I thoroughly enjoyed this, particularly because you chose Mozart as background music. “Diesel for life” lol
I've always found VE pumps much easier to work on. What do you guys think?
Slow fitting please
Simpler than a carburetor! I just can't understand why people are intimidated to work on Diesels, DB2's make for great beginner injection pumps to work on and tweak, as well as the engines they're used on!
The Stanadyne manual says that torquing the delivery valve screw accurately is critical, at 0:52 he appeared to do that without a torque wrench.
Why did he not use a torque wrench?
The torque sequence was edited out so that the video would fit the duration of the music.
@@dieselcare No, it's ok. I looked up the rebuild manual and no torque specs are given.
