Please create a similar video for SW Calgary. I’ve watched both the videos you’ve put together for the NW and SE. Great content!

What about the SE areas of Applewood, Erin Woods, Ogden, Riverbend, etc...I see you guys talking only about the newer and higher-income areas

These areas are more in the East quadrant and north of industrial and yes we didn’t cover them as much. Out of those areas, Riverbend is a hidden gem for many reasons. Let’s chat more if you want help looking in that area. www.chamberlaingroup.ca/contact/

Not any question in particular. Was just wondering your general thoughts compared to other communities in SE as it wasn’t mentioned

Honestly I’ve heard both 1 yes and many no’s from those that live there. So it’s hard to fully say…

Can anyone say if 38 st in SE is a safe area to walk and stay?

If you are coming from Toronto/Vancouver and know good restaurants food, you would be disappointed in S.E. Calgary restaurants. My 2 cents!

    • @ChamberlainGroup

I do think that’s a very blanket style statement… and it’s not that bad. Have to remember that Calgary is a driving city. If you’re expecting to walk everywhere then yes you will be disappointed.

@@ChamberlainGroup Oh to clarify my statement, I lived in Mackenzie lake SE area for 15 years and moved to Marda loop SW area recently. Oh my, the food around here is nothing comparable! New community areas in SE have a lot of chain restaurants but not very good authentic food restaurants but still pricy). It’s not that bad I agree, you can still drive a little further to a good restaurant, but at the end, you will probably learn to cook for yourself more often, it’s a hassle to drive just to get a food. My solution at the end was “hello fresh”😉

@@yurimary1833 oh yes. Marda loop and SE suburbs are very different. Exactly to my point too. When in suburbs you aren’t walking to many restaurants however where you are now, absolutely there are plenty of places!!!
