Hello from Quebec. Those crocheted doilies with pansies brought back so many memories. I made several of those over 30 years ago. Haven't crocheted in years other than baby blankets because I mostly cross stitch now. Great video. Take care and have a great week.
Hi Margaret! I just fell in love with the happy little pansies. I have only made a few doilies but nothing as pretty as those. Maybe I will search for a pattern to give it a try. Have a wonderful week. See you next Sunday😊
Just love watching your Flosstubes! You both always say you haven’t done much then whip out a nearly finished stitched piece, a huge blanket, Granny squares times 8,000, painting, thrifting, stashing and crafting stuff!! 😂 I look forward to all your inspiring thrifty finds too.
I always love watching your videos! Jeanette I love your Tutti Frutti afghan. It's so pretty. Again why can't I crochet?!😭 The colors are gorgeous! Also love the crocheted apron you were gifted. I have one similar to that. I'll send you a picture soon. Heather, I'm curious as to what you're always looking at to your right. Is there a window there? I know, I notice everything!🙂
I love seeing all that you are doing. The roses cross stitch is over the top beautiful. The French cross stitch is so precious. Can't wait to see the sweater. You're both very special.
If you can crochet you can do the hexagon! I didn’t mean to make it sound hard at all. It was just a change from the granny squares I have been working on robotically. But I’ll eventually be able to do these robotically too lol
Fun catching up with you gals. Love to see all the fun things that you’re working on. Glad to hear that you’re feeling better Heather. Jeanette love your tutti-frutti Afghan. The colors are beautiful and you’ve done a really nice job on it. Have a great couple weeks.
As always, I love the various projects you two select to work on. The quilted pillow block is especially tempting to imitate. Every time you show the vintage crochet doilies, I think of the box of crochet that I stole off my mother's porch. They were all done by my grandmother and she was giving them to Goodwill. I loved them and never understood why she wanted to get rid of them. Anyways, hope you all get a break from the 'cruds' as we call them. Thank you for taking the time to share your crafts!
Saw your video pop up last night. Always fun to see everything you both sew, cross stitch, crochet, and just chat about. I don’t live too far from you ladies and I know what you mean about crazy weather. One minute rainy then sunny then hailing, then snowing 🥶 My birthday was Saturday😁. Stay healthy and soon maybe we can feel the sunshine ❤️🪡
I'm always excited when you two have your new flosstube . It's nice to hear what you've been up to. I love to go into my craft room and stay there all day. I'm lucky my husband doesn't mind. You ladies take care, stay well.
Glad to see you. I love you guys. And enjoy seeing little Miss Evelyn. Love that you have a big variety of crafts to show. Jannett your hands and your nails look great love that nail color. Keep on doing what your doing. We enjoy it. Linda from Rhode Island
I love to watch you guys because you do your own thing with your cross stitch especially. Not the sos!! Varied interesting pretty and cute!! And the crochet, quilting, sewing, antiquing etc. is just the cherry on top!!😊
I just found your videos. I love all of the projects that you are working on. I have the Buttermilk Basin book and have'nt made a single thing. You got me motivated to try something. I am currently making the twelve days of Christmas using wool felt.
Can you share the specifics in the pillow in the opening credits? Its stunning!! As a stitcher, quilter AND teacher- I want to make one just like it! I love watching you both!
Hi Vanessa I made the little pillow with the tomatoes from Lori Holts book Farm Girl Vintage 2. I did the 6” block size. It’s the Corn and tomatoes block but I only made the tomatoes. They are the perfect size for little pin pillows. It actually makes two with the directions. I used all Lori Holt fabrics. The finished size of my pillow is 4.5 x 8.5. Let me know if you have anymore questions😁
You gals made my evening ❤ I just love visiting with you and seeing what all you create. Love the grand baby's Afghan. I'm going to start another corner 2 corner this week. I need those projects that don't need that much thought in the evening. I'm thinking about starting that sweater too. I am probably going to crochet from stash and that may mean using 2 skeins of yarn at one time 😊
I love books too! Love the Spring colors and bunnies. I am waiting for my house to be built in Idaho so will be organizing and redoing too. Rainy here in CA too and so no gardening. Lots of projects going as always , sometimes too many. Hugs to you all.
Great to see you ladies. Love, love all your crocheting. Your videos are always so awesome, hard to wait until another one. Take care and see you next time.
The circle frame is perfect!! I laughed so hard when you guys talked about your phone .. my grown children say I have “office hours” the ringer is off from 9pm to 9am and if they super need me they call dad 😂 We are in spring cleaning mode as well. You are inspiring me to take everything out of my craft room and redo. I ordered ice cream yarn to make two granny square afghans for my grand-boys. The look is perfect. Thank you so much for mentioning us ❤️ So good to catch up with y’all! Happy Stitching!
Great video! Both of you have pretty crochet granny projects going. I have made them for babies & used a loopy border that is different & fun. I love the Ice Cream yarn, I'll have to check out the different flavors. I hope everyone gets well.
Boy was I frightened that you guys were going to take a longer time off. So so glad to see you always look forward to your videos. As always keep up the good work. Have a great day and see you in 2 weeks.
So great to watch another video! All of your projects are just beautiful! Your vintage finds will look so cute in your new room. Looking forward to your next video!
I’m so glad you ladies are on the the mend and are back. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again you two are so talented, so many crafts love watching what you create. Ok I have to ask I’ve been searching so much for green roses, I found something on on some pin it sight and I registered and then it said I needed 30 bit coins, I was like what the heck where do you even get those? So since the pattern creators are no longer doing patterns I’m hoping maybe you might consider a pattern share or something I would take care of your pattern and promise to return it I have exhausted all other hopes of finding it anywhere else unless you know anything about bit coins and that sight scares me. Thank you for any help 😊
If you are looking for more rose charts, look for an old book called "Sweeter than the Rose", a 1993 Leisure Arts book. By the way, your round frame was made to display decorative collectors plates.
Janet, I just gasped when you showed the big granny square blanket in Tutti Frutti! I immediately wooshed some in my cart to make a blanket for my Grandgirl for Christmas. Can you tell me what size of hook you are using? I think you said it was smaller than called for. Thanks so much. I can’t wait to see how your sweater turns out!
Thanks ladies. Love your visits! 💕
So much goodness and sweetness in this Flosstube! Thank you! Say hi to Evie!

Hello ladies! 💜☮️
Great video just ❤️ it!!
Always fun to see what you are doing! Fun antique shopping finds. Did you give up sugar completely or just cut back? You are both looking great.
Love your videos.
Always love love love your videos! 💕
Thank you Lainie!! Have a wonderful week😁
do you have a pattern for the quilted pillow you showed at the beginning? Love it!!
I don’t have a pattern but I will talk about it in our next video and give you the specifics!
I love the Tutti Frutti Afghan! I will definitely pick up the yarn. What size hook did you use?
She used an F hook. 😄

Isn’t it the prettiest colors?!! I am using an F 3.75. It is actually a good size for the yarn. Not snaggy at all.
@@CraftyCottageStitches Thanks so much!!
Hey you two! Check out this tutorial for a crochet 3D strawberry drawstring bag by MUSHYY.
I just looked it up and it is absolutely adorable! I also saw the pineapple one she did which is so fun! Now I’m down a rabbit hole 😂🥰
