Thank you I works , lights are one yeyyyyy, but it won’t start , i need to see what’s wrong . In a women trying to fix it and was so satisfying seeing it light on !! I need my moped to get to work now I need to watch more videos. .
Mark, i have a brovo 50cc moped and when i got it it was allready hot wired because the key was lost, the starter was allready out of it and i would use a screw driver to start up, well it quit running one day and i come to the releazation i needed a new cdi boc so i got it one of them but the i noticed that on my starter where theres 5 wires coming out there was one loose so that would bring me to your video here because i was looking to bypass my key switch all together, sence its been wired before i was wondering if there was anything i should know extra about the wireing? thank you for your short but inlighting videoand i will let you know if i got started, and if not i would like to learn ferther from you please, I am a women but i allways do all the work on my vehicals and do know my way around a moped pretty good...lol.. p.s. pardon the spelling is so bad,,,lol Am going to go try it at daylight and will let you know,, Audra
Hey thanks for the video. The jumper did work BUT I DISCONNECTED IT, and now it doesn’t wanna power up. Could I have blown a fuse, I might have heard something buzz when I reconnected it in the wrong plug spot. Help?
It could be a fuse or it could be something else. Hook it up the correct way, get a 12 volt tester, and follow the wires to find out where the power interrupt is coming from. Hopefully it will be at a fuse. Sorry i couldnt give you a better answer
@@beqweefeus6075 thanks bud, yes it was a fuse. SOLD it as is and got an electric scooter. not as fast and range is not as good, but from A to B, not bad.
Basic color coding: Red = Power Black = Ground Green = Electrics (Usually connected to the red wire) Black and white wire = Kill switch (Connecting to the red wire should turn the engine off) Take a look at your manual before hooking up wires "blindly"
And where do u get those parts that you put on the end of each wire and where should u get that.. I'm so tired of not having the lights working and jumpstarting it.. I'm goi g yo get an ignition too but waiting to get paid

Man u don't have to hot wire shit man listen to me to get gas cap off just pri it off with to big screaw driveers ok an to start it all u need is a dam flat screaw drive an justs put it on key thang an line it up an turn until lights come on ok then u hold front break on it an it will start right up an all lights on it work. U don't have to cut nothing I just use a flat screaw drive to start mine. I got a taotao pony 50 scooter just use a dam flat screaw drive an it will all work. I do it alot an mine runs good do what I said it works
@marksamford8436 Don't listen to these asshat kids. Your video helps a lot. My son is disabled and because of that he lost his ignition key. I have a spare and sent him a copy but the damn place didn't make the key right and he got mad and frustrated and it broke off and is stuck in ignition..I'm 4 hours away and now I need something so he can get it out of the l parking lot because it's gonna get stolen I'm worried..
Finally.!!,someone who explained it in plain English,lost key and needed to move bike from front yard to rear,

Ok I did that and mines won’t cut on I even charged the battery and it’s still not working so any suggestions

On Chinese scooters the green is always a ground no matter what
maybe if your in Canada is the green wire ground. red/power, black/input, green/ground

You also need to connect green to green or else the spark plug wont work
For my scooter this was the only connection needed. I was able to start it with only this connection.

Does it turn over? If not it Could be your start button is bad, your wiring is bad, or several other issues could be wrong.

I have the same scooter what am I lining the screw driver up with on the ignition? Put it in the ignition or cover it with the screw driver?? Helppp
