I FINALLY got my splits with the help of this video! I’d been working on it for months and after doing this twice, it must have opened my hamstrings enough to get me there. Namaste, yogis!
A splendid practice. Extremely effective. Unfortunately these days I have severe contractures in my quadriceps, which is why I felt a bit of pain. I also suffer from foot cramps. despite all this I managed to reach the two front splits. A little easier with the left leg forward, but it doesn't matter. It is normal to have one part of the body more flexible and mobile than the other. Consider that I am a very rusty over forty year old. Thank you so much🙏 Namaste
been doing this video nearly everyday for 2 months now. My inflexible ass has gotten deeper than ever and while I haven’t gotten my splits yet, I am so thankful. The only problem is that my body has gotten so used to this that if I don’t do these kinds of stretches for more than 2 days, I hips/hamstrings get tight and it feels uncomfortable. I guess it’s good for my health to stretch like this now lol. Relieves tension haha
I honestly ain't a fan of stretches. But the way she talked just made me feel relaxed. M gonna definitely add her videos in my routines. I feel like m gonna finally build the habit of stretching.
this is the best split stretch video. It opens up your legs more than you think is even possible. After doing this once i definitely went down farther and with less pain, it's crazy.
I have been doing this for 2 months, twice a week. Cannot do a full split yet but from being absolutely stiff to the current progress is an achievement. This is better than other non-yoga ones that will just show only a few stretches before you attempt the split. Also, Ms. Fischer is a delight to watch. The movements are graceful and smooth. So unlike my fumbling attempts to move from one posture to another without tumbling over.
I've done this only 4 times and I've been able to get so low in such a short space of time. I often pause the video to spend longer in certain stretches!
I really recommend doing this video,i did this for 2 months and i finally have my full front splits on both legs. The videos that say you can get splits in 10 days are unrealistic and Ican say that through a lot of research online.I was completly unable to do the splits and not flexible at all and this video is the only video i did for two months(with maybe 1 or 2 days rest a week).
Omg!!!! This was incredible! I’ve been working on my splits, and can do them, but you just added a whole new level for me. Best. Split.Video.Ever. Thank you!! 😀😀😀
I have been following this video almost every single day for the past 2 months and I've become so much more flexible! I haven't gotten down to my split yet but I'm definitely a lot closer than I was 2 months ago!
I'm on Day 18 of following these stretches and I have noticed a tremendous difference. I'm not flexible at all and now I can put my hands under my feet and bend my elbows. I'm also bending my elbows while holding my feet as I sit and I was not able to do that before. I have a while to go till I finally get into a split but will keep you guys updated!
@@bethstones9957 no but I highly recommend getting yoga blocks, I didn't have them or anything after trying to do a split every day for about 20 days and it really halts progress but having support makes a huge difference to keep hips square and back straight when you go into your splits
i couldn't even touch my toes when i started stretching with this video, I knew I wouldn't necessarily get my splits quickly but wow has there been SUCH a different in my flexibility! this is maybe my 6th time doing this video and I can put my hands under my feet now
This video is INCREDIBLE! I’ve been doing a different stretching video every day for two weeks and have not noticed as much change as I did with doing this video ONCE!!
this is an amazing 15 min practice, i'm still far from my full splits but this is the closest i have ever come! and I've practiced with other videos online Thank you!
Perfect stretches for thursday morning! Stretches like these makes a big difference for your body and well being especially if you have a job where you sit down most of the time 🧘
I’ve watched many many videos on how to do splits. None have gotten me as close as I was to the bottom of the floor at the end of this video. Thanks so much!
What a wonderful, sweet and relaxing yoga class! Kylan, thank you very much for creating this class! AloYoga Team, I’m incredibly grateful to you for sharing lots of yoga and meditation classes with us! See you on the mat! Namaste😁🧘🏽♀️🙏
Such a great class. Very short and some very effective deep stretches. I only had my right splits and now I have my left one too thanks to this class 😊
Yeah so I've been doing your stretching for a while then got sick then restarted. I've gotten down an inch and a half in just a week and half and not doing it everyday. The closest I ever been to a split on my left side. I took dance when I was younger too. An inch and a half to go. Thank you .best stretch routine I've found
You should never feel pain when stretching. Don't push too hard. Uncomfortable is ok. Pain is bad. Seriously if you feel pain you could tear something.
I got my right splits all the way down for doing this once. On the other hand my left splits is pretty close to the ground.Thank you for this wonderful routine❤️
Gonna track my progress here! :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Week 0 [A] [B] [C] [D] [E] [F] Week 1 [G] [H] A: Monday, 06/01 :) hard to push myself on a mental level! Experiencing pain in the forehead part of my brain? B: Tuesday, 06/02 C: Wednesday, 06/03 less headache / pain. Feels good but challenging. D: Thursday, 06/04 headache sensation is still present. Left side is especially tight today. E: Friday, 06/05 no headache today. left side slightly tighter than right. Felt calm after. F: Saturday, 06/06 a little head pain. Didn't want to stretch but did anyways and now i feel great. G: Thursday, 06/11 Took a few days off as I have been feeling weak. After moving today, it felt really really good to stretch. Going to supplement w/ pigeon pose! I'm surprised that my flexibility feels like it is still progressing even though I took a few days off. :) H: Friday, 06/12 did this before sleep. Very tired, kind of half-assed it. Took it easy/gently. Glad I stretched a bit.
This is my favorite youtube practice. I often do a longer warming up routine myself and then switch on the video that I can easily follow with my eyes closed.
amazing flow! i am naturally quite flexible but split requires good initial warm up stretches. and this one is bomb! i can do my split without much pain at the end. Thank you
This is such a beautiful studio! It actually makes me want to do yoga! I followed through this 15min video, I don't know who is this teacher but she's pretty good! Hope to achieve my splits in a year's time. I'm intending to practise this yoga sequence everyday from now on!
Cardigan Babe my new years resolution was to get into my splits. I thought it would take a while so I did these stretches every day. Less than a month has passed and I’m in a full split on both sides! So it might not take that long for you to get into a split.
Stretching should never cause pain. If you feel pain in a stretch ease up or STOP. I cannot stress this enough you can tear muscle by pushing too hard.
Hi Giselle! Your progress is so inspiring! We are so glad that you made it into your first split! We think you'll love this other video on our channel: th-cam.com/video/-q_n7sFKLkQ/w-d-xo.html xo, alo
Hi Kylan, thank you so much for this efficient, sensible class. Love it! :) Works for me - practice this regularly now. By the way love your braids! :) Greetings form Munich, Germany
@Dessy Yorba-Clayton Because she talks and goes through the routine a bit too quickly sometimes. Plus, a longer stretch is only gonna help you get more flexible anyway...
My favourite routine, also no matter how many times I watch it, everything she says comes at the right time (e.g flex your foot more) so I push myself even more ☺️ also anyone else loves listening to her guidance, such a friendly voice!
HI Tony, we're so glad that you enjoyed this flow! We think you'll love this other video on our channel to grow your practice even more: th-cam.com/video/eIxlxsSUG9s/w-d-xo.html xo, alo
Great video - I really think these stretches will help me gets splits in 2018! Can you suggest any exercises to help moving my leg behind (as at 7:16) - I get a good stretch here but can't move leg back more than 90 degrees. Thanks.
Wow never knew how tight i am 😂 Great workout 😍 Day 1 done Edit 1 i did it again same day Wanna try to do it twice a day to help with my kicks . Thanks for this so much Day 2 . I dont even know how could day 2 be harder damn 😂😂😂but done💃
What Annie said. Practice it standing up in front of a large mirror. Stand sideways, rotate your hips forwards by engaging your core muscles and push your chest up while pulling your shoulders back down. Try to remain this posture throughout the day, it will feel natural after a while and decrease back pain.
HAs anyone with knee issues tried this? As someone with runner's knee, the 1-legged bent knee series scares me - it's either going to feel great, or I'll just hear a pop
does someone maybe have a modification for 7:25 ? is it more important to keep the leg on the floor at the side or can i put it a bit more in the front ?
oh my god.... i actually did the splits after doing this for once...i think if i continue doing this for a few times i'll do a better job but im so shocked that i can do it
I’ve been doing splits stretches for months and months now, and I’ve been getting closer and closer - but not I seem to have hit a standstill where I can’t get any closer to the ground no matter how much I stretch - has anyone got any tips for getting closer?
Make sure you are super warm by the end you would of cooled down if you do 10 star jumps and 10 squats and high knees you will be really warm try it see how you go!
I've been doing this everyday for about 3 weeks now and I can definitely see the improvements but unfortunately my split isn't improving at all. My back leg just won't push back any advice?
Alo yoga, we would love more free tutorials from kylan, I find it so hard to find yoga that I like, but this is just wonderful thank you

It's really helpful since I have really tight hamstrings. Thanks so much! :) 😊
So much closer to the ground after this practice. Felt really good, while still being challenging. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

OMG! I was sceptical at first but I almost did a split at the end! Love this video
The same!

Great for afterwork stretched! Especially for those of us who sit in front of a computer all day.
One of the best routines that I have seen in TH-cam. Really useful 🙏❤️
Totally worth it. I finally got my splits by doing this for 6 days
this workout is love. I adore her. I don't like to study the same lessons, but this is an exception.
Your stretches brought me closer to my splits than ever! Thank you!
Best stretching video I watched. It really helps me to get down to use all my potential!!

I must say, I haven’t finished yet and I can already see a substantial improvement. Thanks!
Great break from sitting in a desk chair! This really helps my lower back

Forward pull kills me everytime 😳
so hard and so good . Thank you!
AMAZING! Thank you ❤
thank you for this practical streches honey, you're amazing!
Pro tip: watch this at .75 speed! :P
@Dessy Yorba-Clayton Because she talks and goes through the routine a bit too quickly sometimes. Plus, a longer stretch is only gonna help you get more flexible anyway...
Wow. You are brilliant 👏 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
more videos like this, please! to improve flexibility: leg, hips, back... all that! thanks!
excited to try this thanks for sharing!
Good stretching. Thanks.
Amazing....can a beginner try this?
thanks for sharing this routine
amazing stretches !

That was new pain and numbness
And I love it
One of my favorite quick stretches ever. Whenever I'm lazy I go for this one cus it's 15 minutes but such a gem!

I wasn’t flexible at all, but I did this 2 days in a row, 3 times a day and I can do the split with both of my legs now 😯

5.4.22: working towards it. 💕
Wow never knew how tight i am 😂
Great workout 😍
Day 1 done
Edit 1 i did it again same day
Wanna try to do it twice a day to help with my kicks .
Thanks for this so much
Day 2 . I dont even know how could day 2 be harder damn 😂😂😂but done💃
Let's see if I can split today 😊
Ok I just did it again and went down more I'm like less than an inch away now!!
does anyone have tips on how to get a straighter back and not round it as much during the forward folds?
Think of folding for the hips (not from the lumbar spine) and try to extend your chest while looking forward 🙂
What Annie said. Practice it standing up in front of a large mirror. Stand sideways, rotate your hips forwards by engaging your core muscles and push your chest up while pulling your shoulders back down. What worked for me was thinking stomach to thigh instead of head to shin

Súper 💞💪💞🌹
How can she talk while she is doing this exercises?
Can someone explain me what is the name of the deeper hamstring stretche
does someone maybe have a modification for 7:25 ?
is it more important to keep the leg on the floor at the side or can i put it a bit more in the front ?
So how many months do I have to try this until the first real splits? 🙈😆
did you get it? how long?
oh my god.... i actually did the splits after doing this for once...i think if i continue doing this for a few times i'll do a better job but im so shocked that i can do it

if you are not wearing socks wear them! Also make sure you are super warm after stretching do a couple of star jumps squats etc should help?
I’ve been doing this for 3 weeks and I’m still not in a full split
It's alright flexibility is not soemthubg that happens very quickly, juts keep it up and drink lots of water
It won’t happen real quick but you’ll get it
