I hate that you can't get a platinum or king ranch with a 5.0 v8 now...
Pickups are the new Rolls Royce.
It's a sweet truck but God the price tag.
Beautiful 😍
Definitely!
Beautiful truck
It sure is!
Ford is usually the king of configurability, mechanically and aesthetically. For '24 tho, they've really dropped the ball for me. If you opt for a crew cab with the 6.5' box, regardless of trim, you get ZERO appearance package options. All i want is a crew cab, 6.5' box, in darkened bronze metallic without any chrome... but Ford does not offer one.
I hear you, but all that configurability adds complexity and cost. When the base XLT starts at $50,000, and even a stripped-down work truck starts at almost $40,000...all that complexity adds up.
@@contact406 Typically I'd agree, but Ford sells so many hundreds of thousands of these trucks that thing like that are subsidized by the sheer volume in sales. That's why the F-150 has always been the king of configurability. That's also why they can make the 12" touchscreen and the digital gauge cluster standard on all models. Because they sell so many trucks, they don't have to make a killing on each and every single truck they sell.
It's just strange to live in a world where you can buy a Toyota Tundra with an extended cab and long box, but not an F-150. It seems like Ford is prioritizing value over configurability. Which is fine, but I'd argue that there is also value IN configurability, and Ford did it better than anyone. (And honestly, still does, just to a lesser level)
let's hope Ford can get HUGE quality issues sorted ... PowerBoost has been an embarrassment for them and nightmare for owners - sitting in shops for weeks
Lariat model for 74k
