I hope that all the issues with your truck gets a remedy asap. You should consider the Arrma Notorious for your next purchase. Keep the videos rolling!
Those spacers, which should likely be the metal washer up against the cush drive and the plastic next to the support bearing, are to keep the support bearing in the proper location up against the chassis. Its not going to affect movement of the shaft and cush drive assembly, itself.
That 3 point mount stopped me stripping gears after 6 months of pain. Great upgrade dude ⚙️ I also like the stock original small tires - give them a try one day if you find them cheap!
@@redbanditracingThe belted ones slow the rotation. Also I run 20/50 or 20/46 gearing with stock motor and Esc quite an increase in speed. Great channel dude. 👍
Love your videos! Very informative! A video idea, I’d love to know how you & your son got into the hobby! My kid was always breaking cheap Rc cars. So I finally bought him a slash (warm up) me & my dad use to be into the hobby. Kind of feels like a full circle moment!
My maxx always cut out blinking green all the time turns out it was my receiver the whole time I went with dumborc rc and it fixed it! Finally no more blinking green light every 10 minutes 😅
@redbanditracing i've had my xrt Ultimate motor fail 3 times🤣. First time the bearing and the 2 other times the magnet got disconnected from the motor shaft so i just glued it back with epoxy glue. I've glued it 2 times and its held up great🤣
Where do you live. I know where that is. Been bashing there many times. You guys should check out fiesta island. Last time i went people built a huge track there.
@@redbanditracingA double whammy! Not nice on the wallet but it happens. Been watching the content for a while, you've been putting through it's paces! 👍
That GPM Cush drive is trash. That little bearing that holds the shaft In will always strip out. I’ve tried it before. I’ll leave a link for another GPM product. The bearing for the shaft is way bigger and won’t mess up your mesh.
I ended up putting 5687 size motor in mine with 1.5 gears and the gpm shaft.. max 6 esc... one thing i noticed from watching it run in your videos is i think a shock tune might help alot.. 10th scale servo all the way.. i recommend yipin servo.. i rarely break my xmaxx anymore.. i should probably do a video pretty soon
These are not "upgrades" they are replacements for parts for stock parts that have a very failure rate. You need nearly 2K to get an Xmaxx up and running consistently.
Savox servo in mine, works amazing

We are building a Arrma lineup, that’s another great RC choice.
Spectrum 8s ESC fits perfect in stock location. Its an OG MAX6 in disguise.
Spektrum parts in a Traxxas ….. 🫣 haha.

Found out later most don’t use them either. That noise wasn’t the Cush drive shaft, it was a bad rear inner hub bearing. Thanks for the info

I’ve heard that also, V4 tires seem to backflip better is what I’m hearing.

We have talked about this idea, and we will be making a video on it possibly this weekend. It’s definitely a great hobby to bond with.

This one was the ESC not working with the receiver. First RC to have this problem. Eventually switching to Futaba remote
Check out the perfect pass 80kg servo, fits directly into the xmaxx without an adopter
Get the max6 G2 and the 1250 kv when the stock motor fails.
When the motor goes out, definitely will. Good recommendation

We live in the central coast CA, we visit Santee once a year or so.
Lol I wonder if your city considers RC cars "offroad activity" Playing right by that sign is funny
Yeah no clue, ain’t my city. Lots of people run there RC’s there, lots of planes sometimes.
I've been trying to talk myself into getting an X-Maxx with the sale going on. Videos like this are not helping...😆
Issues have been fixed, unfortunately it’s by removing Traxxas ESC and Servo. It’s definitely worth the sale price.

SLEDGE had issues out of the box as well, but a few changes and it’s been our most reliable basher. Thank you for comment
Just out of curiosity have you guys tried crawlers?
We have tried a few, but we don’t own one just yet.

I’ll check out the link
Could you put that link in this comment

I’m gonna lighten the shock oil a bit. The HobbyWing and Savox servo completely changed the truck. Video soon
What drill and bits are you using?
MIP, and Milwaukee bit driver
How much money you spent of this RC ??
Enough haha

GPM Cush drive shaft is an upgrade
GPM parts are not upgrades? Sounds like you had a bad experience or you don't own a xmaxx
