I've been trying this tactic with Sassuolo and it's absolutely *FANTASTIC*. I've been watching Sporting's games as well and I noticed that they probaly use the tempo a little bit slower than the video. I've changed it i my save and it worked so much better. Maybe with a better team I can increase the tempo, but to a Sassuolo level works fantastic this way. Cheers from Brazil!
Loving your latest vids mate, love how you talk through your tactic recreations, it really helps when making tactics to fit my players especially when I don't have the exact personal in that will do a tactic 100% - helps me to understand what to change up to fit the players I do have. I've noticed teams who are forced to play the ball around the defence in fm22, usually the weak sides, get a lot of possession stat for this and it skews some of the ai teams into seemingly great possession, I suspect you'd have featured higher otherwise. Also, I have a request. I never got to try out a Segundo Volante in FM21 and I've read a couple of great articles, one of which that goes right back to the roots of the name in Argentina and Brazil, and I love the idea of a marauding DM pulling strings and then popping up to grab goals at rhe end of the moves. Have you, in your research, come across teams where that style of player is deployed and if so, have you or could you recreate said tactic?
Im playing with Sporting and using 4-2-2-2 system, 2 full backs attacking duty, 2 ball playing CB`s defend, 2 Centre mids DLP support and BBM support, AMC support and Shadow striker just behind my srtikers, Pressing forward attack and Advanced forward attack. No wingers cause i think that "wingers tactics" are no where near as good as without wingers. i call my system "Maradonas legacy". I lost only 3 games, draw 3 and won rest of the games. Also managed to go top8 at champions league, losing Liverpool 4-2 aggregate (they won it).
You clearly don’t understand or don’t read. You have to tweak. I tweak every game. I said you have to tweak many times. My tactics are not plug n play as they are trying to replicate so you HAVE TO change things if you want a good run. On holiday, you can not manage the game like slow the tempo, increase or decrease pressing. Increase attacking width..that’s called tweaking. You also can’t praise players and keep morale high, that’s called managing. I play my games on stream and discord, you can join if you think it’s cheating. P.S, this tactic has been simmed and won 3 trophies. I don’t need to cheat - I’m not trying to create best tactics, only replications which are designed for one team

Check the Ralf rangnick recreation, you could use a Seugndo Volante instead of the DM in that formation. Works well for me.
