But take a look at United's squad, we have Luke Shaw who's constantly injured, Malacia who's just not good enough to play in the PL, Dalot who's not so good at defending, and only one good player Mazraoui...No wonder United is not doing so good under Amorim atm. But I'm happy to give the guy more time and especially more transfer windows to not only bring in the players that he needs, also clean out the deadwoods. GGMU!

In Portugal the bigger teams play with a high defensive line with diferent zones of pressure depending of the opposite team tactics and quality, in big games the midle block is always used in order to shorten the space to teams with high quality players with the ball versus playing against some top teams in Europe, in this case the pressure begins in the second line. I was waiting for this video. Regarding the FMM tactics, maybe the wingbacks are more like inverted wingers in the subsequent line, or at least one of them. it will give the team more roaming attacking positions and adress the swapped foot choices Amorim seems to like.
