    IF this series comes to USA it will outsell all truck that is the very reason why they don't want this truck to come ashore in USA, American made trucks just can't compete

      That is probably very true, but I had heard American regulations on diesel engines as well as other things is another big reason why it will not be sold in the USA. Hence the 250 series is only sold as a petrol hi-brid in the USA, while here and other countries we get the diesel.

    Ford, GM and other US auto manufacturers will sue Toyota if this vehicle is sold in the USA, because it will sell more and they’re more reliable and durable.

      I think it has to do with regulations and safety. These things are notorious for easily fliping on hard turns. There are already videos of 2024 Models flipped to the side. th-cam.com/users/shortsl2c18qgWOm4?si=NrvIzmINZZnt7KDr

    I'll believe it when I see it. My understanding is that Toyota has no financial/safety incentive to change it and never will.

    • @Car-crazy
      @Car-crazy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You may correct. But I did speak to the Toyota engineer at the show and he assured me it had been fixed. Only way will be to measure the axle width once in showrooms to know for sure.

      @yanmak2363 no offense taken. I have been here 24 years..While my Japanese will never be perfect we both clearly understood each other. He clearly said that the axles had been corrected.
      I guess it comes down to whether or not he was telling the truth. In hindsight I probably should have measured the axels.

      I spoke to the engineer and he told me it had been fixed. Once it is released and in the show room, I will try and see if I can actually measure the axles to know for sure.

      @@Car-crazyit is obvious that they didn’t. The axle difference is about 5 cm each side. The body width is the same. So the fenders should be 5 cm wider. But the fenders are the same also :(

      @Car-crazy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are, you are correct, but electronic dials, I said electronic (not digital) there is a difference actually, sorry if it was confusing. They are also backlit even when lights are not on. I don't remember the old one being like that. That is why I said they are have been replaced by electronic ones. Electronic controlled analogue dials. Sorry maybe my explanation was not easy to understand.

    U say the seats comfortable but U can’t tell if a seats comfortable until U take it for a long drive & most that buy the 70 series change the seats my 2021 ford ranger was ok till my first long drive & its 💩 so had to install a gel pad & back support 🤔

    • @Car-crazy
      @Car-crazy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the feedback. I was simply saying how the seats felt to me at the show. And they felt comfortable. It may be true what you say, but obviously I could not take it for a test drive, but more often than not I can judge the seat comfort and how it will be by simply sitting on it for a minute or two and how well I fit in the seat. When I bought my BMW, I knew straight away the seats would not be comfortable for long journeys, no lumber support, too hard and I am too wide for the seats, and I was spot on, but then I didn't buy it for long journeys. Anything more than 100k's and I need a break. The first time I sat in the Prado I knew the seats would be good for long journeys, it has lumber support and is more than wide enough for me to comfortably fit the seat, the degree of padding is just right for me, and I was spot on. Sometimes it can be the suspension that is causing a less than satisfactory ride on longer journeys. Putting in different seats can help compensate for the poor ride caused by the suspension and handling. But yes not all seats are good for sure and what might be good one person may not suit another.

      Mate, I wonder if this is true for the Australian market, from what I have seen and been told the axle hasn't been changed? I've got a v8 79 series coming soon. Nice vid

    • @Car-crazy
      @Car-crazy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @OutbackOffroadNT Well, I would assume its the same for all markets, as I doubt they would change the axle size for the different markets. Once the actual cars are out, only then will we know for sure. But it was one of Toyota's engineers I spoke to, and he assured me it had been corrected. I have no reason to doubt what he said. Once the final production models are out, if I am able to, I will physically measure both the front and rear axels myself.

    • @OutbackOffroadNT
      @OutbackOffroadNT 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Car-crazy definitely interesting, even in the media release footage from Toyota here in Australia you can see the width hasn't changed, guess we'll have to wait and see.

    • @Car-crazy
      @Car-crazy  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OutbackOffroadNT yes. I have to say when I looked at it at the show, visually it did appear that the rear axles where the same as the front. But without measuring them its only a guess.
