Hi Jared. Another great video! I am moving to Calgary April next year. Had no idea where to find the best place for my kids (3 and 9 years old). We love outdoors, quiet space area and good schools. After following your videos for a couple of months, now I think I found the place! 😉. Since I am moving from abroad, I will have to work on my credit score before buy any property. This might take my first year. My idea would be find a place to rent for 12 to 18 months. Unfortunately I don't see many places to rent in Calgary. Especially SW area. Any tips? Thanks and keep up with the great work.
Amazing. I would say try to rent somewhere near where you’d like to live and we can all start looking for the perfect place, build credit and then wait for the right house to buy in the area you want vs trying to find perfect place renting. Just an idea… you can always connect with us at info@chamberlaingroup.ca too for deeper questions. We’d love to help you and your family find the perfect place here. -Jared
I worked with another realtor for the detached home we are in the process of finalizing. We will end up in Evergreen and love the area. We toured many neighbourhoods and there are so many beautiful ones in Calgary. We are looking forward to migrating there soon.
Students: Don't move to Calgary. I completed 2 summer student positions with Atco Electric. I was certain that I would retire with this company. After 15 years working for them I got laid off. The Southerns love their horse jumping field in Calgary ( Spruce Meadows ) more than keeping their long time employees. Companies in Calgary are just as sh^$ty s anywhere else. They all talk about attracting young grads but how long does that last. At 30 years old you will probalbly still have student loans and these Alberta companies won't see you in the same light. It would be in your best interest to find a way to work for yourself.
Pls make a video on mahogany, auburn bay and seton! So amazing deep se calgary. Reasons for me to work harder to be somewhere like that
Yasssssssss 🙌🏻 Birding is what it’s all about!! ❤
Been looking everywhere for a video on the SW of Calgary! Thank you for the info! Is there adequate schools and hospitals in the area as well?
Awesome. Yes there are great schools and hospitals. Are you planning on moving to this area?
@@ChamberlainGroup Yes we bought in Alpine Park, moving from Quebec. Thank you for the great videos as they did help with our decision to move!
@@ChrisG4Johny amazing. If there’s anything we can do in the future for you or your friends/family please let us know!!! Welcome to Calgary… soon! 😃
@@ChrisG4Johny Only problem with the SW is there is a lack of any ethnic foods but good thing is Stoney makes the NE and Chestermere a quick drive
We are more likely moving there from Ontario in August .
Thanks, this video is very important
That’s great… what made is so important for you? Thank you for the comment and watching!
Thank you for sharing 👍🏼🇨🇦
Thank you for watching and taking time to comment 🙏🏼
I moved to NW from SW and I miss it every day of the week.
Thanks for the comment. What do you miss about the SW or not like I’m the NW?
@@ChamberlainGroup
NW is in between SW and NE

Thank you. Looking Good.
I'm buying in SW as it was cheaper than NW. NW has been getting into a bidding war recently, and SW has been neglected a bit
Really depends on the price range and area in the SW… congrats on finding something. Were you able to work with our team to buy this home?

To me, there is west SW (eg Aspen and similar) and South SW (Evergreeen etc). The two seem quite disconnected.
You are correct in terms of they are very different. However they are also very similar in many ways too it’s a large area.
I agree the southwest is very diverse
This guy is enough for Alberta Calling campaign
October 25th of what Year??? 😮
2023 I believe as that’s when the video was released.
Just wondering, which southwest neighborhood are you from?
Lived in a few… Bridlewood, Millrise, Shawnessy to name a few. 😉
I hope you know what bird watching actually means 😇. Jokes apart love your content man.
🙄 can’t say anything these days without it meaning something 😂 we’re talking about real 🦆🦅🕊️🦜😂
@@ChamberlainGroup I know man, I'm just kidding. Like I said love your videos man. Real strong analysis of the Calgary RE market.
@@punnyabrata thank you 👊🙌
Thanks for your video this price is very cheap compared to Toronto same house here in Toronto minimum 1,3 million dollars

Sorry to hear you’ve had this experience! But thank you for taking time to comment and share
if you can't afford to get into the SW then the rest is all moot.
Well that’s sounds a bit pessimistic… I don’t think it’s all that bad! SW is great and there are other incredible areas too.
