The climb is long has two stretches that burn, but it’s manageable… however, I think the single best ride in San Diego is shuttling all the way up to the top of Laguna Mountain and hitting a few high pine trails (starting at 6,100’) and riding all the way out. You ever want to hit it again and do that ride let me know… I enjoy playing tour guide on it. It’s 18 miles and about 4,000’ of descending. Great video!
I rode this a number of times when I lived in Cali. I laughed as you were cussing out the initial climb, sounded familiar. Love this trail, hope to ride it again someday.
Great vid! Very enjoyable. First time I rode that trail was in 1983 on my brand new Diamond Back Ridge Runner. My nephew and I were frequent flyers up into the mid 2000's. Love that trail!
Gopro always makes it look so easy. I bought a mtb recently and was shocked at how hard riding trails like this is lol thatd be a nice hike while carrying a bike for me
''I've ridden this many times, some of the video didn't look like anything I had seen on the ride before. Great riding on the parts that I remember, and aren't very friendly.
Rode some trails with my 11 yr old, he needs to start riding the punchy bits and not rely on the lifts in the bike park. Sort of a tough love ride but he had his accomplishments, it was a great Father’s Day ride.
That's the problem with all mountain biking. Once I think I've ridden a zone and "checked it off the list," I learn about more cool trails that I missed! Just gotta come back!
First of all Noble is a shuttle ride, not a pedal up ride. Second of all, you didn’t even paddle up to the top and start in the correct spot. You miss the top half of the trail. Epic fail.
Dang! I'll give you a call for the shuttle next time I'm around! Thanks dude 😉 It's hard to set up a shuttle when you live in a Van and don't have a second vehicle. Still, felt like an Epic WIN.

Gotta push through that suffer for the goods! I hope you make it back there someday, bud! Get it!
This is why I'll never hike this trail, lol. Nice to finally get to see it :)
Why hike it when you can bike it!?
LMFAO..that opening was EPIC 🤣

Thanks bud! I can't even imagine ripping this trail with that older geometry/ suspension! You're a wild man!
@@DustyTrailsMTBWe waited quite a while for long travel and grippy disk brakes! Keep the dirty side down!

That's the hard truth about GoPro footy! Keep it up tho! Ride what you can, walk what you can't. I'm still doing that. lol
Nice riding.... you ripped through Stairway to Hell and all the other chunk.
Thanks bud! I thought I was crawling. I appreciate the encouragement! LOL
EXCELLENT!
Glad ya dig my dude!

Nice job @9:00 thats a tough spot
Thanks bud! I'm proud of that one. I don't think it's a feature I could clear every time I tried if I went back!

San Marcos has it's own spots.. I'm guessing you rode Double Peak?
