    Never rode Nobel after all these years. Used to make cocktail rock under an hour. Vail is great. Greer is a blast, too.

    Moving back to SoCal after spending the last 7 years in Bavaria, Germany. Really looking forward to getting on some of these trails. Great content and top notch editing. Loving it.

      How was the mountain biking there? How does it compare?

    • @brandonstefan3845

      @@Jose-sy1je It’s fantastic, similar to NorCal or the north east in terms of climate and landscape. Generally a very outdoor-centric culture, vast amounts of riding trails and biking communities. It’s no wonder there are so many newer brand from that area taking their share of the market, like Propain, Cube, Canyon, YT Industries just to name a few.

      @@brandonstefan3845 I went to a lake north of Munich before nestled in the mountains. And Salzburg, which is in Austria. Definitely agree about the outdoor culture. Nice biergardens as well lol. I'm actually always scared of mountain lions here. Nothing to worry about there. Glad you have been enjoying your time there. Wish I could also check it out again and have more time.

    I'm an original trail cutter at Greer than the farm trails back in 2002. I'm very grateful, terrific stewards of the area have applied what I saw the area to be worth.

    What is awesome is how many more amazing locations are in SoCAl! We are blessed.

    I have never ridden SoCal but it is on my radar. SoCal riding really requires being a good rut rider from the looks of just about every vid I see.

    If you like San Juan Trail you should try veering off to the left 1/4 way down and riding Chiquita. That is the most badass trail in that system. So many challenging features and rock rolls/bridges. One of my favorite trails in socal.

    question: im just getting into mountain biking and all the different types of bikes make it confusing for me to figure out which one i need. I want to one day ride trails like this, what type of mountain bike do you use?

    • @TheOutsiderMTB
      @TheOutsiderMTB  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends in the trails I want to ride. For a starter bike look for some deals on a lower end trail bike.

    Fun looking list. Thanks as always. What color is that noble canyon trail? Blue-black? Would be cool to know if a route is more enduro or trail bike trail. I just got a short travel trail(trail country?) bike(130mm front 120mm rear) to match my ht at 13omm front.

      How do you get to mt pinos?

    • @MarioV73
      @MarioV73 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@davidbryanwoodworksandmore Don't know where you live, but get yourself to the I-5 Freeway north of Los Angeles, between Gorman and Lebec, just north of Highway 138. Exit at Frazier Mountain Park Road and head west. Just go straight at every turn in the road, and after 12 miles, you'll be at the mountain's base parking lot. Continue another 8 miles, and you'll make it to the mountain top parking lot.
