You can actually go past the train station on woods! I haven't tried myself, but I watched verybadscav crawl prone along the right side of the train. There was no mines, and the snipers didn't shoot him. He then got to loot the new area, and there were actual loot containers and loose loot out there. I hope it's not a bug because it's super cool. Edit: Okay, so i tried in an offline raid, and the snipers definitely killed me, lol.
It'd be really interesting if you could have a setting to opt out or in of events in PVE mode, as well as the ability to go back and complete past events with the changing of some settings. It'd also be really cool if that gave you like a little side character - like getting a level 20 character with specific stats and gear to complete the zombie event sort of separate from your main account
I dont think that the zombies should just automatically drop with headshots. Players would just bring standard mid-tier ammo and the event would completely lose the charm of everyone running random hobo rounds from the trash bin, which made the occasional PvP fights unique and fun 32:20 Ok Church hovering over the Vz.58 and going "WHAT IS EVEN THIS" was painful. Thats a quite legendary weapon my man.
my favorite loadout for the event was the M60 with 3 mags - 2 full with m80 and 1 with ultra nosler. first m80 mag for potential enemys secondly used the nosler one to clear and refill time by time and the m80 one in the backpack i used if i run into lpayer again (played all event solo and used zagustin every time i traversed to the nexed closed room) no i got like a full thicc weapon case of M60s with elcans and got the first time after 2200h online all colored keycards and was able to find the gpsa and the currrent thing back to back ! :D so far it was a great event :D i guess 79 was the highest kill count in a a streets raid xD
I have played since 2017. Usually 3 months a year. I started out this time a day after Halloween. I hated even at first but then just started doing the even quests and now I’m 32 a week later lol it wasn’t that bad
The stupid zombie event broke LightKeeper tasks. The task line disappeared the day it started and 2 weeks later we still cant progress. Really REALLY lame.
Its my first wipe I've been grinding to get to them this is sad to hear :( I've been pulling my hair out trying to do the setup, should I not bother if its broke?
waaaait a minute - why the hell do i have to go on ground zero again and locate the both stationary weapons and kill 5 targets xD also i got postman pat part 1 and part 2 and tehre is at least 1 infected quest still in the quest tab while i am far doqn on all questlines xD
The event in concept was great but once again the implementation was terrible. Janky Day Z zombies really ruined the gunplay and the zombie escalation mechanic prevented downtime for meds and ammo repack. Every raid mechanic in Tarkov demands a time to restock and rearm. The zombie mechanic really forced people to spend ammo and then extract. Overall it was good but BSG need to look at how difficult that want to make these events. In my opinion it was too hard. I completed it but it wasn’t worth it honestly. BSG seems to spending a lot of resources to appeal to a very small portion of the player base and I don’t think that’s a good business strategy in the long term.

Scav Talk is the only positive thing about Mondays

The Christmas Tree dancing scavs was my first wipe, I remember farming dorms at night and being terrified of them.
