I have one of these and it's a great vehicle; if I go on long trips I take my spare with me--the spare cost me $69 and it takes up very little space because it sits upright.
@@amazonx42 the Toyota RAV4 hybrid comes with a spare. Might be because Honda puts the hybrid batteries in the rear of the car. There may not be enough room for a spare . I owned a 23 Tucson until it was totaled after a tree fell on it! I bought a CRV and while it’s missing some things the build quality is far superior than the Tucson. Wasn’t built “solid” at all. And the CRV drives alotta Bette and is quieter.
Despite people complained about 360 degree camare, ventilated seats , panoramic sunroof still this crv is selling like hot cakes and surprisingly it broke the record of all crv sold in the past..wow thats really impressive
Great video! Actually just watched it after bringing home a 2025 CRV AWD Sport Touring a week ago. So far so very good. Rides great, new car smell, BOSE stereo is very clean sounding, interior car noise is minimal. Driver seat adjustments are awesome, and it's a very sharp looking mini suv. Went with the Urban Gray Pearl, almost went white, but my 2015 Challenger RT is white, so didn't want another white car this time. Keep up the great videos!: California pretty warm at the moment as well.
Great video. I have owned EVERY version of the CRV except this one. They offer, good resale value, stellar safety features, comfortable, quiet interior and a SOLID build. I even patiently waited for a hybrid. It was Honda’s sorry technology features but premium price for its segment that finally forced me away. So many features are offered by other manufacturers. Digital rear view camera, 360 cameras, HUD, panoramic roof, large display ambient lighting, puddle lights and “self driving”. Too little for too much.
@@ManagerDan in that same Compact SUV sector, it came down to 3 models in my price range. The Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson and the Toyota Venza offered all these features plus a couple even had a spare tire! I went with the Venza.
There are some brands that have a spare for their hybrids, including the Kia Sorento. Definitely needs to be an option. If you’re on a long trip, a fix a flat might not be enough or the tire might be damaged in a way that it would not even help.
I agree, the only time I’ve ever had a tire problem was because I hit something on the road and ruined the tire. The repair kit is useless for that. Plus I live in a rural area and everything is at least a 30 minute drive.
I like the grey seats available on the touring but we found a sport l with everything we wanted. Wish these came with ventilated seats, 360 cameras, and panoramic sunroof as well!
Honda need to delete the heated steering wheel and add cooled seats on cry’s shipping to the southeast in the US. Also all cry’s need 360* surround camera.
Lack of ventilated seats and 360 camera are huge misses in my opinion when most of the competition offer them. I also wish they would offer the bigger touchscreen found in the new Accord. Hopefully they’ll add some of these features down the line.
Every single negative comment just harps on the same 3 things- no ventilated seats, no 360 camera and no spare tire. It’s like the same person goes around to all the reviewers and makes the same comment We get it- OK??!!
One thing I used to like about Honda is they didn't force you to go hybrid like toyota did. Now as far as I know the only way to get the higher level of trim (on the CRV at least) is if you get a hybrid. Maybe this will change, but I think early on at least the highest trim you can get with the non- hybrid engine is the EX-L. Not a huge deal, but I like the option to have a regular gas engine. I always liked the option they had for the V6 in accords too, now that's gone as well.
Something to think about: The eCVT transmission is a far superior transmission than the regular CVT. Not even sure why Honda calls it a CVT, no belt, just gears and electric motors.
Bought the Canadian version EX-L which doesn’t have roof rails. The thing is exceeding rated mpg at times. It gets down pretty low if you do a lot city driving. Overall a very nice car which so far I’ve been enjoying immensely. I got the radiant red metallic which really pops with the black accents. I definitely paid an arm and a leg for it but so far I’m happy with my purchase. No spare tire but the horn sounds good, not that little beep beep horn like on the 2023s.
When will Honda get with the program and offer a different interior color option besides basic black and boring gray? At the price of these trucks, it should come with upgraded options.
The inability to lock the car from the outside while it's running is an issue. Honda needs to add some sort of override option for this. For safety reasons, I understand why it's there. But I'd like to leave my pet in the vehicle for a couple mins (like running into the gas station) and be able to have the AC on and still be able to lock the car from the outside.
Needs front sensors to help parking activated to prevent hitting front objects such as vehicles especially when you have tandem garage and forward and 360 degree camera!
No. My 13 and 16 Hondas have it but not the 24s (25s?), just the blind spot monitors in the mirrors. The wife is dependent on it so I may have to get another brand.
Really despise all the piano black trim and the black wheels. Looks like a police SUV. If I bought this just to have the navigation system and the Bose sound system and the hands free power liftgate system, I'd have to replace the wheels with something silver and find a way to swap out piano black hood trim with chrome parts from "lower end" models to make it more visually palatable. And deal with not having a spare tire because it's a hybrid. My wife and I have always bought Honda touring models (2 CR-Vs and a Pilot). Looks like that streak ends now unless I want to shell out hundreds for new rims and swap out trim pieces.
@@garrickhanson I actually haven't found any factory wheels I truly like, but I can't stand all the black wheels out now on so many vehicles. I think the customer ought to have wheel options when buying a car that don't cost extra. Just bought a Mazda CX-5 Turbo Signature, by the way. Not exactly thrilled with the metallic gray wheels on it, but at least it isn't black.

A spare tire is important; it would be nice to have that option.
A spare tire is a must.
If I a see a second dealer sticker like that, I’m out of there.
I vote for ventilated seats, 360 camera and panoramic roof. And make it elite trim. Same as in Pilot and Odyssey
If you belong to Costco, use their discount buyers pricing. We saved a lot.
When will car makers start offering Dash cams as an option. They are so useful in case of an accident.
