    This is brilliant. The Se for the INTJ/INFJ is true. Taking any amount of time away from thinking about the future or stewing in our own heads to focusing on what you are saying/doing is a huge sign that we care about you. I am curious though, can this Se be used deviously to get short term gains out of a relationship?

      Everyone has the power to be manipulative like that

      That would be despicable

    I'm an infj and actually, this was pretty accurate there. If someone is very important to me, not just romantically, I'll actually spend more time with them and all that. You'll know I actually really like you if I actually plan on going out with you and doing activities that make me leave my house just to see you. Also, other than Se, Ni is also another reason to tell if you're really important to me (and other infjs and intjs as well) because if I imagine you in my future, that means I hold you in very high priority. So Se is how I show it, Ni is the final deal. If I don't see a future with you, then tbh, you're not as important!

    Incredibly accurate re: ISFP. I’ll actually share my opinions, as well, rather than just being neutral.

    Damn totally true,I have fe inferior as an ISTP, and I just use my Fe function to my serious one. I give them attention and caring.
    But if my Fe is not appreciated enough by them, I just gotta throw that people away and didn't want to rebuild the relationship again.
    I have to learn and develop my Fe for sure

      INTP here. And I'm just way too all or nothing about this feeling connection. I'll give my important people attention, and even attempt empathy, when they need it. But then I'll expect the same from them, and if they fail, I just start wishing them dead. All logic fails when I try using my inferior function.

      Relatable. I will just shut them down if I use my inferior function and act like nothing ever happen between us, nor trying to rebuild the relationship again - another ISTP here

    I think the most explicit and concrete way to tell IXTP are investing Fe in you is when they value the things you value, when they value your feelings toward a situation or a common thing, and they get into it, this can lead to accept you as you are; no judgments, no critics, no rareness. Harmony.

    So the major difference between (INFP/ISFP) AND (INTP/ISTP)
    seems to be that TE inferior functions want you to see them as competent they invest their ability to be respected and values into you over others
    Where as FE inferior functions priority creating harmony with you that you see them as compatible and easy to be around.
    If that's the case I still don't know if im an infp or an intp

      Same I always get either INTP or INFP on the tests.. Still not sure which after 3 years of trying to figure it out now 😄

    Definitely relate to the Fi/Ti as an ENxJ, the being vulnerable about my true values and telling the hard truths. My desire in this is finding common ground at our core, to build a foundation of shared values, trust, honesty and respect - and resonating in that nurturing and validating energy and intimacy. The only difference is that I’m like this with pretty much anyone. I don’t only choose to do this with special romantic partners nor do I feel it robbed from me when we break up. Maybe I should be more guarded, not sure, but I’ll happily invest in these ways in anyone who genuinely reciprocates, and I have quite a few ‘best friends’ bc of it. (I’m their best friend but honestly no real idea who my best friend is 🤷‍♀️.). Maybe it’s my Type 2.

    • @angd2174
      @angd2174 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In fact, this really comes alive and irresistible in me when I’m intoxicated and inhibitions lowered lol, and I feel driven to sit down next to a stranger and in moments be having the most intimate conversation they’ve ever had, asking them deeper questions, showing them they matter with my complete attention and genuine interest, allowing them to discover their own truths in the safety of my easy acceptance and steady gaze. With my commanding yet gentle personality this seems to carry a lot of weight 🤷‍♀️. I remind them of their value and affirm what they already know. People need to know they are worth investing in - especially from a complete stranger. Change someone’s life/perspective today with your unwarranted and surprising investment. That’s how I do. Honestly dude - this is my whole life calling. (Not the drunk part lmao but hell why not)

    Interesting. I’m and INTJ and I can identify with that - my time is very important to me. My lady is an ENTP - our relationship is awesome by the way. One way I invest in her comes down to supporting dreams. She has always dreamed of starting her own business and I am going to crush that goal with her when the time is right, even though it’s not something I would have gravitated toward on my own. I also identified with investing Fi interestingly. I don’t easily share my feelings and values with just anyone - but I will with my inner circle. At least - when I do it is in a vulnerable way. I can share feelings and values with Joe Schmo on the street - I just don’t care what he thinks like I do with my inner circle.
    Side note: What are your general thoughts on people like me who seem to be “close to the middle” on MBTI tests? I.e. I’ll test as 55% introverted and 45% extroverted, 60% thinking and 40% feeling, etc. Close to middle in each letter designation. Might be interesting material for future videos. I identify very strongly with many aspects of an INTJ personality, but some may not be as applicable.

    • @JB-so5gr
      @JB-so5gr 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To answer your side note: I am the same, an Ambivert. Both extroverted and introverted, however, I find that when I have been extroverted, I need at least the same amount of time afterwards to be introverted in order to "recharge" As INTJ, I guess we've just adapted to be extroverted when it is required.

    • @j.curtis902
      @j.curtis902 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joe Bradley I’ll agree to that. I read Susan Cain’s book Quiet. We do in fact live in a world that supports the “extrovert ideal.” So we’ve adapted to that. I also call myself an ambivert 👍 I think it also helps that I can count on less than 10 fingers the number of people whose opinions of me I care about. Makes it easy to be social and outgoing when I don’t care whether or not someone likes me.

    Last pair has to be ENTP & ENFP. ENFP is being called ESFP in the video, but ESFP doesn’t have Si inferior. ENTP and ENFP do. So for anyone who’s confused, she has it right on the board, but somehow she’s saying ESFP at the end-it’s a mistake, she must mean ENFP.

    Have not seen the Video yet...lets see if I am correct:
    For me as an ESTP I hate not having options. If I truely care about you and invest in you I start getting rid of some options in favour of things that are beneficial for the relationship.
    Am I correct? Lets See! :D

      Pretty much yes. A core aspect of planning for the future is narrowing down options.
