I've been a vocalist, teacher, and director for decades and, to me, Lucy has an exceptionally rare gift that has merged with a medium at a perfect time in history. "Hallelujah" is a really good song to bring people in; it's heavily-done standard. But listening to some of her other performances is what truly separates her from almost all others. E.g. "Somewhere", ""Never Enough", and "All By Myself", and Eva Cassidy's, "Over the Rainbow." These are all covers, but you can really experience her range and depth with the songs from the to-be-released musical, "Rosie", such as "Beautiful", "Suddenly", "Gentle Breeze", and "Starlight." All done when she was a mere 15 years old. Her ability to just capture everything through her voice and expression is stunning!

But as far as moral standards go, I think that Lucy and Angelina Jordan are cut from the same cloth, and I have no worries about them staying true to their values. I have always like this song, but I would typically get bored with it after about halfway through. But that is when Lucy starts ramping it up and really grabbing my attention. Just when I think she has reached her peak, she totally blasts me away with the most powerful moments and then slowly brings it back down to earth to remind me of how angelic she is. At first, I thought that she was as good as Jennifer Nettles' version (a voice that I absolutely adore), but then I listened to Jennifer's version again and thought, "No, Lucy's tops even Jennifer's !" By far, my favorite rendition of this song, it is truly remarkable.

Every time I hear "Run" by Lucy, "Run" makes my tears "run"! Just extraordinarily beautiful! And almost anything Amira sings makes them run again! Love both these angelic young ladies! Are you familiar also with Laura Bretan? She's also a prodigy (but now 20 years old) who sings opera, Christian, and classical crossover. She's of Romanian descent, but lives in Chicago. As with Amira and Lucy, she is also a beautiful young lady both inside and out; a person of solid, decent values and character.
Very beautiful! She can absolutely sing beyond comparison. Howevjer, after hearing the recent live recording by Emma Kok, it is indeed a perfect fabricated studio production but nothing more. Emma Kok's voice is not as perfect in a live recording, but she really touches your heart with this song❤. Emma does not act, she lives the song. I do look forward to a live performance of Lucy thought!

But since Lucy sang it I’ve listen and compared other versions and the original. I actually dislike this song other than Lucy’s version. It’s now had 40 million views plus 30 million elsewhere, and it’s the best version out there from many, and there is nothing to beat it. Lucy singing this makes it amazing and her technique and control is unbelievable, so for all those reasons it’s a 10. You guys scored very high but shouldn’t mark down because you don’t like the song. It’s a 10! 💯

Lucy Thomas has a beautiful voice and her articulation was clearer than most, but I'm confused. Hallelujah means "Praise the Lord" and you referred to it as a Christmas song, however, the words seemed to convey a confused narrative making nonsense of the song. King David and Bathsheba were mixed with Samson and Delilah as a single event, which went well beyond poetic licence.
You guys are being too tough on her, she was 14 years old, when she sang this song, and is now 20 and a would class singer, that rendition of Hallelujah, got over 60 million views. So you need to do better, you should have given her two 10's.
Obviously a massively talented singer - drowned in kitsch. She could take a lesson from Angelina Jordan about finding people who don't just want to make a quick buck with her.
