On a more solemn note, I hope the two of you are able to hear her most recent rendition of 'Unchained Melody', which she performed in Oslo at the Nobel Peace Prize event that honored as its recipient a truly courageous woman named Nargis Mohammadi. She is languishing in an Iranian prison for trying to improve rights for women and Angelina's presentation is the most emotion laden, penetrating version of the song I have ever experienced. You may or may not know that Angelina's beloved grandmother and life's mentor, Mery Zamani, is herself of Iranian heritage and I'm sure it played a part in Angelina's superb presentation.

If she sings "My Funny Valentine" a song from 1937 the comments are her, she sang it better than anyone. If she sings Adele's last song of this year, we agree that she sings it better with more warmth. Angelina in my opinion has her own style, which she adapts to the different musical genres that she covers. It is no coincidence that she is also called the girl of a thousand voices.
