This YouTuber Knows How to Push My Comfort Zone
When Joe and Shawn from @TheVantasticLife invited me to join them on a few shuttle laps at Diamond Head, I was stoked. When the Shred Shuttle dropped us off up top, and they told me we'd be trying to survive some of Squamish's steepest dirt descents, I was terrified.
These Double Black Secret Loamers would push me to my limits (and sometimes beyond them). I don't know if this was type 1 fun, or type 2 fun - but either way, the entire afternoon was full of nervous laughter.

Tim knows how to build the best Trails I've ever Ridden. Wade and Stan know how to ride 'em! Seriously, every trail I've ridden that Tim has built - Out There, Bring on The Weekend, and this one - feels like it was built specifically for me! (Yes, i know that sounds narcissistic). Pemberton is an MTB Sensation!

Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton: It's hard to talk about one without the others. They make up the three primary riding destinations along the Sea To Sky Corridor. But Wade knows how to get me to push my limits - mostly by making me believe in myse...

On steep stuff like that It is all in the front brake and having the confidence in barely touching the rear. When you hear the rear tire slipping you are using too much rear brake and in turn having less control. Often times on really steep sustained stuff like that you can even let go of your rear brake entirely. Of course body positioning is also important and you don't want to be riding your rear wheel either. That's why Remy can do a stoppie down the entire slab.

This is an older video. I've since cut them down to 780. But yeah, good advice. Hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake, and helpful comments like yours! 🤘

Another good trail right by Mailboxes is Fence line. Definitely will pedal but some good flow with a few jumps. If you like tech, try barking dogs or DD's. Sweetness is totally blown out.

Dude, kudos on the production quality of this. The second microphone makes a huge difference and I like the extra effort on the animations. Nice work! (Trail looks awesome too.)

Thanks dude! It's all quite a bit of extra work, but at least it pays off with higher view counts! Oh wait.... 🤣

That wooden feature at 9:42 seems super sketchy to me at trail speed. Has potential to send you to flat / into the rocks if you're not careful.

Only way to clear the jumps is to take your finger off the break 😂

Ooo was Anna running on Continental's Kryptonal/Xytonal tires??? How she found the tires? Any good?

Wow! You can tell her tire type from the video! Thanks for watching in 4K! She loves the kryptotals! They grip everything and have held up super well. She convinced me to try one as a rear Tire. I was pretty desperate for a tire, and couldn't find the right compound, so I'm running their softest rubber. It grips well, but I'm eating through it FAST!
