I think you'll love them @johnhumphries4632. They are almost like magic! Do you find yourself trying to light wet wood very often? If so, you'll really be impressed with their performance.
Hi @rene-ro6oe , we use homemade ones too, made with toilet paper rolls and lint which are great when conditions are dry and we have plenty of kindling and dry wood. Colorado is one of our favorite states to visit! Do you have a favorite place to camp there?
I use lint in egg crates and pour wax over them. Never needed kindling. We only got to camp at 3 places because we were visiting our Son in the Springs, plus we didn’t have all our solar and batteries upgraded last fall. South Meadows in Pike Forest close to Woodland Park, Cheyanne Mountain State Park and San Lois. I can’t wait to get back that way!!! We full time now so hopefully.
You know, @bobanddangsjourney, the "He-Man Torch" is always Pete's answer. He loves carrying around his weed-burner and 1 pound propane cylinder to do little tasks around the campsite. That includes pre-heating my Dutch oven. 😂
Awesome I’ll have to get some of those fire starters and try them out 👍

Wow! We use the homemade ones I make with lint and wax. Lucky you being in Colorado!!!

@@rene-ro6oe thanks for the tips, I'm going to put those destinations on my Colorado list so we visit them the next time we are there. Thank you!
Thats pretty cool - Beats standing around with a propane torch which is my usual approach :). Thanks for making this !
