I am amazed at the “suggestions” that people leave in the comments. Cut you hair or tight line you eye lids-I think you look great. I appreciate this manageable list of skin care products with different price points. I am 68 and agree with everything you recommended especially sunscreen. I tell my younger friends about the benefits of daily sunscreen but most have not converted yet! Look forward to watching more of your videos.

5 skin care products that I’d bring on a deserted island are 3 serums, an eye cream, and a moisturizer.
I love “Maelove” products, so I use their vitamin C serum called Glow Maker along with their retinal serum called Moonlight. The third serum would either be a 14% glycolic acid that I love from “Alpha Skin Care” or the Hydrator serum from Maelove - I can’t decide, lol. My fave eye cream is a must-have: “Biossance” brand w squalane (or “First Aid Beauy eye cream w retinol). Lastly, I’d end with the “Fresh” brand face cream called Rose Deep Hydration. Great video!

I don't think that the fillers you had are diminish because fillers usually last 2 years or more. I am 63 too! and my skincare is similar to yours 😀 . Morning: Vitamin C ( Timeless) CoQ10 (Timeless) moustirizer and sunscreen Night: curology and moustirizer. I always had problems with my neck because the tretinoin some weeks I could apply without problem but suddenly started to get irritated finally 2 weeks ago I started Maelove moonlight every night and I don't have any issues at all.😊

I spoke to a plastic surgeon last week about his extensive experience with botox and fillers. He said the older a person it, the shorter the amount of time that the botox or fillers last.

@@gloryb-tv Hmmm this is the first time I heard that, my sister and I have been having botox for 16 years (we are 2 years apart) and ours last approximately 5 to 6 months. About the fillers I can assure you that the first time lasted 3 years and now ( the second time) it's been almost 2 years and still looking good! Angie from Hot & flashy got a testing kit to see what the PH levels are in a lot of Vitamin C serums in the market. The one that came out on top was Timeless for the correct balance. I use a lot of the Timeless products you mentioned. I have dry skin, so a few of the sunscreens that I can use & also looks good under makeup when I wear it is called R & R Mineral spf50 sunscreen & for beach days Elta MD UV Broad spectrum spf 44. both are tinted so I don't use foundation & looks great. Meanwhile, using the large Timeless 4 ounce (which they've told me they're going to stop using and go back to a 4 ounce dropper bottle), since the large Timeless can't be opened, I pump it about 50 times into the 1 ounce dropper bottle that has a small funnel in it - like these - amzn.to/3Xm4GCN

@@gloryb-tv oh yes, it's the Matrixyl 3000 that you mentioned as an alternative to a retinol. How does the Synthe 6 differ? The CoQ10 contains Matrixyl 3000, so I don't bother to use that separately.

The Synthe 6 description on their site reads, "Our Matrixyl S6 contains a 2% concentration of Matrixyl®️ Synthe’6®️, a powerful polypeptide that promotes collagen production. This polypeptide stimulates six major constituents of the skin matrix and dermal-epidermal junction (collagen I, II, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid, and lamin 5). Combined with Hyaluronic Acid for powerful hydration, this serum helps reverse the visible signs of aging and smooths out deep wrinkles and fine lines."

Thank you sharing what you use. You look great!
I'm 68. I can't use Retinol or Tretinoin, but I do use Medik8 Crystal Retinal 20 every night.
It is the strongest Retinaldehyde I've found. It doesn't bother my skin at all.
I've read that Avene sells a good Retinaldehyde too.
Retinaldehyde is only one conversion step away from Treninoin. Retinol is two steps away.
One TH-cam dermatologist explained that the Retinaldehyde releases slower and more evenly so it's less likely to burn my skin than Retinol or Trentinoin.

I'm looking for a more moisturizing day creme. My skin at 63 is so dry. If I use Vit C and don't use an oil like one of the Timeless ones it's too dry, but many day moisturizers are very light. Maybe in summer it will change but working indoors with air, I'm not sure. Now I use Timeless products, Elta MD sunscreen and olay at night with Curology. (I think after 4 years though Curology is at a standstill) I am stretching out delivery and using it every other day.

I'd love to know how your make up in this video would have looked if you'd have tight-lined your upper lash line. I'm burning with curiosity! A really dense navy blue waterproof gel liner, oh I'm so curious. I'm convinced it would look amazing on you and sneakily thicken your lash base without looking like you're wearing obvious eyeliner. The navy tint to the black would emphasise the clarity of your eyes, the whites appearing brighter. Your make up EXACTLY as you did it in this video (gorgeous) but with a dense tightline on just the upper lash line. Argh, it's all I could think of. You're so striking! 🤩

    • @gloryb-tv

Tightlining for me would turn out to be terrible looking within 30 minutes. My eyes rebel against tightlining with a lot of tearing and, alas, messed up makeup.

Yeah, I've already had cataract surgery and now I have a couple floaters in the left eye. Plus some allergies. So even though I wore contacts for years (prior to Lasik in 1999) and have no problem touching my eyes, getting into the lash line or at that skin edge of the upper lids just makes my eyes water and makeup to run or get washed away from tears quickly.

I also can’t do retinol. Every time I go back to it, it really has a bad effect. I would also recommend Oxygen Ceuticals which is a Korean brand. My dermatologist gave me a few things to try and I was amazed. I’m also 63 and will say genetics, water, sunscreen, sleep and nutrition is the most important think. I think what makes you look lots younger than your age are actually your bone structure and facial contour. By that I mean you dont have inverted triange face with jowls, no hooded eyelids. In contrary to common belief, these play much bigger role in how aging a person look, compared to skin texture.

Can you give any recommendations for vitamin C serum’s that are not derived from Corn? I have an anaphylactic reaction to corn. Unfortunately, most of vitamin C, serums are derived from corn along with the regular vitamin C itself.

@@MDougherty72747 Great question. I was given some SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum to try and I let it sit in the box for several weeks (I should have put the bottles in the refrigerator right away). When I finally opened one of them, it was really orange and had that smell. I contacted SkinCeuticals to ask about it. They replied to my email with the following:
"The variation in color of CE Ferulic can vary widely in color from batch to batch. This will not affect the efficacy of the product. It is normal for SkinCeuticals vitamin C products to darken. The formula will remain effective. Once opened, with daily application of 4-5 drops to face, neck, and chest, it is recommended to be used within 3-6 months after opening."
Meanwhile, I once bought a 4 ounce bottle of Timeless C serum (in that pump style bottle that I don't like), put it straight into the refrigerator when I received it, and opened it for the first time about 3 weeks later and it wasn't clear - more of an amber color. I sent an email to Timeless with a photo showing the color of the serum. They actually sent me a new 4 ounce bottle.
