Curtis 'Takahata101' Arnott (the guy who voiced Deadpool for the Deathbattle videos) is the voice of Nappa from DBZ Abridged. His work on Abridged and in voicing for popular youtube series has made him known enough that he even did a Nappa voicepack in a few DBZ games (Human voice Number 4 in Xenoverse is the one I know). If you think about it, he's a good VA. When Bandai-Namco made XenoVerse, they even allowed him to record a special 'Hey. Vegeta.' for when you listen to his preview voice lines.
So, I'm sure you've seen the comments taking about how Deadpool is played by Curtis Arnott, the voice of Super Kami Guru, Nappa, and another character you'll meet very soon in Dragon Ball Z Abridged, but there's actually one level deeper that it goes. Curtis also plays the character of Bardock in DBZA, and the line "No, none of that. Shame on you" is a direct quote of the special, Episode of Bardock Abridged. While watching this video I realized something: In the penultimate episode of MLP FIM, pinkie gets a hold of a magical object, that has within it, the accumulated magic power of three very powerful people in the show. Two, who’s very jobs are the moving of the sun and the moon. And the third being. Is a creature of pure chaos, able to create anything he wants with a snap of his fingers. Pinkie had access to all of it. It may have been for a extremely brief time. But if they used that as a resource in a rematch for death battle. Pinkie pie would have the power to go toe to toe with The Mask.
I got into MLP g4 because of a clan of Bronies i played against on Starcraft 2. The ending for this one pissed off so many people that hate MLP because the pony wasnt killed horribly.
i think the episode actually got released on the date that Deadpool issue number 1 was released. i don't know, actually. but it's something like that. :)
Love this one it’s the most underrated of the Deadpool battles probably cause it doesn’t have a proper death. I suggest samurai Jack & Afro Samurai or Godzilla vs Gamera next

Word of advice to any writers be VERY careful with a character who sees past the fourth wall my brother and I are writing a couple of books and we decided one of his characters could see the reader and things got out of control pretty quickly
During this time, a lot of reactors hated this Death Battle because it ended with a Draw. DB rarely gets Draws and for it to be a gag joke of a fight. People were not happy about this but I still say this is one of my favorite Death Battles because I give props to the crew for going Meta with this. Because that’s what especially both of these characters do in there show/story. Especially when it comes to the Merc with the Mouth. Plus DP is my favorite Marvel character so anything he is in I love it lol
If this was a serious death battle then it ending with a draw would be bad. But it was very in line with their characters so for us it totally worked 🙂
I like this episode and idk why it's so unpopular among a lot of other DB fans. It's usually rated as the worst season finale, but honestly, season finales are where rule breaking should be played with, so it worked fine for me. Way better than their frickin Pokemon vs Digimon episode anyway, which fundamentally misrepresented what trainers even *are*. At least here they understood the characters and series they're from.
I would think that Pinkie Pie won. After all, she did succeed in making Deadpool happy even though in the beginning, he clearly didn't want it. I would also argue that Deadpool likewise lost because what good is an assassin that fails to assassinate his target? The only thing really different in this Death Battle is that the battle really could not end in a death, so Pinkie Pie should be judged by a different criteria. She's not into the idea of intentionally hurting or killing anyone for any reason so she wouldn't be "up to the task" to use truly lethal force. At least with Deadpool vs. the Mask, both combatants possessed a definite mean streak within themselves, so it really *had* to be a battle to the death.
This was a very interesting Season Finale Matchup. Honestly, I never thought of Pinkie Pie as that much of Fourth-Wall Breaker, but I can understand why people could get that prescription of her, after all there were some 4th Wall Breaking in her Show at times, but still, i have personally only really seen her Break the Fourth Wall in Fan-Content, Though I am up for being corrected about that.

As some one who used to have a negative opinion of bronys to put it nicely, I strongly suggest watching mlp g4. Completely changed my view on a lot of things and was surprisingly enjoyable.
