It's sinful how underrated this band is. I mean, no one has a voice like Karyn Crisis, and she's an incredible songwriter. Josh Florian is an incredible drummer; it's too bad so many drummers had to come in and out of this amazing band. The guitarist here?! I mean, for fuck's sake! AND the bassist is equally impressive. So much talent, man. It's fucking shameful that they didn't make it further, and that so many people don't know about these guys!

i think she is totally underrated in the metal world. she is amazing live. i seen Crisis in 97 or so maybe 98 in okc opening for 7dust and coal chamber. she was a real sweetheart too, she roamed the crowd after their set and hung out with us all

She and they were awesome. Can't say too much for her newer material unfortunately, but yes criminally under rated especially as she was one of the first alongside Damad to be doing heavier music, and how trendy the whole "frontwoman" (and most just sound like men, which is impressive sure but still)thing is today. Plus her voice was totally unique and no one can beat her screams, male or female.
Saw Crisis live, never forget it! Awesome! I wish that i could see them again... Karyn, Afzaal! You were great!

I saw Crisis open for Voivod once, but it was after Snake left and Eric Forrest was the singer. It rocked nonetheless!!! Crisis was amazing...

Crisis and Hellbound were awesome fixtures of the NYC metal scene for quite a while. Miss those shows at CBGB. They packed the house every time.

I met her after a concert in michigan she is pretty wild crazy is fun.
I'm one of this band's guitar players. (The black dude.) The fact that the only videos on this channel are two Crisis videos (with more views than they have on any other channel INCLUDING MINE) and a video of mongooses having sex is FREAKING HILARIOUS. :)
I got to see them a bunch after the first Indy album but only once after Deathshead. I wish I'd gotten to see the band when you were there, you were a phenomenal addition

not all music is meant to be "pretty". If you want "pretty" go support britney spears drug addiction by buying her album. Candor is Courage! And Karyns vocals are strictly emotional and charging.
