This was a wonderful episode - your daughter is as beautiful as you are! I loved watching you both together talking about your vacation to Bali. You both looked like you were having as much fun talking about it as you did enjoying it! Thank you for sharing! Hugs from Texas!!
Oh that was fun. Alex is lovely and how nice her tattoo has so much meaning. You guys were busy and did all the highlights 💪🏻 we scooter it as the traffic is so hectic. Going to Ubud is so much quicker. I look crazy, long pants, long top and we take our own full face helmets, I get so hot! Been about 20 times I think. Booked for March next year (haven’t been for a ages) and for the first time flying during the day, yep those night flights are rough and I don’t sleep well anyway - like the princess and the pea I am. When my kids were young 12 and 14 we had 2 months there living near Canggu (before it got silly busy) with the locals, that was fun and scooters were our transport the whole time. Taught the kids too 😬 Thanks for sharing, glad you had fun 💕
Thanks so much Karen. You are a Bali expert! Flying during the day is perfect for a knitter! I am becoming more princess and the peaish as I get older. But then i think, it is high time I started taking better care of myself. xx
You rocked it Alex! I love the Pi Camisole on you. Tash, you always rock it. 😊 I loved hearing about your trip. I live in Canada and hear of people going to Bali once in a while but it’s like an epic/ once in a lifetime/ very special trip. Definitely on my bucket list!
Hi Tash your video with your lovely daughter brought back so many wonderful memories of our trip to Bali in December last year. We did many of the same things. Such a magical place! Would love to go back ❤
What a wonderful recap.Thank-you both for sharing.Magical.Glad everyone who was ill recovered.Strength to your husband for his upcoming op.I had one knee done last November..can’t imagine two at one time.Go well in your week, Tash and Alex🙏❤️👋xx
The Bali Holiday Special. I was not aware that the the cost of visiting was inexpensive. What an good time you had with all the things you did on the trip. You daughter is lovely and seems quite assertive. Take care ❤😊
Thank you so much Rosemary. Yes, Alex definitely knows her own mind. It is wonderful to watch your children grow into maturity and see who they become. I feel incredibly fortunate and truly blessed. xx
Tash. Thank you for doing this video for us with your beautiful daughter as is her mother. See you on your next podcast with all your beautiful knitting.
Thank you for sharing! My daughter wants to go to Bali to get her yoga certification and it was helpful to hear about your experiences there. Please tell Alex it was wonderful to hear her share about the trip as well. She sounds like such a personable and sweet girl.
Sounds like a lovely trip, and I'm super excited that Alex came on! How did her jellyfish sting compare to say a blue bottle? Roughly the same? Bravo to your in-laws doing all that traveling. I hope I'm up to that kind of travel at their age.
Thank you so much! I think it was a fair bit worse than a blue bottle - it hurt for a really long time. She was a trooper. And I agree - it was really lovely of my in-laws to do all that travelling. It is exhausting - we are really grateful they came.
Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ I wish I could be more near and go there...what a nice mother and doughter podcast !!! Loved it ❤❤❤❤❤love from Lisbon ❤❤❤❤
It was pretty standard to need at least 3 or 4 changes of clothing for our son on a 30-minute road trip. He would get so car sick. I have always got car sick my whole life too, as does my husband. I took my son to an accupuncture and homeopathy clinic, and in about 6 weeks, they completely cured my son and I, and we have had no trouble since. My son was 5 at the time and is 38 now. So it has really worked well. My husband thought it was nonsense and a waste of time and money, so he wouldn't go with us. He still gets car sick. Maybe that is something Alex could look into.
@mostlyknitting I imagine different acupuncturists may give different results. I think this guy really knew what he was doing. I've gone to others since for other reasons and not had luck. I suspect the homeopathy had a lot to do with it as well. We had drops we had to take under our tongue that tasted like vegetation gone bad in an alcohol base, but only a few drops at a time, so I felt the result was worth more than worrying about the very tiny bit of alcohol my son consumed. Back then a lot of children's medicines contained alcohol. But it really seemed that the two treatments worked hand in hand. I hope Alex can find help that works.
What a fun episode Tash! Your trip sounds amazing and your daughter is lovely 🥰.
Thank you so much Susie! xx
