I ordered a 2.8ltr 76 a few weeks ago and Toyota have updated me to say it will be ready at the end of the month. I can't wait for it, I've had a lot of mates question me 'why?' and iv'e explained my case but honestly they're not the ones driving it and i believe with a nice bulbar, some driving lights and an aerial it'll fit in with every other fourbie on the roads
Congrats mate! That's epic, you didn't have to wait long at all. Yeah they'll be great im keen as mustard for them! I agree, they are going to look like a fantastic 4wd imo
They said the same to me but I asked for a Jan build to make it a '24.
@@markh6676 I had considered doing the same, and with the extra couple months it will give some companies time to release model specific accessories, but it was too tempting in the dealership to agree to a 4 week wait rather then 3 month
I recon they will be good fronts a bit ugly but that can be fixed by adding a nice bar cheaper on fuel than the 1vd anyway
Congrats mate what is the drive away price for 76?
🙌💯
Looked at a new Landcruiser 79 today.
The sheet metal of the front panels look thin.
Clip that holds the support for the bonnet looks like it will break pretty easy.
No room for a second battery under the bonnet.
The model it’s replacing looks like it’s built better.
Yeah mate I noticed those things aswell yesterday, I'll have a vid up today running through it all, cheers
brakes have been upgraded on the 4cyl, according to Multidrive, they need to recomply for gvm upgrades, hopefully this also means a handbrake that works!
Okay awesome mate love hearing new info, so no brake upgrade on the v8?
No, just the 4cyl they said. I have a 4cyl coming, Jan build.
Okay, I guess the 4 cyl was always going to use a different brake system to the v8, never thought about it though. What did you order? Did you wait long?
@@OutbackOffroadNT single cab, ordered 2 months ago and was told a Dec build but pushed it out to Jan.
Congrats mate, awesome, mines here this month 😁
Hey mate. I’ve got a 2015 vdj79 single cab. I honestly just wait till ARB/other companies start coming out with bullbars. Save ya money for an aftermarket one I reckon. Not a fan of the new look but hey, if people like it then that’s upto them. Enjoy the new vehicle mate 🍺
Yeah fair call mate, it's a little hard for me as I've gotta head bush in it straight away for work, as soon as I get the rig she'll be in the scrub. So I need protection, last 3 rigs I've had I've hit roos and I'd hate to in a brand new vehicle...
@@OutbackOffroadNT na mate. Totally understand. I’m in Cloncurry so I get what you mean. Gotta have a that protection for them and the big bulls 😅
Yeah bloody oath, haha gee you must hit a fair wack of roos across that way hey? Yeah I don't ever want to hit a bull! How do you like your Cruiser? I had an 08 single cab loved it
Question is...does it come with an option for a V8 still??
Like I mentioned In the vid, the v8 is available and has been updated the same way, whether or not they will re open orders for the v8 in the near future is unknown at this stage though mate, thanks 👍
Don't think they've fixed the rear axle yet.
My understanding the rear diff housing hasn't been changed, no big deal in my opinion
PVS be spewing LED now and Toyota on grill and steering wheel updated 😂😂
Haha, yeah mate not wrong!
Front end looks was design at lego😂
