- This is a gift I made and I thought others might like to see the process in timelapse form. I carved the design using a CNC router and filled it with epoxy

Are you located in the Indianapolis area?
Hi love your work but what sort of sandpaper are you using and what oil.
Thanks
How come the wood and epoxy dont "bleed" did you prep it before ?
Love it,
Is resin ok for outdoors
Not sure but did you just use a v carving bit to do the pockets ???
Looks like it
Roughing with a bigger bit would have been quicker
What kind of wood did you use? Looks great
Thank you! It's teak wood
What is your sanding and finishing technique?
I use an orbital sander starting with 40 grit sandpaper and incrementally work up to 200 grit. Then for the finishing I use odie's oil and buff it in
Did you use any other bit, or just the vbit.
Just the vbit. It took a bit longer, but it was worth it for the convenience of not having to do a two step carve
@@TechCreations did you just set a final depth,ro keep it from Ving to the bottom
@@derekd289 Yep! I set a max depth so once it hit that it just leveled out
Why do you sand it off like that? Why not just use a flattening file design and shave 0.3 mm from the whole piece?
