    this victory is more a reflection pf dire state of Pakistan rather than England's philosphy and approach. But anyways excellent performance by England

    I still have a real problem trusting Pakistan. Some of their second innings dismissals were dubious, and then I thought "Imagine the money to be made by going against everyone betting on Pakistan getting another huge total on this road."
    But even if this is a 'real' victory by England, it's hilarious to read England fans equate it to something important. Pakistan is in shambles right now (precisely why Gillespie was brought in as coach) and then you add an absolute road into the mix. The only thing that can be taken away from this game is the fake Test batting average increases.

      They don't even play red ball cricket in their domestic structure and their first class cricket is not managed properly,So how can you think that these weak players who can only play hit and gig format can survive in the heat of test cricket. Most of these Pakistani batters are only suited for short formats only,They don't have that technique and fitness level to survive in test cricket and when you are on the field for 150 overs in that 40 degree ☀️, Pakistani players were physically and mentally tortured by English,So it's always the third innings in subcontinent when things start to happen and it happened as well

    I got into cricket in the late eighties, lived through the nineties where most teams had amazing talent and we lost a lot. This is the most exciting style of cricket I’ve seen us play. It’s so exciting and incredibly proud of our team

    Is it a coincidence that England look like trailblazers when in Pakistan and pretty ordinary everywhere else🙂

      We have won in Sri Lanka, South Africa and Pakistan in the last few years. Look at other teams' away records apart from India. You call that ordinary? When was the last time your team won away?

    England always looks extraordinary against pakistan, srilanka, bangladesh, newzealand but an ordinary team againt australia and India

      Away from home Australia and India look ordinary against England.

    Whatever this team set-up achieves, whatever it fails to achieve… posterity will look very favourably on the McCullum-Stokes era.

    For your information, PCB holds a lot of money. Only ICC gives us 34m $ every year. PCB spends 1 billion Rupees only in 1 tournament

    "Abdul Quadir (67 Test matches during 1977-90 and 236 wickets) was about the only leg spinner going around" - well, except, during his test career, for Terry Jenner, Kerry O'Keefe, Trevor Hohns, Bhagwat Chandrasekhar, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, and slightly later Upul Chandana. And some bloke named Warne who played his first test before 1990.
    The only reasonable inference is that this fellow has been to the Stephen Jones school of click-baiting.

    The leg spinner may have bowled badly because he was becoming ill of course.

    Pakistan's batting performance and fielding was 1 of the ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever seen in test cricket. Absolutely shameful!

    England have made a very dull pitch entertaining, even Ashwin thought it was a certain draw ....as did 99 % of cricket followers !

    • @AgubbiB
      @AgubbiB หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think Pakistan made it entertaining by forgetting how to bowl in flat pitch in Test match and all there bowlers are T20 specialists and play one day domestic format before test match as practice

    Pakistan team is the same as Zimbabwe! I understand England is good. But this same team lost in India 4-1 and in Australia 4-0. Pakistan is truly terrible.
