Had a injection pump that wouldn't prime and these guys talked to on the phone 3 different times trying to help me figure it out and not once did they try and sell me something until I asked to purchase a seal kit. Loved the videos! In one you said if you remove or loosen the check valve (return) and the engine starts..... why would it start(help). Low pressure side... what shifted? Viscosity comp, pressure reg? I’m confused how it changed the high pressure pistons from producing high injection pressure. Help the confused 😮 Thanks in advance JohnnyGSE
In regards to the plate, I've made a similar holder but using an angle iron instead. This allows me to have it vertically or horizontally depending on what's needed.
I was adjusting the fuel and I had the Allen setting there and when I cranked it over for top center to adjust, the Allen was in too far and it rolled onto it and I heard a pop. Now it doesn’t pump? Thoughts?

i have a db2 on my 6.9 so far this new one i got is going strong but the old one gave up at about 100,000

How do you readjust the guide stud with the lock nut. What is the adjustment or where should it be on reassembly? Cheers
It's best to mimic the original position. If that's not possible run it all the way in and then out 3 to 4 turns.
