Fun fact, when Gravity Falls had finally finished, Alex Hirsch (best known for making the show and voicing way too many characters) had created a real statue of bill cipher, with co-ordinates hidden in the final episode, it was a crazy fun mystery for everyone to solve, also fun fact, Bill Cipher statue was confiscated once by the police, so now you can imagine the almighty being of weirdness being arrested by the police.
It took place around the world, and the statue wasn't moved by police but one of the clues had to be moved out of a building to a different one in Russia I think.

But that didn't matter. Killing Bill was secondary, so long as he could distract him long enough to get him out of their dimension and back into the Nightmare Realm, he had alredy won in his own way. Its a great way to have both characters "win" without making either seem weak. Bill killed Discord, sure, but Discord got the last laugh. Overall, this is arguibly the best Death Battle *ever*

You could actually view Discord's initial canon appearance in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as showing both the benefits and weaknesses of being fourth-wall aware. From that perspective, he deliberately played his first episode with the realization that as a major antagonist in a children's show he was guaranteed to end up losing and imprisoned again... but the combination of spending the entire episode being engaging, entertaining, and doing no permanent harm (this makes sense: if you think of chaos as the potential for a greater variety of futures, killing just doesn't fit the theme) also guaranteed he'd be written back into the show in time and become a recurring and eventually beloved - or at least tolerated - character.

Bill may have won the Battle, but Discord won the War. Discord outplayed, outsmarted, and banished Bill without that Dorito Chip even noticing anything happening before it was too late. With as big of an Ego that Bill has, Discord getting the final laugh would hurt a lot more.

Really the only way discord could’ve won for this commonly sad thing “ Bill may have won the battle but discord won the war” is that he got lucky enough to banish Bill back to the nightmare realm right as it was collapsing, because it is stated that due to the lack of any laws of physics and how weird the place is it will eventually collapse, but it’s never stated when it could take another day or it could take trillions upon trillions of years he was there for a few trillion years. He could wait few more.
I really like how both Bill Cipher & Discord won & lost at the same time. Where Discord sacrificed himself to save his friends while trapping Bill in his Nightmare Realm Home and show Bill was a Fool. Even tho Discord was dying, all he did then was just laugh at Bill's face for being a fool. Bill lost his chance to take over Ponyville and was too focus on Discord since he know Discord can threaten him. And Bill was SO PISSED about the fact he still lost even tho he won the DEATH BATTLE. Discord got the last laugh at Bill. But They will eventually come back since Discord is Chaos Incarnate, his spirit will reform itself again later and Bill will eventually escape the nightmare realm and will try to take over Ponyville or somewhere else.
@@fmtkingofrejects6480Except he's the embodiment of chaos. Similar to Cosmo who's the embodiment of malice, as long as chaos exists, then so should he. The only time he seemed capable of being fully erased was when he went against his nature. Even the black boxes in the video states that it is possible for Discord to return, but the time it'll take is unknown and it's unlikely for him to come back in time to continue the fight.
Glad you guys enjoyed this fight! The power-briefings beforehand on this one was also probably one of the best in the series! You guys noticed it early, but I just want to gush about how much I love that Bill and Discord were basically beefing in the descriptions of each other. Such good touch for 4th-wall-manipulators! And I don't know if either of you are familiar with Cole McGrath or Alex Mercer, but some of us long-time death battle fans have wanted that matchup for *years!* Infamous and Prototype were pretty big IP's back in the days of the PS3 era, and getting to see those two duke it out has been a long time coming!
As an ex-Brony, I was 100% behind Discord. And even though he lost, that he could seal back Cipher and save the world is a noble ending that sadly not a lot of characters get in this show.
I think this one was my favorite. The fight itself was great, no clear advantage, animation was great and Brandon Yates hits us with another great song. Everything was just great.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for this reaction. I went into this episode of Death Battle not expecting much, as I didn't know much about either character, but hoooooboy am I glad to be wrong. This turned into being one of my favorite episodes they've ever done. There are SO. MANY. REFERENCES. To other things in it that you can watch it several times and still not even see them all.
This Fight might just have the BEST ending of the season I would DARE say. Overall this was Another BANGER EPISODE, can’t what to see what the rest of the season offers.
Gravity falls is a show everyone should watch with their kids. I was shocked at how much I loved it. Bill Cypher was an awesome character. "Here kid, have some deer teeth!"
My little pony friendship is magic was a very popular show a decade ago. It lasted for 9 seasons and had a lot of guest actors like Weird Al and William Shatner. It lasted 9 mostly 22-episode long seasons had a theatrical movie and 4 tv movies.
This is easily in my Top 3 Death Battles, for it's stellar animation, great music, performances for the characters, fun moments like the puppets, and Amazing conclusion to tbe Battle with Bill winning the Matchup but Discord getting the last laugh saving his friends and home from Bill trapping him back in the nightmare realm
To be fair, everyone underestimates discord. He was never really a villain. He's based on Q, who's always finding underhanded and morally ambiguous ways to help the humans. Isn't it funny that Discord's first reign just happened to push the sisters to find the elements of harmony right before they needed them for nightmare moon? And then he "was tricked" just in time to give Twilight the last key to unlock the rainbow of light. And then was "tricked" again in a scheme that resulted in equestria uniting and all of its unreformed enemies being stoned. Ladies and gentlemen... Discord has never really lost. Only pretended to lose.

Given their nature, maybe not in battle, but Discord actually won the war - killing in the video/series/comics cannot kill him. He knows that he is a character from a children's show, he knows who Bill is, just like he knows everything else about our world and our work - he literally said that he knew how Bill would die, while Bill still did not fully understand what was happening. Considering how many times Discord just acted out his role, pretending to be weak, sick, etc... and his abilities (clones, time control, etc.), I'm not even sure he actually died in the video
gravity falls is possibly one of disney's greatest shows they ever made it has so much crazy good lore its almost criminal that it only lasted like 3 or 4 seasons. it was that popular the writer and director made an irl global treasure hunt where the final discovery is a stature of bill cypher which has now been moved and nailed to a tree in a park to stop people from taking it. the writer is also good friends with the rick and morty creators so its a similar kind of humour and style but child friendly. matpat's done a few gravity falls vids on film theory if u r interested in them
Discord had his best showing as an antagonist, which didn't last long since efforts to reform him started the next season. 'The Return of Harmony' was originally supposed to be the TV special to end the series, but it got turned into the season 2 premiere when Hasbro realized they had an audience with a disposable income. _FiM_ ended up lasting for nine seasons, and has several TV specials, some side story movies, and a feature movie, along with comics, manga, and of course, toys. Odd to say about a show originally intended as family entertainment, but there are some pretty dark episodes. If you're at all curious, the season 2 episode 'Lesson Zero' gives a pretty good idea of the kinds of things they do without spoiling anything, and it also reintroduces the characters pretty well, without needing to be a two-parter. And if you want to see a smack-down fight (although it doesn't resolve the situation), you should still be able to find the clip of 'Twilight Sparkle vs Tirek' somewhere on here.

Cool detail about this battle. When they first start talking about Bill Cipher you see his real name is just a bunch of random letters and static. If you go frame by frame you'll find that each sequence of letters isn't random. They are all anagrams of different youtube channels that react to Death Battle. I'm not sure if there is a full list of each reactor name that was included, but it's entirely possible that you might have been included too.
I like this Death Battle, especially with how Discord still loses the Battle but dies a Hero. Next one is another one that was decided by the public. By the way, if you want wacky, you should do Chuck Norris vs Segata Sanshiro at some point.
I may not agree with the result, But this episode is one of the best of the series, The music, the fight, the analysis, The jokes, everything is well done, And also, the references to his own fanbase is a very nice detail
I’m a fan of both shows. Bill won and lost, but Discord won and lost a whole lot worse in my opinion. Bill doesn’t really care what universe he invades and even though he hates the outcome he got and that he’s stuck in the Nightmare Realm for the time being, he can just trick someone else in another universe in the expanse of the Multiverse. That’s why he went from PISSED TO THE EXTREME to shrugging it off. Equestria is just another place that he doesn’t really care about aside from making it his own place to wreck and it can be replaced. Discord, however, won’t be coming back for a while. Where there’s chaos, there’s Discord... But when exactly is he going to return? It could be a few days, a few months, a few years, a few decades... Or a few *centuries.* By then, Fluttershy could be dead along with all of his friends. He saved them all, but when he comes back, there’s a really good chance he’s going to come back to see that everyone he cared about is dead, which to him is even worse than death. He saved the ponies, but unless the return time is nice to him, he’ll be devastated when he comes back.
I’m not really a MLP person, but gravity Falls was such a good show. Bill cipher is such a frightening villain i’m honestly surprised with half of the stuff he did in the show he was allowed to be in a kid show killing characters left and right, the substantial amount of body horror was great
if you guys haven't seen either of these shows you should they are both great. gravity falls is a great mystery adventure show [i would go more in-depth with the themes but its best experienced yourself.] and mlp is.....well lets just say their is a reason it struck a cord with so many OLDER males. the best way i've been able to describe it is "its a kids show that has dbz styled fights with story telling meant for adults" it takes its audience very seriously post season 3 and yeah there are some jokey episodes but so are there some in gravity falls or adventure time, doesn't mean they aren't good shows. if you can get over the "stigma about bronys" or "it being a kids show" you'll find out this show is just as good as anything you'd find in Disney's 90's catalog.
Pretty fun, chaotic fight. Never interested in either show, so it was a spectacle for me. But the next fight I had more stock in, since I’ve played Infamous 1 & 2. And I’ve heard about Prototypoe during their rivalry in the early 2000’s. So I was rooting for Cole in that fight. And I was very entertained with how they did it.
The funny thing is due too death battle rules Bill won the battle but discord ultimately won too he saved his friends and discord didn’t really die he will come back too life but it’ll take a long time so mlp fans don’t think of this as a real lose for discord that being said I would love too see u guys watch gravity falls and my little pony both shows are two of the best modern cartoons ever
My Little Pony is definitively worth checking out. It does suffer a little bit from the mentality of it being a "little children's show" where some of the filler episodes are a little vapid, but for the most part it's a solid show. But even at worst, it's still entirely harmless and often cute enough, so it's not really that bad.
Tbh, when i first watch the death battle, i honestly thought that discord won by trapping bill in his 4th dimension and using a clone to trick him lol. Now i see bill had killed discord but discord had trapped bill in the 4th dimension again as one final middle finger 🖕🏾
I'm okay with the ending, but it's still a little weird that a being weak to unicorn hair won against a being living in a country that is like 1/3 unicorn.
Funfact: They did get this one wrong, and even they mentioned it in their own video when they said Discord will come back to life on his own eventually. Discord has more power than what they displayed and they oversold Bill. Still a good fight visually, so I still liked it. I've stopped getting annoyed when they get things wrong.

This spoils things a bit so it wouldn't be as good as going in blind, but Gravity Falls is definitely worth watching. (MLP as well, but it's longer and has more misses as a result.)
I'm still disappointed how DB decided that mere demon triangle can be superior than the incarnation of the chaos itself. Beside the fact that all that Bill do will give Discord more power.

Moreover, in the show Discord tells the Mane6 that he going after Tirek, BUT before that Discord literally gave the Mane6 in the hooves macguffin, instructed them, and in the end became the last part of it by giving Tirek to take his powers! So who was fooled in the end is a biiiiiiig question. Also Bill have a weakness to the unicorn hair. And where unicorns are common? Oh, wait... In Equestria!:"D

I'm thinking the same I did with Steven from Star Butterfly vs Steven Universe: As great as the fight was, there existed the possibility that it would have been even more awesome. Transformations are the key word. The fights would have been so much more dramatic and ingenious if Steven had used his "Pink Status" and might have lost anyway, but he would have played his last trump card. A triumphant triumph if he had tried to fight as a gigantic monster lizard against Star's magical superiority and had perished fighting. The same goes for Bill. Wouldn't you have found it perfect if Bill had completely freaked out, transformed into his monstrous pyramid form with the multiple eyes and arms. Then he probably would have broken Discord down into its molecules, just as he threatened the mystery twins to do. Only here would we have seen what he meant by that. What do you mean? If this perfect death battle hadn't been even more perfect, Bill would have taken on his most terrifying form?

The fight was amazing, but going by actual canon info on Discord, they did him VERY dirty here. Discord has defeated foes of his own power level with his own exact power set with EASE, and unlike Bill, he can break through dimensional barriers like it’s nothing. So he’s really above Bill by a significant margin even when you don’t factor in that he’s beaten foes like Bill before with ease. Not to mention, they claim he wouldn’t take Bill seriously but they show Fluttershy in danger. Fluttershy is his first friend who he loves dearly, and when she’s in danger he has been shown to toss his carefree nature out the window. If anything would make him take it seriously, it’s their exact scenario. Not to mention, Discord is empowered by Chaos and they make the fight end in the Nightmare Dimension, a realm of pure chaos. Discord would be basically invincible in there. And on top of that, Weirdmaggedon ends as soon as they enter it (which they show there at the end) so Bill would not be getting his power boost from Weirdmaggedon anymore. Discord, by all canon information about him, should have DESTROYED Bill. Yeah, he would 100% have played with him, but not to the point he would have lost.
You're talking about Canon power when ignoring Bill's Canon power? Bill has also defeated beings supposedly on his own level. I'd respect your opinion if you bothered to actually give any evidence that Discord kills Bill. Additionally, you got his powers wrong. He is empowered by Chaos, yes. But it is Chaos caused by himself. Spill over everyone's coffee? Chaos. He destroys a building? He gets more powerful. A castle? More power. A TOWN? More power. HE has to cause the Chaos otherwise he gets nothing.

We also have no evidence the beings he does kill are on his own exact level (the most we ever get confirming Time Baby's power level is how everyone seems to revere and fear him in the future). We also get confirmation that while, yes, Bill's power increases during Weirdmaggedon, he, again, cannot even start it without someone opening the way between dimensions for him. Meanwhile with Discord, he can go between dimensions with ease, has been confirmed to defeat enemies on his level before without effort (as well as having one of those enemies basically confirm he can't truly die. He is a force of nature, even if you destroy his spirit he will return, which thankfully DB does acknowledge), and the only times we even see Discord TAKE DAMAGE is when he baits someone to do it (like with Starlight) or when he has his powers drained. The only time we even see him comes close to dying is when he almost erased himself by denying his nature. Bill is insanely powerful. Yes, this is true, but we never get any actual confirmed evidence of him fighting beings on his own exact power level (again, Time Baby was never confirmed to be as powerful as Bill. In fact, being one-shotted kinda confirms he isn't). But Discord achieves feats that Bill needs help to achieve, and unlike Discord, Bill takes damage from people significantly weaker than him (without him letting them do it for a gag or something), and despite Bill's claims of having no weakness, he repeatedly has his eye destroyed (which he himself says takes forever to regenerate, something they didn't keep to in the fight), and on top of that, Stan managed to keep a BOOSTED BY WEIRDMAGGEDON BILL trapped in his mind while it was erased. Bill is clearly not as powerful as they claim he is in his spirit form. Not to mention, as I said, Discord is empowered by chaos. Weirdmaggedon would be like attaching him to a battery. Everything Bill did would be like attaching even more batteries to him. Having him enter the NIGHTMARE DIMENSION would be like hooking him up to a NUCLEAR REACTOR. It's a dimension of PURE CHAOS. everything they put in their scenario would only have made Discord infinitely stronger, with that strength rising EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF THE FIGHT. So even if we humor them and say Bill was stronger at first, he wouldn't be by the end. Especially since Weirdmaggedon ended the second they entered the Nightmare Dimension. And their claim Discord wouldn't take him seriously is ridiculous given they put FLUTTERSHY IN DANGER. That is his first and best friend. Putting her at Bill's mercy would make him take the fight seriously.

Discord outplayed, outsmarted, and banished Bill without that Dorito Chip even noticing anything happening before it was too late.
With as big of an Ego that Bill has, Discord getting the final laugh would hurt a lot more.

Really the only way discord could’ve won for this commonly sad thing “ Bill may have won the battle but discord won the war” is that he got lucky enough to banish Bill back to the nightmare realm right as it was collapsing, because it is stated that due to the lack of any laws of physics and how weird the place is it will eventually collapse, but it’s never stated when it could take another day or it could take trillions upon trillions of years he was there for a few trillion years. He could wait few more.
I really like how both Bill Cipher & Discord won & lost at the same time. Where Discord sacrificed himself to save his friends while trapping Bill in his Nightmare Realm Home and show Bill was a Fool. Even tho Discord was dying, all he did then was just laugh at Bill's face for being a fool.
Bill lost his chance to take over Ponyville and was too focus on Discord since he know Discord can threaten him. And Bill was SO PISSED about the fact he still lost even tho he won the DEATH BATTLE.
Discord got the last laugh at Bill. But They will eventually come back since Discord is Chaos Incarnate, his spirit will reform itself again later and Bill will eventually escape the nightmare realm and will try to take over Ponyville or somewhere else.
He should try taking over an alternate universe that doesn't have Discord in it.

@@fmtkingofrejects6480Except he's the embodiment of chaos. Similar to Cosmo who's the embodiment of malice, as long as chaos exists, then so should he. The only time he seemed capable of being fully erased was when he went against his nature. Even the black boxes in the video states that it is possible for Discord to return, but the time it'll take is unknown and it's unlikely for him to come back in time to continue the fight.
Glad you guys enjoyed this fight! The power-briefings beforehand on this one was also probably one of the best in the series! You guys noticed it early, but I just want to gush about how much I love that Bill and Discord were basically beefing in the descriptions of each other. Such good touch for 4th-wall-manipulators!
And I don't know if either of you are familiar with Cole McGrath or Alex Mercer, but some of us long-time death battle fans have wanted that matchup for *years!* Infamous and Prototype were pretty big IP's back in the days of the PS3 era, and getting to see those two duke it out has been a long time coming!

As an ex-Brony, I was 100% behind Discord. And even though he lost, that he could seal back Cipher and save the world is a noble ending that sadly not a lot of characters get in this show.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for this reaction. I went into this episode of Death Battle not expecting much, as I didn't know much about either character, but hoooooboy am I glad to be wrong. This turned into being one of my favorite episodes they've ever done. There are SO. MANY. REFERENCES. To other things in it that you can watch it several times and still not even see them all.
This Fight might just have the BEST ending of the season I would DARE say. Overall this was Another BANGER EPISODE, can’t what to see what the rest of the season offers.
Gravity falls is a show everyone should watch with their kids. I was shocked at how much I loved it. Bill Cypher was an awesome character. "Here kid, have some deer teeth!"
My little pony friendship is magic was a very popular show a decade ago. It lasted for 9 seasons and had a lot of guest actors like Weird Al and William Shatner. It lasted 9 mostly 22-episode long seasons had a theatrical movie and 4 tv movies.
This is easily in my Top 3 Death Battles, for it's stellar animation, great music, performances for the characters, fun moments like the puppets, and Amazing conclusion to tbe Battle with Bill winning the Matchup but Discord getting the last laugh saving his friends and home from Bill trapping him back in the nightmare realm
To be fair, everyone underestimates discord. He was never really a villain. He's based on Q, who's always finding underhanded and morally ambiguous ways to help the humans.
Isn't it funny that Discord's first reign just happened to push the sisters to find the elements of harmony right before they needed them for nightmare moon?
And then he "was tricked" just in time to give Twilight the last key to unlock the rainbow of light.
And then was "tricked" again in a scheme that resulted in equestria uniting and all of its unreformed enemies being stoned.

Bill may have killed Discord, but Discord tricked Bill. So they both lost, but sadly Discord lost permanently.
Given their nature, maybe not in battle, but Discord actually won the war - killing in the video/series/comics cannot kill him. He knows that he is a character from a children's show, he knows who Bill is, just like he knows everything else about our world and our work - he literally said that he knew how Bill would die, while Bill still did not fully understand what was happening. Considering how many times Discord just acted out his role, pretending to be weak, sick, etc... and his abilities (clones, time control, etc.), I'm not even sure he actually died in the video

gravity falls is possibly one of disney's greatest shows they ever made it has so much crazy good lore its almost criminal that it only lasted like 3 or 4 seasons. it was that popular the writer and director made an irl global treasure hunt where the final discovery is a stature of bill cypher which has now been moved and nailed to a tree in a park to stop people from taking it. the writer is also good friends with the rick and morty creators so its a similar kind of humour and style but child friendly. matpat's done a few gravity falls vids on film theory if u r interested in them

Discord had his best showing as an antagonist, which didn't last long since efforts to reform him started the next season. 'The Return of Harmony' was originally supposed to be the TV special to end the series, but it got turned into the season 2 premiere when Hasbro realized they had an audience with a disposable income. _FiM_ ended up lasting for nine seasons, and has several TV specials, some side story movies, and a feature movie, along with comics, manga, and of course, toys. Odd to say about a show originally intended as family entertainment, but there are some pretty dark episodes. If you're at all curious, the season 2 episode 'Lesson Zero' gives a pretty good idea of the kinds of things they do without spoiling anything, and it also reintroduces the characters pretty well, without needing to be a two-parter. And if you want to see a smack-down fight (although it doesn't resolve the situation), you should still be able to find the clip of 'Twilight Sparkle vs Tirek' somewhere on here.

Cool detail about this battle. When they first start talking about Bill Cipher you see his real name is just a bunch of random letters and static. If you go frame by frame you'll find that each sequence of letters isn't random. They are all anagrams of different youtube channels that react to Death Battle. I'm not sure if there is a full list of each reactor name that was included, but it's entirely possible that you might have been included too.
The battle's page at the Death Battle Wiki has a list of all the anagrams. Unfortunately, DnD's not one of them.

I’m a fan of both shows. Bill won and lost, but Discord won and lost a whole lot worse in my opinion.
Bill doesn’t really care what universe he invades and even though he hates the outcome he got and that he’s stuck in the Nightmare Realm for the time being, he can just trick someone else in another universe in the expanse of the Multiverse. That’s why he went from PISSED TO THE EXTREME to shrugging it off. Equestria is just another place that he doesn’t really care about aside from making it his own place to wreck and it can be replaced.
Discord, however, won’t be coming back for a while. Where there’s chaos, there’s Discord... But when exactly is he going to return? It could be a few days, a few months, a few years, a few decades... Or a few *centuries.* By then, Fluttershy could be dead along with all of his friends. He saved them all, but when he comes back, there’s a really good chance he’s going to come back to see that everyone he cared about is dead, which to him is even worse than death. He saved the ponies, but unless the return time is nice to him, he’ll be devastated when he comes back.

I’m not really a MLP person, but gravity Falls was such a good show. Bill cipher is such a frightening villain i’m honestly surprised with half of the stuff he did in the show he was allowed to be in a kid show killing characters left and right, the substantial amount of body horror was great

Pretty fun, chaotic fight. Never interested in either show, so it was a spectacle for me.
But the next fight I had more stock in, since I’ve played Infamous 1 & 2. And I’ve heard about Prototypoe during their rivalry in the early 2000’s. So I was rooting for Cole in that fight.

Highly recommend gravity falls as a reaction series. It was a great show when it came out as a kid, and is still good now.
My Little Pony is definitively worth checking out.
It does suffer a little bit from the mentality of it being a "little children's show" where some of the filler episodes are a little vapid, but for the most part it's a solid show.
But even at worst, it's still entirely harmless and often cute enough, so it's not really that bad.
Later seasons are also a little off in scope, especially from Season 8 on, but it ended fine.

His appearance on the other comics, as "FIENDship is Magic: Tirek", where Discord was hiding in the crowd when Tirek was banished from his home, which means Discord already known Tirek and his nature before their meeting in S4 in the show. Moreover, in the show Discord tells the Mane6 that he going after Tirek, BUT before that Discord literally gave the Mane6 in the hooves macguffin, instructed them, and in the end became the last part of it by giving Tirek to take his powers! So who was fooled in the end is a biiiiiiig question.
Also Bill have a weakness to the unicorn hair. And where unicorns are common? Oh, wait... In Equestria!:"D

While Discord was beaten by yellow pony who said she won't be his friend because he behave like a jerk (he really is). And many things, but Discord simply can create dimensions, travel between dimensions and read, and rewrite the script of the show.

Hey people. I know it's maybe too late for that but I'll still write it. I'm thinking the same I did with Steven from Star Butterfly vs Steven Universe: As great as the fight was, there existed the possibility that it would have been even more awesome. Transformations are the key word. The fights would have been so much more dramatic and ingenious if Steven had used his "Pink Status" and might have lost anyway, but he would have played his last trump card. A triumphant triumph if he had tried to fight as a gigantic monster lizard against Star's magical superiority and had perished fighting.
The same goes for Bill. Wouldn't you have found it perfect if Bill had completely freaked out, transformed into his monstrous pyramid form with the multiple eyes and arms. Then he probably would have broken Discord down into its molecules, just as he threatened the mystery twins to do. Only here would we have seen what he meant by that. What do you mean? If this perfect death battle hadn't been even more perfect, Bill would have taken on his most terrifying form?

The fight was amazing, but going by actual canon info on Discord, they did him VERY dirty here. Discord has defeated foes of his own power level with his own exact power set with EASE, and unlike Bill, he can break through dimensional barriers like it’s nothing. So he’s really above Bill by a significant margin even when you don’t factor in that he’s beaten foes like Bill before with ease.
Not to mention, they claim he wouldn’t take Bill seriously but they show Fluttershy in danger. Fluttershy is his first friend who he loves dearly, and when she’s in danger he has been shown to toss his carefree nature out the window. If anything would make him take it seriously, it’s their exact scenario.
Not to mention, Discord is empowered by Chaos and they make the fight end in the Nightmare Dimension, a realm of pure chaos. Discord would be basically invincible in there. And on top of that, Weirdmaggedon ends as soon as they enter it (which they show there at the end) so Bill would not be getting his power boost from Weirdmaggedon anymore.
Discord, by all canon information about him, should have DESTROYED Bill. Yeah, he would 100% have played with him, but not to the point he would have lost.
You're talking about Canon power when ignoring Bill's Canon power? Bill has also defeated beings supposedly on his own level. I'd respect your opinion if you bothered to actually give any evidence that Discord kills Bill. Additionally, you got his powers wrong. He is empowered by Chaos, yes. But it is Chaos caused by himself. Spill over everyone's coffee? Chaos. He destroys a building? He gets more powerful. A castle? More power. A TOWN? More power. HE has to cause the Chaos otherwise he gets nothing.

We also have no evidence the beings he does kill are on his own exact level (the most we ever get confirming Time Baby's power level is how everyone seems to revere and fear him in the future). We also get confirmation that while, yes, Bill's power increases during Weirdmaggedon, he, again, cannot even start it without someone opening the way between dimensions for him.
Meanwhile with Discord, he can go between dimensions with ease, has been confirmed to defeat enemies on his level before without effort (as well as having one of those enemies basically confirm he can't truly die. He is a force of nature, even if you destroy his spirit he will return, which thankfully DB does acknowledge), and the only times we even see Discord TAKE DAMAGE is when he baits someone to do it (like with Starlight) or when he has his powers drained. The only time we even see him comes close to dying is when he almost erased himself by denying his nature.
Bill is insanely powerful. Yes, this is true, but we never get any actual confirmed evidence of him fighting beings on his own exact power level (again, Time Baby was never confirmed to be as powerful as Bill. In fact, being one-shotted kinda confirms he isn't). But Discord achieves feats that Bill needs help to achieve, and unlike Discord, Bill takes damage from people significantly weaker than him (without him letting them do it for a gag or something), and despite Bill's claims of having no weakness, he repeatedly has his eye destroyed (which he himself says takes forever to regenerate, something they didn't keep to in the fight), and on top of that, Stan managed to keep a BOOSTED BY WEIRDMAGGEDON BILL trapped in his mind while it was erased. Bill is clearly not as powerful as they claim he is in his spirit form.
Not to mention, as I said, Discord is empowered by chaos. Weirdmaggedon would be like attaching him to a battery. Everything Bill did would be like attaching even more batteries to him. Having him enter the NIGHTMARE DIMENSION would be like hooking him up to a NUCLEAR REACTOR. It's a dimension of PURE CHAOS. everything they put in their scenario would only have made Discord infinitely stronger, with that strength rising EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF THE FIGHT. So even if we humor them and say Bill was stronger at first, he wouldn't be by the end. Especially since Weirdmaggedon ended the second they entered the Nightmare Dimension.
And their claim Discord wouldn't take him seriously is ridiculous given they put FLUTTERSHY IN DANGER. That is his first and best friend. Putting her at Bill's mercy would make him take the fight seriously.

@@-ZH considering going back to the nightmare dimension would rob Bill of his Physical Form, as (as Bill puts it) it's basically a two-dimensional world, I honestly doubt he'd still have the same amount of power there.
