It's like JLK said in the video while talking with the others. The game is so tryhard and people are playing like total sweatlords. It's really hard to pull this type of thing off in a regular server, it takes a dedicated amount of effort or maybe even a little help from the server's admins and mods to nudge other players to attempt to RP if they even cared. Otherwise find a well moderated RP server.
I tryed to approach their base 3 times and I got executed. 4th was the charm. Nothing is easy but we needed to know what this base was and Who was in it 🙂

His biggest mistake was announcing to the DAD clan of the attack. I have a theory that that is the reason the Polish groups base were so heavily defended with additional doors because that damn POS Polish group warned them of the attack. 😡😡😡😡

I had a friend in the D.A.D clan and he told me that they planned setting up the polish clan just so they can make you guys raid them and once you guys were weakened they would raid you honestly glad to see you guys come on top

Words cannot describe how truly spectacular this storyline was. The prologue, introductions, tensions rising, the epic fight all to the shocking climax of it all with a truly gut wrenching backstab, leading to the one last great war to finally become victorious. Even a somber epilogue with one last shock that left me feeling complete with the story with such a fitting end of it all for our protagonist and the city. I know my comment will get lost somewhere throughout the comment section, but JLK, you have absolutely outdone yourself with this video, your hard work and effort truly paid off in the end and kept me hooked for the entire 2+ hours of literal hollywood magic. Even more than hollywood for that matter, as I found myself more enthralled than watching a regular movie. Seriously, pat yourself on the back and take a nice little vacation after putting in all this hard work and effort, you have outclassed any other movie I have seen and deserve an award for this masterpiece of a story.

Those two movies inspired the last almost 6k hours of DayZ for me personally. Still haven't got to frag out for JLK but maybe one day lol. Can confirm this definitely rivals and dare I say is better then even those movies. An absolute work of art as always!

I honestly never watch youtube, but somehow ended up here and watched this all the way through regardless of the time because I was gripped and had to see it through. Finally decided to give dayz a go as well after watching your videos religiously for several years. The hardcore survival aspect always seemed too daunting for me to engage in, since I thought I would be too bad to survive or won’t even put up a good fight to begin with. But let me tell you, 20 hours in and I’m absolutely hooked. I’ve never experienced the nerves in any other game as like in dayz. The fear when you’re on a loot run for hours and randomly run into a hostile player, it is truly unique. Just trying some death match servers now to improve my game and get more comfortable with pvp. Hopefully I run into you one day, that would be insane. If any other new players want to team up and learn the game together shoot me a message, I’m playing on the loaded EU servers!

Secondly we didn't counter raid anything, some of us were just in the area at the time and wanted some action. I was one of the guys killed in green gear (the 2nd one dying during the first fight). Actually we were not from the bridge group but from the tower near military next to Radunin. There were 2 completely unrelated Polish clans on the server.
Your knack for storytelling with captivating gameplay is elite tier. I was engaged in the story the whole 2+ hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Amazing work. Can't wait to see the next adventure .

This gave me complete nostagia from 3 or 4 years ago vs the red armband villain group, the faster paced quick 45 - an hour vids weren't doing it for me, but with this banger of 2 hours, with the story telling and long explanations, the lore and the small things, from farmer to freshie, and geared to gunho this is the type of story that I support the channel for and is one of the reasons I fell in love with the game. This was the best video I've seen from JLK. From the storytelling, to the action, pvp, building up an entire camp with so many people and then the plot twist and the raids. Everything was just the way it was supposed to be, I don't even know when 2 and half hours passed. Just magnificent. JLK, I come from the Role Play community. I used to roll with all the content guys. I was looking at getting back into DayZ. The TwitchRP community used to run the RedZone DayZ server. It was exactly what you described as community based DayZ. It can work, has worked, and I would be happy to walk your team through that and what we did. It takes DayZ to a whole new level. I only recently found this channel as I was seeing what's new in the game.
I've watched a lot of survival style videos, ranging from original DayZ mod of Arma 3 to Willjum on Rust, and now Xclusion and JLK on DayZ. This is by far and away the craziest survival story I've seen. Its so hard to get 20 randoms working together towards a common goal in a random survival server, that alone is amazing, but the fact that you also took out the biggest clan in the server was insane! Such good content, you've definitely got me subscribed.
Got goosebumps all over after watching the final scene. Such a great movie. Very well done. You are the best in the niche of Dayz edited Movie makers❤❤
Before downloading or investing any time or money in a any game, I take the time to watch various videos about a game, to see if I think I may like it or not. For DayZ, I have seen MANY videos. Of all of them, I seem to gravitate towards videos made by JLK. Thank you JLK for making this game fun. Of all the videos I have seen, I have discovered, "Proper base construction," is not the most important thing, if you want to avoid being raided. In another of JLKs videos, he and 2 friends went unraided without actually building a base, via the use of a big truck, as a "mobile base." What I saw in that video leads me to the most important thing I discovered, on how not to NEVER get raided - even if you are poor at base design. You cannot raid a base, if you cannot find the base! Been playing about 18 months. Thanks to JLK - and a few other videos I have seen - I've NEVER been raided. Here's how... Please note, I will not tell you where I locate my bases. It would be just my luck someone on my server is reading this. 1) From the start, your only concern is making money. All goods, gear, weapons, etc., are only what you can carry. 2) Carefully hide a quick storage spot somewhere not far from the merchant. Another emergency storage will be close to where you are working (the reason for this will become obvious soon) NOTE: It is very likely you may end up with several storage locations. 3) Grab everything you can and sell it. Keep only the things you desire. After each sale, visit your storage and "bank" your money. It royally sucks to build up 30K, only to get shot and looted! 4) There is always a fear you will be killed and looted... hence the storage spots. Visit the Merchant often, sell enough to make enough money to get a cheap (covered) vehicle. NOTE: Quads offer no protecting from enemies as you try to drive away. 5) While you have your 1st vehicle, you can now EASILY and QUICKLY explore the map. Please note, the process of acquiring a vehicle can be skipped if you are okay doing it all on foot. But on foot, it can be a royal pain in the back side! You are scouting for unlikely trafficked locations, where you can plant a flag and still never be seen... Even if your enemy is only steps away from your base. These places are hard to find, but they do exist. Unfortunately, the best/safest places are the ones furthest from the action. Please note, what may appear to be an ideal spot, but is routinely patrolled by everyone on the server... that just may be a really bad idea. Then again, it could be a challenge, "How long can I go undetected in the heart of Grand Central Station!?" Yet, travel to remote places offers far more safety and piece of mind... which is another reason for a few different hidden storage chests and the significance of having a vehicle! I have found a couple locations, but my favorite I found by accident. I fell into a hole! After falling into this hole, I discovered I was at least 3 stories down and could not get out. Luckily, I had just enough material to make a few roof tiles. A single wall, add a roof, another roof to that, another to that, etc., and created myself a ramp to get out. No sooner had I escaped, I immediately knew this was the PERFECT base location! Let's just say the top of the flag was well below view. In the last 18 months, I have never been raided. Fair warning: If you even THINK there is even the most remote chance you are being followed/tracked, NEVER go directly back to your base, until you are 100% certain you are free and clear. It's better to get killed and looted with what you have now, than lose everything later. A common mistake most people make is leading enemies right to their base. Or, allowing enemies to know the base's direction. You make a raid and retreat in the same direction every time? Hmm... I wonder which direction your base is located? In a car, you can take off anywhere and circle around later. No one can chase you. Shooting you is very unlikely (as long as you're not just sitting in one spot). I see a number of tree house bases. They are cool. They provide a great ranged defense and allow you to see attacks coming from a long distance. But they are fairly easy to spot at a distance, make for quick offline raids and are too easy to camp when you are home. HOWEVER, if you can find a very dense forest, where tree cover truly does hide your presence, it is worth considering... Just remember, quality is better than quantity when building a tree house. The bigger the three house, the easier it is to spot! Also make sure the tree's foliage FULLY hides your flag. I occasionally do create a tree house base. My flag is fully covered by foliage and a nearby fallen tree (set at about a 45 degree angle) makes for the perfect ramp to get me about 1/2 way up to my tree base. Thanks to this fallen tree, any need for a ladder or stairs is not needed until 1/2 way up. Hence, you could be standing right under that base and - unless you looked up - you would see absolutely no signs anyone or anything have even been there. Underground, under water, trees, buildings, bridges... there are several places you can build and hide a base. I once hid one - as an experiment - in a bell tower! That one has yet to have been found! Use your imagination. Just remember, the key is simple: If you are standing 5 feet away from your base and still cannot see any trace of it, you are doing great! Please forgive the extreme length of this post. I hope I helped someone. Good luck and have fun!

I was going back to base to get a car to pick up my only other teammate who logged off as a freshy at spawn. As I got back to the base I heard all the raidsaws

There is no one in the base logged on or off. It's just me, I GL into the courtyard and check my kills. I went from 0 to 12. I was freaking off bro hahaha The guy who killed me annoyed me, I heard him coming and pre-aimed him coming around the corner, but typical dayz desync occured and I died to the guy i just lit up I was shaking ha
I normally stay away from servers with maps, player markers, stamina, or any game changing mods. However, this was amazing. This would be a BEAST to do on pure vanilla and IMPOSSIBLE to do on official. I think this should be in the DayZ Hall Of Fame 100%. Well done 👍🏽
Such an enjoyable movie! I often have difficulties with paying attention but this was so captivating and entertaining that I was fully invested in the story. I didn't have any part in the gameplay, but even I feel like I will miss the lore of The City. Hoping there will be more of these long form videos/movies with intense stories in the future! Finally decided to give dayz a go as well after watching your videos religiously for several years. The hardcore survival aspect always seemed too daunting for me to engage in, since I thought I would be too bad to survive or won’t even put up a good fight to begin with.
But let me tell you, 20 hours in and I’m absolutely hooked. I’ve never experienced the nerves in any other game as like in dayz. The fear when you’re on a loot run for hours and randomly run into a hostile player, it is truly unique.
Just trying some death match servers now to improve my game and get more comfortable with pvp.
Hopefully I run into you one day, that would be insane. If any other new players want to team up and learn the game together shoot me a message, I’m playing on the loaded EU servers!

First off the Swedish guy never told us anything, he was just interacting with groups he was finding on his travels. He never intended to set up anyone.
Secondly we didn't counter raid anything, some of us were just in the area at the time and wanted some action. They didn't know who was raiding who, they didn't know anything about interacting with JLK's group or anything like that

I was one of the guys killed in green gear (the 2nd one dying during the first fight). Actually we were not from the bridge group but from the tower near military next to Radunin. There were 2 completely unrelated Polish clans on the server.

This gave me complete nostagia from 3 or 4 years ago vs the red armband villain group, the faster paced quick 45 - an hour vids weren't doing it for me, but with this banger of 2 hours, with the story telling and long explanations, the lore and the small things, from farmer to freshie, and geared to gunho this is the type of story that I support the channel for and is one of the reasons I fell in love with the game. This was the best video I've seen from JLK. From the storytelling, to the action, pvp, building up an entire camp with so many people and then the plot twist and the raids. Everything was just the way it was supposed to be, I don't even know when 2 and half hours passed. Just magnificent. This type of videos is what inspired me to do the same, I can only wish to pull of a quarter of something like this. Thank you for this masterpiece, JLK!

JLK, I come from the Role Play community. I used to roll with all the content guys. I was looking at getting back into DayZ. The TwitchRP community used to run the RedZone DayZ server. It was exactly what you described as community based DayZ. It can work, has worked, and I would be happy to walk your team through that and what we did. It takes DayZ to a whole new level. I only recently found this channel as I was seeing what's new in the game.
I've watched a lot of survival style videos, ranging from original DayZ mod of Arma 3 to Willjum on Rust, and now Xclusion and JLK on DayZ. This is by far and away the craziest survival story I've seen. Its so hard to get 20 randoms working together towards a common goal in a random survival server, that alone is amazing, but the fact that you also took out the biggest clan in the server was insane! Such good content, you've definitely got me subscribed.
Was fun having a run with you mate, hopefully the next one is soon!

Before downloading or investing any time or money in a any game, I take the time to watch various videos about a game, to see if I think I may like it or not. For DayZ, I have seen MANY videos. Of all of them, I seem to gravitate towards videos made by JLK. Thank you JLK for making this game fun.
Of all the videos I have seen, I have discovered, "Proper base construction," is not the most important thing, if you want to avoid being raided. In another of JLKs videos, he and 2 friends went unraided without actually building a base, via the use of a big truck, as a "mobile base." What I saw in that video leads me to the most important thing I discovered, on how not to NEVER get raided - even if you are poor at base design.
You cannot raid a base, if you cannot find the base!
Been playing about 18 months. Thanks to JLK - and a few other videos I have seen - I've NEVER been raided. Here's how...
Please note, I will not tell you where I locate my bases. It would be just my luck someone on my server is reading this.
1) From the start, your only concern is making money. All goods, gear, weapons, etc., are only what you can carry.
2) Carefully hide a quick storage spot somewhere not far from the merchant. Another emergency storage will be close to where you are working (the reason for this will become obvious soon) NOTE: It is very likely you may end up with several storage locations.
3) Grab everything you can and sell it. Keep only the things you desire. After each sale, visit your storage and "bank" your money. It royally sucks to build up 30K, only to get shot and looted!
4) There is always a fear you will be killed and looted... hence the storage spots. Visit the Merchant often, sell enough to make enough money to get a cheap (covered) vehicle. NOTE: Quads offer no protecting from enemies as you try to drive away.
5) While you have your 1st vehicle, you can now EASILY and QUICKLY explore the map. Please note, the process of acquiring a vehicle can be skipped if you are okay doing it all on foot. But on foot, it can be a royal pain in the back side! You are scouting for unlikely trafficked locations, where you can plant a flag and still never be seen... Even if your enemy is only steps away from your base. These places are hard to find, but they do exist. Unfortunately, the best/safest places are the ones furthest from the action. Please note, what may appear to be an ideal spot, but is routinely patrolled by everyone on the server... that just may be a really bad idea. Then again, it could be a challenge, "How long can I go undetected in the heart of Grand Central Station!?" Yet, travel to remote places offers far more safety and piece of mind... which is another reason for a few different hidden storage chests and the significance of having a vehicle!
I have found a couple locations, but my favorite I found by accident. I fell into a hole! After falling into this hole, I discovered I was at least 3 stories down and could not get out. Luckily, I had just enough material to make a few roof tiles. A single wall, add a roof, another roof to that, another to that, etc., and created myself a ramp to get out. No sooner had I escaped, I immediately knew this was the PERFECT base location! Let's just say the top of the flag was well below view. In the last 18 months, I have never been raided.
Fair warning: If you even THINK there is even the most remote chance you are being followed/tracked, NEVER go directly back to your base, until you are 100% certain you are free and clear. It's better to get killed and looted with what you have now, than lose everything later. A common mistake most people make is leading enemies right to their base. Or, allowing enemies to know the base's direction. You make a raid and retreat in the same direction every time? Hmm... I wonder which direction your base is located? In a car, you can take off anywhere and circle around later. No one can chase you. Shooting you is very unlikely (as long as you're not just sitting in one spot).
I see a number of tree house bases. They are cool. They provide a great ranged defense and allow you to see attacks coming from a long distance. But they are fairly easy to spot at a distance, make for quick offline raids and are too easy to camp when you are home. HOWEVER, if you can find a very dense forest, where tree cover truly does hide your presence, it is worth considering... Just remember, quality is better than quantity when building a tree house. The bigger the three house, the easier it is to spot! Also make sure the tree's foliage FULLY hides your flag.
I occasionally do create a tree house base. My flag is fully covered by foliage and a nearby fallen tree (set at about a 45 degree angle) makes for the perfect ramp to get me about 1/2 way up to my tree base. Thanks to this fallen tree, any need for a ladder or stairs is not needed until 1/2 way up. Hence, you could be standing right under that base and - unless you looked up - you would see absolutely no signs anyone or anything have even been there.
Underground, under water, trees, buildings, bridges... there are several places you can build and hide a base. I once hid one - as an experiment - in a bell tower! That one has yet to have been found! Use your imagination. Just remember, the key is simple: If you are standing 5 feet away from your base and still cannot see any trace of it, you are doing great!
Please forgive the extreme length of this post. I hope I helped someone.

Such an enjoyable movie! I often have difficulties with paying attention but this was so captivating and entertaining that I was fully invested in the story. I didn't have any part in the gameplay, but even I feel like I will miss the lore of The City. Hoping there will be more of these long form videos/movies with intense stories in the future!
