I got a regular iPhone 11 and thinking of upgrading to iPhone 16 Pro max. I use my phone like 8 hours screen time a day so I think I should reward myself.

I think trick is - upgrade every 4-5 years. If you upgrade every year you’re gonna be disappointed no matter what
I got my iPhone 16 Pro Max today with 512 GB.
Coming from a iPhone 11 with 64 GB, and I can promise you, the upgrade feels huge and was well worth it.
Hope it will last even longer than my 11 did.

If you are a little bit on a budget as I would say, and don't see a need for the camera button, then a 15 Pro / Pro Max should be totally fine.
The difference to the 16 Pro / Pro Max is very minimal and not worth it, if saving some extra money could be useful to someone.
Just upgraded to the 15 pro max after rocking the XR for almost 6 years. Hope this one lasts just as long if not longer
I have been using 15pro max for 6 months… great phone. I only have one complaint and it always seem to point at battery life

It really is taller and wider i compared my 15 Pro Max to a 16 Pro Max Case
Had the 16PM and after a week, I had to go back and get the Pro. The Pro feels so much better on my hand.
Coming from the 15 pro max the difference is subtle but noticeable. The display is smoother which makes it feel faster and the hand feel is even more comfortable.
only thing i care is the 6”9 display
I am so glad that I got the Pro Max instead of the regular pro. I was concerned about size but it’s not an issue.

Iv got the max on the way but did i actually make the right choice. I like big phones. Iv had Samsung S21U and now OnePlus Nord 4 with 6,7 inch. So getting the 16 pro feels like a downgrade.
Battery life is excellent on PM

Yeah, I got the iPhone 16 Pro Max, upgraded from IPhone 14 Pro Max. If you have the 15 it’s not big of difference unless you just love getting new every year.

@@monssterific bros i returned the upgrade literally 1k for the same thing, ill stay with my little bit slower iphone 12 pro max that still takes pictures and i can call and text. Ill use that 1k for a week vacation

I went from IPhone 7 Plus to IPhone 16 Pro Max. 512 GBs and White Titanium. 7 Plus is a classic. I never had the newest IPhone because of my finances the 16 is good love the device excellent performance.
As familiar as this phone looks.
It's still one of the best looking elegant flagship phones.
I think Apple has decided to stick with this design deliberately as a branding initiative.

I upgraded this year from an iPhone 13 Pro Max to the new iPhone 16 pro max and I swear the iPhone 13 Pro Max feels bigger in my hand 😂 I had to ask the worker at apple if he got the wrong size because of how smaller it felt but idk that’s just me overall love the new iPhone !!

I have seen all these people telling the iphone is too big see i went to an apple store yesterday i tried this out,when i took it it was just perfect to my hands not at all big see iam just a school studying student in grade 10 only and im just 5'8 it just perfectly fits man for people who have Android phones will not face a single issue as most of the androids now are big

Straight up from someone who has a 15 pro max and already went to the Apple Store for the 16 pro max, the difference is very minimal, you can fit a 16 pro max in a 15 pro max and vise versa, although it will look weird because one has the camera features button and the other doesn’t
How's that when it's a bit longer and wider too? What kind of case are you using?
Just curious. Why did you even go for the upgrade when its so minimal but expensive price wise?
@@Persason I’ve personally been upgrading my iPhones every two years since the iPhone 4. However, this will be my last two-year update. The prices keep increasing, and the feature sets get thinner.
Honestly, the black iPhone 16 Pro Max looks like a deep shade of blue instead of black.

The shutter button is cool. But I wish there were options for if you’re left handed? I’m left handed and the amount of stretching or learning to use my right hand I’d have to do is just insane XD
upgrading from the standard 14 to the 16 pro max cant wait!
I feel like the camera control feature isnt that useful. I tried using it but it just feels like *another* gimmick (action button). With Samsung you can just wave your hand at the camera or say a code word like 'smile' and it does the same task better. Why I don't like the action button is that it's basically the same thing as the iconic switch but people say it's way more customizable (they could've done that with the switch too). In the end the iPhone 16 has improved this year and it's a good phone.
I upgraded from the 14 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max. The 14 is still a good phone but the camera upgrade is pretty damn good lol and the battery as well. It also scrolls quite a bit smoother. I also bought it rather than paying on a phone for 2 years like I did with last phone lol phone payments suck
People laughed at me for having the iPhone 4 and then I got the iPhone 12 Pro to show them, but I’m thinking about getting the iPhone 16 Pro Max sometime in April 2025. I’d feel bad though cause my bestie literally bought me a new phone case for Christmas lol

I have an iPhone 11 and I have to switch to a newer model like the 14 because of the iOS 18 update that made my battery much more damaged,more lag,random rebooting and more!
As someone who use to always get the max phones before getting a 14pro, I think that Unless you have big hands, the Max is not needed.

I have an iPhone 11 and my small ass hands struggle with that I actually kinda miss the smaller iPhones but love the big screen so I’m conflicted.

not all stuff will be transferred like notes etc. and i think you need to relogin or redownload other apps.
wherein if you upgrade from android to android or iphone to iphone you wont need to relogin or redownload others stuff its like using the same old phone

Became anti after my latest one and went to oneplus and iPhone My 16 PRO Max lags worse then my 4 year old exynos Samsung. Its unbareable. Gonna trade it in for the s25U or oneplus 13. Maybe even a Xiaomi 14/15?
The 16 Pro Max is the largest to date but not by much compared to the latter model iPhones. The older ones sure.

I upgraded from Samsung A13 to 16 pro max and other iOS and performance, feels like a lateral move because I been having a huge display in the A13 😅! Feels very similar due to the huge display! I have them the same black color and I get confused on which is which! That being said , the 16 blows it out the water in speed !

I bought an iPhone 16 Pro Max from base 13.
My next upgrade will be an iPhone without a notch.
I can keep the 16PM for at least 7+ years unless there are major changes to the iPhone.
I got the 13 and 13 mini I'm keeping these until I just cant anymore lol at least another 5-6 years. Hopefully longer than that. these phones age much better than older models

I have the 16 pro max. In a nutshell: you will only see a difference (IOS) if you’re coming from any models prior to the 12, and models that aren’t plus or pro max in terms of size. BUT if you have anything Iphone 12 and on in plus or max versions than the ‘new’ size or even features of the 16 pro max are barely a difference. Its literally the same.👍🏽 So yes a lot of hype yall.

If you're upgrading after 5 years, sure, it makes sense, I just got s24 ultra after using my s20 ultra for about 5 years now, and it's still working. I just decided to treat myself

The brightness is horrible. Very dark and dull. It lags when swiping. Love the speakers.

The iPhone 16 pro max was perfectly made for people who were born deaf. You would think if apple would have made a phone with such quality and features they would have put a better quality sound system in it. My old outdated 10 year old android phone side by side the 16 pro max will drown out the sound at half volume, and it only cost $900 new.
