He's smart, sharp, confident, ambitious yet knows his limits. I can see why they liked him and why they called him investable. Sounds less like peter was investing in the business and more like he was investing into the guy himself
Peter is a wanker. My dad used to own a chauffer drive and had picked him up loads and all the drivers said the same thing that he is disrespectful, rude and gave off the vibe that he thought he was better than them no matter how successful someone is it doesnt make them better than the average guy on the street. You can see this guy has read Never Split the Difference. He is using the same tactics haha. Great negotiator, that's the type of person you want to work with. He did not back down and stayed polite, asked open-ended questions to tire Peter. It worked!
Great negotiating from both parties. A pleasure to watch a young entrepreneur not settle to rip himself off but still have the confidence in his product to know it has value. This is what this show is about. Here’s to a great success for both of them👍
Peter seems like the only sensible "Dragon" in the den. Everyone else gets pissed off and withdraw their money as soon as they don't accept their offers and start negotiating.
Touker and Deborah are sensible. Deborah hasn't got the funds to invest lots that's why she only does rarely. I've seen Peter pull out because of pride several times.
@@orangewarm1 tbf they probs don't want to compromise too often becuase these negotions are, obviously, filmed, so they don't want other people to push to hard because they've seen them give in previously
It made sense for Jenny to pull out. It was clear Peter was his preferred dragon, which is why he went into a tricky negotiation with him even though she asked for less equity in the business. I don't think she was pissed rather realised she wasn't going to get as good a deal as Peter so bowed out.
Max Wicked I beg to differ. Sensible is not the word. Peter is the most narcissist dragons. He is cunning and very manipulative. He uses these tactics all the time and they work. He is quite greedy too, he will always ask for 3 to 5 times equity, always. If he sees a threat then he will try to derail others by misleading them. Kudos for his success but I just can't stand extremely greedy manipulativeness
This is incredible! This guy knee he had something valuable, he knew he had interest, and he pressed on all the right points for negotiation. Incredible work, good on him!
Not surprised. They didn't ask him any questions really. I think the show's ratings might go up with more deals made and then behind the scenes the due diligence comes up with bad news.
Him and Peter will make a formidable force to be reckoned with. Good luck to them both. Entrepreneur had some excellent negotiation skills and very good nerves kept his cool with focus on the target and it was evident Jenny wasn't his target. Peter on the other hand just couldn't hold back. A match made in heaven.
Touker: "I know this area very well, it's over priced, the quality is mediocre, and you're gonna struggle BIG..." Peter : "I'm going to make you an offer " Peter beautifully shits all over Toukers opinion. And that's why Peter is the most equipped and well connect Dragon in there, and hes always the no#1 choice. Extremely shrewd business man.
That was my favourite negotiation in the den by far. It's ok for the dragons to say they will do this and that, but putting a proper verbal agreement in place first makes this guy is a rock star..
Good negotiator but he got lucky because let’s face it if peter was having a bad day he would tell the guy you are being very demanding and I do not like that I am out. He got lucky because peter was in a good mood.

This is by far my favourite dragon's den episode. Alex handled it so well and made Peter put his money where his mouth is... best negotiation on the show to date.
Perhaps because it is pure leather and that doesn't sit well with CSR, ESG etc., that Deborah is keen on. But since Peter invested perhaps they cut that part out.

This is quality, Peter Jones has finally met his match. Love this guy !
He's smart, sharp, confident, ambitious yet knows his limits. I can see why they liked him and why they called him investable. Sounds less like peter was investing in the business and more like he was investing into the guy himself
This
Man that was one intense negotiation despite knowing apart from the fact that Jenny literally was out the second he walked in the room.
I would love to see Peter Jones on the Canadian version of Dragons Den. The Canadian dragons would be completely taken aback by his shrewdness.
Peter is a wanker. My dad used to own a chauffer drive and had picked him up loads and all the drivers said the same thing that he is disrespectful, rude and gave off the vibe that he thought he was better than them no matter how successful someone is it doesnt make them better than the average guy on the street. The guy on the street could be a nicer person thats done way more for humanity
Next season Jenny will be replaced with a cardboard cutout of herself with a sign that says "I'm out"
Best comment gave me a right tickle
Loool . Thats a good one
With a cardboard cut-out business whom jenny declined.... probably
Kamuro Tetsu lol lol lol !!!!
😂😂😂😂
Jenny Campbell makes an offer and was ignored....quality tv
This guy is a real businessman and has the balls to negotiate. His confidence and negotiation skills were exemplary
You can see this guy has read Never Split the Difference. He is using the same tactics haha. Great negotiator, that's the type of person you want to work with. He did not back down and stayed polite, asked open-ended questions to tire Peter. It worked!
Jenny's mother : *gives birth to Jenny*
Jenny: I'm out
One of the best Jenny comments so far, hahahahaha
hahahaha
TH-cam: Original Comment
You: No
Made me chuckle haha 😂
Hahahha
Great negotiating from both parties. A pleasure to watch a young entrepreneur not settle to rip himself off but still have the confidence in his product to know it has value. This is what this show is about. Here’s to a great success for both of them👍
Jenny: Im going to make you an offer, and for that reason I'm out.
I'm out.
Lots of funny comments but this is the best
Jenny: Im in, but you haven't spoken to me in 30 seconds....so that basis, I'm out.
The entrepreneur really pushed it! Intense moment! Congrats on the deal!
They're obviously huge egos, but to their credit they do a decent enough job of remaining sensible and maintaining patience with deluded people
Max Wicked I beg to differ.
Hi I'm Jenny and you're not giving me enough attention, so for that reason, I'm out.
Big true
😭😭I can't read the comments anymore ffs it's too funny
For this reason, im out
To be fair he flat out ignored her haha. Not gonna lie though, I would do the same
C'mon Nigel you are also out
Out of the EU!
The minute Jenny said she would invest, I scrolled to the comments 😹
Me too🤣
@@truthispriceless1372 And me!
Wasn't dissapointed
Those bags look extremely good. And that entrepreneur is smart in negotiating and math.
Jenny: "I'm in, and therefore I'm out."
Who would have thought we finally stumble across a scenario where this actually happened!
Elevator doors open..
Jenny: For that reason, I am out
hahahahaha!
With negotiation skills like these, Alex is going places! 10/10
*phone calling*
Phone caller: "Hi Jenny are you at home?"
Jenny: No, I'm out.
This is incredible! This guy knee he had something valuable, he knew he had interest, and he pressed on all the right points for negotiation. Incredible work, good on him!
For those wondering, the deal broke down afterwards and the investment was never completed.
So the shows dragons won't make any deal with anyone?
Not surprised. They didn't ask him any questions really. I think the show's ratings might go up with more deals made and then behind the scenes the due diligence comes up with bad news.
@@CoolAce1 the pitches last hours. This is quite obviously edited
@@JW-db8bz For real? the whole thing makes no obvious cuts
True businessman not scared to negotiate and walks away with a deal good on him
That guy was on fire! He will be going places
I'm in awe!! If it wasn't successful I'd almost say he was argumentative.
Brilliant display.
Peter Jones was totally smitten with that guy!
Touker: "I know this area very well, it's over priced, the quality is mediocre, and you're gonna struggle BIG..."
Peter : "I'm going to make you an offer "
Peter beautifully shits all over Toukers opinion.
And that's why Peter is the most equipped and well connect Dragon in there, and hes always the no#1 choice. Extremely shrewd business man.
Because Touker has a habit of trashing the entrepreneur’s business so he can justify taking a larger stake when he makes an offer.
7:02 Jenney writing 'im out' In hieroglyphics
WTF is that, shorthand writing?
Peter makes this show 👀😂 love that guy
And Deborah
I respect Peter, but I fear Deborah. Give her a piece of paper and she'll be able to tell you which tree it came from.
Even in the bed Jenny is the one who pulls out.
Lol
Bro ... ! I laughed too hard at this! You sir / madame, are a genious!
Lol classic!
Nooooooooo why did you make me picture it 🤮
Legend
That was my favourite negotiation in the den by far. It's ok for the dragons to say they will do this and that, but putting a proper verbal agreement in place first makes this guy is a rock star..
First it was Donald Trump, then it's was Boris Johnson...and now Jenny makes an offer, wtf going on this world!
She never actually did an offer. It was a joke. Did you watch the video?
To be fair, they all have a common characteristic of wanting ‘out’ of things 😂
Good negotiator but he got lucky because let’s face it if peter was having a bad day he would tell the guy you are being very demanding and I do not like that I am out. He got lucky because peter was in a good mood.
Shahin KG Peter liked his chutzpah. That's why Peter set ground rules about their business relationship along with the offer.
I'd consider this the most educational episode i've come across so far in terms of business. I learned a LOT.
I wanted to invest too but the price is not stable
Investing in Bitcoin is the number one thing one should be doing right now, although there are lots of risks the best way to invest is through cryptocurrency and Forex.
There are also organizations that help maintain your interest and protect you from the unnecessary risk which you can't predict on your own.
But sir Richard is highly recommended
💯Legit
Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.
You invest in people not just an idea. When you see a spinning image of yourself infromt of you, thats when negotiating never ends and comes to a deal aha that was great peter loved it
Either Jenny's out, or she fails to get a deal. She really adds no value to this show
Sam 88 Exactly what I was thinking. I wouldn’t fancy her as an investor anyway. Really don’t think she compares to the others whatsoever.
Sam 88 comedy value
She does add value because that’ all we chat about in the comments haha
There’s a new series starting soon and Jenny’s been replaced
She adds meme value.
Jenny made an offer 🤯🤯
The best episode I've ever watched, by a clear mile.
Romanian smart guy ! I’m so proud of him ! Bravo și felicitări ! Ai fost cel mai bun in negociere in acest show !
Bravoooo
His nationality has nothing to do with the fact he’s smart. Otherwise all Romanians would be smart 💀
This is by far my favourite dragon's den episode. Alex handled it so well and made Peter put his money where his mouth is... best negotiation on the show to date.
Is it just me or was Deborah basically not there?
they never showed her declaring she was out! unless i somehow missed it...
Perhaps because it is pure leather and that doesn't sit well with CSR, ESG etc., that Deborah is keen on. But since Peter invested perhaps they cut that part out.
@@gemellotwo Probably because negotiation was so insane they had to edit it out for time purposes
She wasn't interested because the bag isn't biodegradable
This was probably the best negotiation that ever took place in the Den. Well done leather boy!
Jenny: I will make you an offer
Me: wait, - 10 seconds
I laughed harder than I should have 🤣🤣🤣
Lol
The smartest dude i have seen enter the den. His negotiation skills are top notch. Unfazed, had the bigger picture in mind. That speaks volumes. He won't fail in his line of business.
Gotta be one of the best DD clips I've seen to date. Good on him. The only thing that could have been better is if he told Jenny that she was out, no ones perfect though
The comments always rip Jenny for being out, but what about Touka? I've rarely seen him make a deal. And he was the first to go out today.
Well he makes offers and deals much more often than jenny
there is no point having Jenny there... the only time she makes an offer, and the guy doesn't even want to work with her... looool
Fair play to him. 1 of the best I've seen.
10:4 - 11:45 Yes Jenny, that's how negotiation works. From her expressions in that 65 second time frame you can tell that she has people who negotiate deals for her, as this more than normal technique is very common in the business world and shouldn't shock a millionaire business woman.
With such a confident, laid back but respectful demeanor, I'm ready to buy one of his leather convertibles.
