For the extra 6 grand, I would be happy with the Sport model. However, Honda CR-V also has a Sport L that has auto tailgate and better interior feature than the standard Sport. I would have preferred to see the comparisons between the Touring and Sport L .. both AWD models.
Coming from a 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.0t, I gotta say I'm disappointed that the Touring trim lacks a hod, and ventilated seats. Also the air vents are aesthetically pleasing, but its at the cost of functionality. There's no way to clip an air freshener in the front vents. A 360° cam would've been nice as well. Other than that, it's a solid vehicle.
I have to agree with the 360 camera, but I don’t clip anything to my air vents either way, just grab a different type of air fresher that won’t put strain on your tabs from the air vents
I have a 2022 Acura RDX fully loaded and I love the car but gas mileage is pretty bad, I recently bought a house an hour away from work and the fuel cost is killing me so I’m looking for something more wallet friendly and naturally I went looking for the cheaper sibling the CRV, but even though I like the new CRV for the money is outdated, with the competition I can get 360 degree cameras, panoramic roof, bigger infotainment screens, Head up display, ventilated seats etc… for the same money as the Sport Touring, I think Honda needs to add more high end features if they going to charge $45k for the top trim
(With the competition) mention them please because I was totally lost & convinced into this, I was looking at the Highlander but is a lot more money & I don’t like how it looks
I’m disappointed that Honda decided not to include the garage door opener for my (2024) sport touring. I would think all sport touring would have this feature. They must have made a change during production.!!!!!!
@@VagabondBuilds after some research it looks like the home link that provided this functionality was a paid subscription - no thank you. My garage opener works fine placed on my visor. 😂
I hate the perforated leather which accumulates dirt. Also hate the black rims on the wheels which make the car look like a police vehicle or back in the day when people couldn't afford hub caps. Also missing on my touring hybrid was the garage door opener. I had a 2010 crv & find the new front windowsill angle puts you in the sun more baking like a cake. That said it's a comfy car, handles great with electric motor & gets great mileage abt 37mpg. Now if you could make a trashcan between the rear seats on floor that great. The technology screen is super easy to use .I would buy the car again.if they paint the rims silver.
CRV's don't come with a spare tire. Say that I shred a blown out tire many miles away from any road service help or in the desert. What is to do now? This is a deal breaker for this car. No spare, no good.
@@VagabondBuilds - I know that space is limited for a spare tire to be included in the design of this vehicle but the option to have one must never be charged to a customer.
Might be a deal breaker for you but not to all folks. I’ve driven and owned 5+ vehicles in span of 22yrs and have yet to use the spare tire! I get it that sometimes is just that insurance and peace of mind of having one in the trunk even if you don’t use it often…
@@VagabondBuilds I'm not going to say EVER, but I'd rather spend my money travelling rather than having a never ending car payment. I have 2 years left on an original 60 month loan, zero percent interest with a $298 monthly payment. I'll just sit on the sidelines until it makes financial sense. Again going from a current 30 mpg combined to 38 mpg combined makes no financial sense with only 300 dollars in fuel savings. Especially since 75 percent of my driving miles is freeway.
Just replaced my 2021 Passport Touring with the 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport. Love the MPG of the CRV, performance is about the same (CRV response is immediate, no need to downshift on call for acceleration). I missed the shift lever on the Passport, got it back on the CRV. The emergency brake pedal was a pain to push on the Passport, CRV emergency brake is push button. Passport was a big step to get in and out, CRV is easier. CRV is smaller with less storage, we still were very comfortable with four adults on a week long 1500 mile trip. CRV did not like the Allegheny mountains, where the Passport excelled. CRV averaged 37MPG, Passport was 24mpg. I do miss my Sirius radio. The hybrid whistle on the CRV rocks!

The black wheels ruin the look of both of them they look absolutely shite. Black wheels look ok on a wheelbarrow or lawnmower but rubbish on cars or motorbikes imho of course.
These two trims from Honda are so close when it comes to trim levels, but what are the actual differences between them?
Watch the video to find out.
Just bought a 2024 CRV Touring Hybrid and they do not have the garage door openers anymore.
@@Tru-i4r thanks for pointing that out. Good to know.
touring has garage door opening bottom on bottom of mirror
The detail and extra mile for this video is great! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks a ton! Thank you for the kind words!
Excellent comparison of the 2 hybrids. Best yet I have seen.
Thanks!! Glad you liked it!!! Appreciate the feedback!
What a fantastic in-depth review & comparison! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you!
Thanks so much! Definitely going with the sport touring.
Hope you enjoy it!

I got the Sport L. Great middle ground from these two.
Great. Hope you are happy with your choice!
How much did you pay for yours? I’m really considering the crv hybrid awd
I got the Sport L and don’t regret it
I heard it’s slow is that true?
I got the sport L Paid 46,000 before taxes in California, definitely good buy and it's fast enough .
Awesome thanks for the video 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for watching!
Great review! You made it easy for me to want chose the sport touring. Is the Apple CarPlay and Android auto wireless or wired?
Nice!!! Glad we can help. I believe it needs cord.
Wireless
I just got the hybrid sport touring and do not have the garage door buttons on the mirror in my 2024.
Interesting, where are you located?
@@VagabondBuilds Arkansas. It wasn’t offered as a standard feature.
Somehow, Toyota managed to add a spare tire to the Rav 4 hybrid. I got the CRV touring, but this is my main concern.
I think that’s a package “Auto Dim Mirror” also include the garage doors
My same question for a touring and not having it That’s crazy. I’m going crazy looking for it on mine 😬
It’s mad annoying for a top trim the mirrors doesn’t automatically close 🤦🏾♂️
Is that a make it or break it?
how do you make lights blinking like the begining of the video
That only happens because we are filming. The lights do not do that.
Do all 2024 crv sport touring have the home link?🧐
I believe it is together with the crv touring hybrid
I drive an average of 350 miles highway use. 43 m/G. And in city about 20 miles. 45m/G
👍🏼 and your choice is?

Yeah but the rav4 is also more expensive. And Hyundai and Kia are trash.

Don’t need most of these fancy options. Bought the regular 2025 Sport Hybrid recently for $33,500. We’re getting >40mpg in mixed driving.

No spare tire or donut tire available on CRV Hybrids. if you buy a spare the only place to store it takes up your cargo storage.
True.
