing new recipes restores 15 sanity as well, but the downside with Wickerbottom is that she already knows a lot of basic recipes so you don't get sanity for those recipes. Option 2 is to find any of the two cactus biomes and pick cactus. They deal 3 HP each time you pick them, but you can craft a log suit and turn it into 1 HP. Since pig skin is rare early, it's not worth wearing a football helmet for it. Cooked cactus heal you for 1 HP and restore 15 sanity. Wicker really wants to base in or near any of the two desert biomes for this reason. Alternatively you base near the swamp biome in order to access reed easily for her books. If you can farm silk reliably, crafting a top hat is the best early constant way to restore sanity (12 silk for a top hat), at least until you get a Tam o' Shanter. Also, I would honestly recommend for you to pick up DST and create a solo world over original DS unless your goal to play original DS is to actually get through the story, but seeing how you never fully put together Maxwell's portal and venture through it even in the first 100 days played, it seems you're more interested in the base building and surviving than the story mode. Many benefits to the original DS experience is that DST just has way more content for you to explore and do. OG DS is less about settling a base and more about progressing the main story like an actual roguelike. There is a mod for DST that scales enemies down to be like original DS, which is also great.
This is awesome bro 😂❤ you actually inspired to make a video like this! The amount of editing you have to do though😢 and the sheer size of footages you have on your PC, I dunno if ppl are aware of how extremely hard is to make such videos, not only that, but actually make them entertaining like you do
I like how you don't google everything and learn as you play, it's interesting to watch! Most dst youtubers I see are super cracked and know everything about the game, so its cool seeing someone explore and learn as they play, seeing you learn theres specific items to help with the heat and seeing you suspicious of the tentacles in the caves was really cool too Idk I just like seeing someone the same intermediate player level as me play the game and learn without just googling everything
Super awesome to see your adventures with Don't Starve continue! For Wickerbottom, your best source of quick sanity fixes early game comes from cooked green mushrooms. The uncooked versions will sharply drop your sanity though, so be careful not to right-click them by accident. Later, having a continuous source of small jerky's a good way to keep on top of sanity, as well as hunger and HP.
Floydson is also very right on Wigfrid SHE is broken in terms of like difficulty of the character she's the easiest to survive on Edit: bruhhhh I'm dying Pie Rogi 😭😭
You get the teeth and meat back if you just break the plant trap, then replant it. You get whatever it eats when you kill it. Its a great thing to place in a grass biome full of rabbit holes. You can loot them everyday for morsels. Then re"plant" the traps. Those are essential to pick up wherever you find them and bring them back to base for strategic placement.
Tip: honey is a great filler. Making several bee boxes will create honey all year around. Just don’t build them to close to your base and they go slow in the winter time. Great play through.
Don't Starve Together has all the Reign of Giants content/bosses as well as more characters - most of which are unlocked from the start, with their reworks. I would recommend it, since you can still play it solo, over continuing with base Don't Starve.
i'm so happy you decided to play this again! please play another 100 days. i was so excited to see another upload from you today and i appreciate all of your hard work. this was a blast to watch!
Woo! I’m enjoying this so much! I just picked up DS on switch so watching you learn at the same time I do is really fun, and useful! I haven’t ventured into Shipwrecked, or RoG yet, but maybe this will give me a lil push!
Oh my god yes! Love your uploads. Been spam watching a 100% playthrough of TOTK, but nearly done that now. Saves me doing the grind myself, can't wait for more. Thanks for the uploads!
Yes, I really would like to see you play more :) Maybe the Adventure mode, through Maxwell's door ? It's pretty much considered the only way to 'finish' the game. DST is another game if you're looking for more challenges, more giants etc... ( especially in the ruins, there are some insaaaane beasts in there). That said, you can still find the ruins in the DS you're playing, I hope you do manage to find them, though I won't spoil anything :)
Love watching your videos, a game that you might enjoy is potion permit, not as chaotic as some of the games you've played but there's a fun mix of exploration, farming, 'building' and fighting!!!
300 Days and a glorious megabase is indeed needed. SO few TH-camrs stick with this game past their first year (or even first season) because of the steep learning curve. Even fewer do so going in nearly blind. Kudos
my biger reson i stop playing was sanity 😅🤣that i kind got over walam with all the things to do. i think that why i like it when the have quests and tell you what to do slowly
YESSSSSSSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER ONE OF THESEE!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANOTHER DONT STARVE VID AND PLS MAKE MORE!! ❤❤ Also i think you'd enjoy dont starve together because in that game, there are more bosses and more content
29:24 there is a great mod called extra slots to deal with this problem, which gives you a different slot for armor and backpack, to be honest, I know it's not vanilla experience, but I only play Don't starve with that mod on, it makes the game 300% more enjoyable for me. Also here is a possible future video idea, trying Steam workshop characters, although I have to add, that most of them are kinda OP, but still there are some great ones.
It's so weird learning how many of the basegame DST features (like wetness, autumn, spring) are from Reign of Giants and not base DST. (Obviously the giants aren't basegame). I've been playing DST since 2016 so it's weird I didn't know that lol.
4:16 you can cook during the rain and the reason it made wet goop was because you cant have twigs in fist full of jam because theres something called limits witch limits the ingredients to cook meals
Don't Starve in a Nutshell DS: It's raining and you're soaked - absolutely tanking your sanity Player: Think I'll craft an umbrella DS: Immediately stops raining Great video as usual! ☺So glad I found your channel
Great watch! Loved your previous Don't Starve videos and was hoping you'd post more. Would be awesome to see you play Shipwrecked DLC. Also a tip to find the ruins, look for a muddy biome. You'll know you're heading in the right direction if you start to see lots of ponds and also lichen growing (blue plant), and then eventually you'll come across splumonkeys. Ruins will be nearby.
Webber's skull is an item that occasionally drop from spiders in R of G. To use it, you need to dig up a grave and place the skull in the empty grave. This will unlock Webber, the spider-child. He is, as far as I know, the only non-xp or dlc unlock in the game.
Here’s some tips, the pan flute within range, will make enemies sleep, useful for stopping dragonfly raging, and in midnight, you can find glimmer and his flower, holding his flower makes him follow you, glommer goves sanity.
I know I'm 2 months late, but for sanity glommer is good! You can pick glommers flower from its statue during full moon. Also the Walrus in winter can drop his tamoshantern which is great at recovering sanity! And btw WX is the most O.P character in rotg. He's the best in all 3 dlcs, particularly in hamlet. But yeah, just get early gears, level him up and enjoy crazy max stats. Also enjoy rarely cooking and being able to eat food just before it rots. And in the late game you can charge him up on command with the telelocator staff to enjoy double speed and light source for caves and ruins ;)
Flower picking is a bad idea for sanity. Cooked green and blue mushrooms restore sanity. Also taffy, which you can get from honey (3 honey and a stick in the crock pot). Bee's require flowers to make honey so you need to put a bunch of flowers near bee boxes. Also, butterflies spawn from flowers and eating their wings give you health. The hat you get from Mr. Walrus gives the highest sanity boost and it's also really warm.
a couple of info: - cooking cactus flesh on your firepit and eating it will restore a good chunk of sanity (15) and cacti grows in all seasons so that's a good source of sanity all year round. Also you shouldn't burn them, iirc they cannot be planted again. - beware of summer burning your base, as things can burst into flames from the heat ( i believe being away from your base for most of summer saved you in this run, but you need to build things to keep on top of that or you might lose chests and their content) - dont pick fireflies for fuel as they are none renewable, use the caves' lightbulbs instead because they grow back in a couple of days. - also don't pick flowers unless you make up for it by planting butterflies to regrow them, iirc flowers don't regrow automtaically. - if you break pig houses, the pigs who live there will not respawn anymore unless you build a new house. - if the eyes eat your loot (like what happened with the hounds teeth) killing the lureplant will give you everything the eyes ate. - the insane amount of frogs that appeared is called frog rain and it happens during spring only and it will rain anywhere the player is (not underground), you don't have to be near a pond.
Wigfred is OP. The skull unlocks the spider character webber. Hes OP too. Much more your playstyle. You can make an army of minions and sleep in a webnest.
Just wanted to say thank you for these videos - they are PERFECT for watching on my second screen while I work and it has 100% improved the experience. Cheers!
Thanks for the video ! Games downloaded because of you: ·All ..Don't starve ·Dredge ·Sun Haven ·Subnautica (+below zero , waiting for your video) ·Graveyard keeper ·Cult of the lamb You rock
Yeah, summer is a bitch lol. There's a reason Don't Starve Together removed the feature where you could randomly spawn during spring instead of autumn. (It's still possible, you just have to manually enable it in world gen settings)
I'm a huge don't starve fan so I'm glad to see you return to it. I won't tell you how to play cause that's the joy of the game. I'm assuming you're working your way through the game/dlcs I would really like seeing you play don't starve together. It's a lot bigger then all the other dlc/games and a lot harder. Also while being sanity is annoying it's not actually that dangerous the only negative effect is the monster's that spawn, but they are fairly easy to kite and you do need to kill them to get high tier weapons
You can eat the flower petals for a tiny bit of health too! Obviously there are way better things but flowers can be used for sanity and health! The petals do not restore hunger though. Loving all the videos on this! Your the best TH-camr that plays this game in my opinion!
As someone who had tried their best to freaking inhale the wiki of this game (all DLCs and multiplayer included), these videos are both a delight and terribly frustrating. But hey, the game is apparently intuitive enough for people to understand most mechanics without wiki diving, unlike FREAKING MINECRAFT.
9:35 I can't believe you just randomly found a pan flute. That is one of the best items in game. Play it and every mob on screen that can sleep will fall asleep. This sleep is deeper than usual sleep wherein you can walk near them without waking them. (If you attack them they alongside the same mob type will wake though.)
I doubt you'll read this but in case u didnt know, cooking cactus in the fire makes a food that provides a lot of sanity when eaten. Oh, and you can also kill the meatbulb (which is the plant that spawns eyeballs) to get whatever the eyes have eaten, if u dont do it quick tho, it despawns. PD: nice video, looking forward to more ds content ;).
If u go to the glommer statue at a full moon you can find yourself a friend, but be wary of the werepigs Also u can mine the statue for marble with a pickaxe
The wood quarter which exploded is one of some traps. There a few but the worst i want to warn you about is the Winter trap. If you random found a fridge dont open it! It will Start Winter immediately z
I was really craving some Don't Starve content and accidentally stumbled upon your channel. Really happy that I did, your videos are great :D I hope you'll enjoy all your DS experiences! :) btw I highly recommend Hamlet dlc ;)

300 Days and a glorious megabase is indeed needed.
SO few TH-camrs stick with this game past their first year (or even first season) because of the steep learning curve. Even fewer do so going in nearly blind.
Kudos
Next game to try.... Project Zomboid
my biger reson i stop playing was sanity 😅🤣that i kind got over walam with all the things to do. i think that why i like it when the have quests and tell you what to do slowly
Your really good at adapting to the game, what a great channel
7:20
bro did not know that there was green caps right there😂
It's always a good day when Floydson uploads!
37:38 I laughed way too hard. Love your videos and the game so please continue and maybe try to kill each boss or/and take a look at shipwrecked!
HOW DID YOU SURVIVE SRING WITHOUT GOING INSANE, BLIND NO LESS.
YOU MAD MAN
Incredible video, my friend. Now you absolutely have to do it in Shipwrecked 🏝
One of my favourite TH-camrs now, every upload is a must watch! Thanks for making such enjoyable content bud!!
Thank you so much, I just watched the 200 days and I was not expecting a continuation, I really appreciate your work good job.
Please do 200 days, I love watching you play this game
At 9:30 u found glommers statue.. i forget how u summon him but if u carry his flower he will follow u and will give a sanity boost.
I think it's during the full moon
Don't Starve in a Nutshell
DS: It's raining and you're soaked - absolutely tanking your sanity
Player: Think I'll craft an umbrella
DS: Immediately stops raining
Great video as usual!
Are you planning on playing punch club 2? I'm excited to play it! P.S love the content!
Walrus gives the highest sanity boost and it's also really warm.
a couple of info:
- cooking cactus flesh on your firepit and eating it will restore a good chunk of sanity (15) and cacti grows in all seasons so that's a good source of sanity all year round. Also you shouldn't burn them, iirc they cannot be planted again.
- beware of summer burning your base, as things can burst into flames from the heat ( i believe being away from your base for most of summer saved you in this run, but you need to build things to keep on top of that or you might lose chests and their content)
- dont pick fireflies for fuel as they are none renewable, use the caves' lightbulbs instead because they grow back in a couple of days.
- the insane amount of frogs that appeared is called frog rain and it happens during spring only and it will rain anywhere the player is (not underground), you don't have to be near a pond.
elite tips
Wigfred is OP. The skull unlocks the spider character webber. Hes OP too. Much more your playstyle. You can make an army of minions and sleep in a webnest.
Just wanted to say thank you for these videos - they are PERFECT for watching on my second screen while I work and it has 100% improved the experience. Cheers!
Thanks for the video !
Games downloaded because of you:
·All ..Don't starve
·Dredge
·Sun Haven
·Subnautica (+below zero , waiting for your video)
·Graveyard keeper
·Cult of the lamb
You rock
all great games!
I'm assuming you're working your way through the game/dlcs
I would really like seeing you play don't starve together.
Yes, you need to concur the ruins (they do exist, keep looking for that entrance) and defeat all four of the giants 💪🏻
I really hope that you make a 200 days episode. There's so much stuff that you haven't found.
9:35 I can't believe you just randomly found a pan flute. That is one of the best items in game. Play it and every mob on screen that can sleep will fall asleep. This sleep is deeper than usual sleep wherein you can walk near them without waking them. (If you attack them they alongside the same mob type will wake though.)
not random, there's a guaranteed pan flute on Glommer's statue
mining the statue will give you the blueprint to make pan flute
I doubt you'll read this but in case u didnt know, cooking cactus in the fire makes a food that provides a lot of sanity when eaten. Oh, and you can also kill the meatbulb (which is the plant that spawns eyeballs) to get whatever the eyes have eaten, if u dont do it quick tho, it despawns.
PD: nice video, looking forward to more ds content ;).
If u go to the glommer statue at a full moon you can find yourself a friend, but be wary of the werepigs
Also u can mine the statue for marble with a pickaxe
I love your videos so much, thank you for continuing to make awesome stuff!
Wtf 0 likes lol
Please never stop making these 😫 I’m obsessed!!!
The wood quarter which exploded is one of some traps. There a few but the worst i want to warn you about is the Winter trap. If you random found a fridge dont open it! It will Start Winter immediately z
Have you ever had played slime rancher? I’d love to see you play it!
Your videos are so entertaining! I would love to see your reaction to the Shipwrecked DLC or Don't starve together!
You Should play 100 days as webber and make a spider empire
I was really craving some Don't Starve content and accidentally stumbled upon your channel. Really happy that I did, your videos are great :D I hope you'll enjoy all your DS experiences! :) btw I highly recommend Hamlet dlc ;)
A 200 days video is a must at this point
