This was a really good tutorial. The professor's body position allowed more control during the adjustment than other tutorials I have seen. Thank you for this!
I am disabled from severe SIJD and this technique makes me worse I don’t know why. So chiro’s can only adjust my upper body no yanking my legs either. I have EDS possibly and so for ppl with disorders as such chiropractics can be dangerous. But this technique I am able to do myself and it doesn’t hurt like when the chiro tries. Only problem is I need it so often like 5 times a day. Feels like my lower back and si joints come out all day long.
@@hana-chan5213 just dont, this is a very commen technique for chiro's, i actually got this done by a fysio and got a huge pop felt better right away for the next couple of weeks. just visit a chiro
How many adjustments will make the bump on SI joint going away? I have the SI Subluxation problem and feel the bone bump sticking out on the right side. I had 4 SI adjustments already. The pain in the joint is very mild now. I am wondering why the bump is still there after 4 adjustments.
+Ann Lawrence The "bump" at the SI joint, at the base of your lower back, is called the PSIS. It is a bony protrusion that is a perfectly natural part of your body. in fact the bump helps Chiropractors locate the posterior articulation of your SI joints. So don't worry about the bump! It's a natural part of your body
+albusfr Thanks for your information. I fell down from the stairway last summer and got misalignment since that day. My first chiropractor told me forget about the bump on SI. And then I went to second chiropractor, this guy told me the bump will not go away. It sounds like I had anterior rotation innominate. I am just wondering why PISI on right side is sticking out a lot more then PISI on left side. Is it possible to fix it? So far I had more than 10 adjustments, but the bump is still there.
@@tiffany9378 Sure I agree completely while at the same time educators need to realize that being healthy is just as important as being a good teacher. Especially in a health field.

He's a great teacher. Repeats it in different ways to illustrate.
My therapist has done this many times to me,it is amazing, the crack I heard I could not blieve, the relief is instant.
Feels good just watching that, looks similar to me spazing on he floor trying to get relief...
Interestingly
Why is that man so thick 😂💀
Is this safe for a patient with an artificial hip?
This was an adjustment for a posterior innominate, not purely SIJ

Can't see anything, and you can''t move the patient freely. Why on earth is he wearing clothes?

Do all SI problems come from Innominate stuck in posterior rotation?
+Radean1 No, anterior are common as well, just less so.
Radean1 there are also slips and flares that occur at the pelvis
One of the most holistic fields of medicine with an obese doctor. Ugh, lets make being fit cool again!
But first let's try making being kind to one another cool again.
