Great info as usual Kim - very useful tips. We use propane for just about everything anyhow. Or an induction cooktop powered by the 120v outlet on the side of the trailer. We are heading to Alaska next week, and I need some tips on how to cook there! Usually I just leave the cooking equipment out overnight if I know we are going to be around for a few days - but with the bears up there no way I'm going to do that. Have to setup and tear down after each meal :( Probably be cooking in the RV more than usual... You guys take care !

I am so excited about your upcoming journey!!! Please watch out for the bears and stay safe. Cooking in your rig is a great idea. You can also cook directly over a campfire so you don’t have to leave cooking equipment outside overnight. Dutch oven and foil packet recipes are great options for that. Have a GREAT TIME and enjoy your adventure ❤️

You always do such a great job with your videos. Great information. I always just assume there is a stage one fire restriction in the summer time regardless. We are going to up to close to where you are in this video at the end fo July.

Thanks @azxp! I also started assuming the constant stage 1 restrictions a few years ago. It’s so much better to be surprised there are no restrictions when we arrive instead of being surprised they are activated 😊
