I’m keeping my 14 Pro until Maybe the iPhone 18 Pro I’ll rather replace the battery at the Apple Store than spend 1,092 bucks on an iPhone again I upgraded from an iPhone 11 it was an upgrade in every way.
I have had my 15 Pro for just over a year and it is down at 92% battery capacity with 280 cycles. My wife has had 14 Pro for two years and it is down at 87% battery capacity. Both daily used. I don't know what we are doing wrong but we have both charging optimization turned on but the battery capacity loss seems to be much faster in recent iPhones. I've started capping the max charging to 95% on mine, but you can only do that on 15 and onwards.
That battery capacity is fairly normal. Especially the 14 Pro after 2 years and likely over 500 cycles. Phone batteries are consumable and aren't designed to last more than a few years. I also wouldn't recommend setting the limit to 95%. Just use your phone normally and replace the battery after 3-4 years for about $80 (if you haven't bought a new one already).
@@CreatedTechheck my screen just started flickering (likely a software problem with the ios18 update) and it was just cheaper to upgrade than get it fixed. Sad times

I’ve always upgraded phones when there have been major changes. Got my iPhone 6S Plus then iPhone X and I’ve been using the 14 Pro Max since its release. 14 Pro Max is a beast. With heavy camera usage, my battery health is at 85% but still lasts me all day. The only major difference I feel was with how light the new iPhones are, and USB-C.
Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro, using the 16 pro makes a huge difference. For me, it’s totally worth it. It’s really not worth buying a new phone if you have a 2-3 year old model
i prefer the 14 Stainless Steel look (when it's clean) and dont mind the bit of weight, feels and looks really solid/premium. and prefer the mute switch/no camera button... less likely to accidentally press things. USB-C/quad microphones/Log video are very nice though, all 3 should have happened with the 12 tbh.
Got a 13 pro max. Works more than perfect. Not a videographer, so no need to have an even better camera. The processing power is still sharp and the screen is good too. Nowadays it doesn’t make any difference between one generation to other, besides the battery life. Enjoy the device you have, you’ll save money
I come from the SE. Decided for the 16 because of the 5x camera, since being able to zoom in while filming/ taking a photo is important to me. I didn’t want to have the feeling in upcoming situations „man, I wish I took the 16, so I could have a nicer zoomed in photo“. Literally the only reason.
@@mike15. I could have, but I don’t like the size of the Pro max. I think it’s way too big and prefer the size and weight of SE or older iphones. The 16 pro at least gets close to it, it’s bulky though but not as “bad” as pro Max.
I currently have the 15 Pro. Im completely content with it and have no desire to upgrade. I previously had the 13 Pro and the only reason i upgraded was the USB-C which allowed me to use one cable for all my devices. I don’t plan on upgrading again until there is another major design change.
I am curious with people who can manage their battery health 98%-99% after a year. Like how? What have they been doing with their phone? I hate the Camera Control button. It's way too easy for me to accidentally activate the camera. And even if it weren't, the Camera Control button is way too fiddly and awkward to use. It's far quicker for me to use the screen controls to take a picture. This is the most ill-conceived hardware feature that Apple has ever come up with. I should've stuck with the iPhone 15-that was the last great phone from Apple. In future, I will not upgrade to another iPhone until Apple removes this accursed feature.
I got my 15 Pro Max on the first day and since then with a year of daily use i only have 92%... The battery decrease is way worse than the 14 Pro Max, now i'm going to get the 16 Pro max because my 15PM loses about 1% every 3 weeks

So if I buy a new iphone can i still travel with both and have both active without messing things up?

I already have AI Siri on my iPhone 15 pro since the summer. It’s actually makes the iPhone look cool with new features! Siri is actually smarter and way faster. The public will like it when it releases
8:12 yikes, phone on top of another phone is the easiest way to scratch displays. The sapphire crystal lens on the iphone scratches other phone displays extremely easily.
Out of interest how are people finding supply with different providers in different parts of the world. Mine came today from Sky England 2 days short of a month after ordering it. Normally I’ve got my phone within a couple of days of ordering it and this is by far the longest I've waited.
I love my 14Pro, BUT after 2 years my battery life is only 89% !!! That’s so bad. But in „real life“ it’s even worse. When I got it new, I had in the evening still 61% usually. Not it’s almost sunning out of battery in the afternoon.
More of the same... 😴 if I had to upgrade, I'd get the 15 Pro just because it's the lightest one. But my 13 Pro still feels years ahead of anything I've used before (the 2020 SE). So impressed with that phone.
I went from xr to 14 plus and I don’t notice the difference at all. 5g doesn’t match the hype. My phones do all the same. I don’t use mag safe so it doesn’t matter. My one lense on xr was pretty solid.

I've been waiting for 16pro. But since my country is currently banned the 16 series, thanks to apple's gready wishes, now I decided to get 15 pro max. I got it on sale with the best deal.
I had 15 pro and it broke. I loved everything about it especally color (blue titanium) and usb-c. only rpbolem was that it had a little bit to short battery life (few%) and the 3x wasn't cutting it for me (i film sport events). are the 5x tele and bigger battery actually enough of an upgrade to spend 120 extra $ ? i'm from poland BTW thats why its 120$ diffrence
3GS in 2009, 4S in 2012, 6 in 2014, XS Max 2018, now going for the 16Pro in 2024 should be a decent upgrade.
Am I the only one to realize that case is lying about how long they have been making cases for 24 so you’re telling me they were making cases back in 1996 🤷♂️ dope video tho
He said 13 years, and if he would’ve said 24 it would’ve meant they have been making cases since 2000 not 1996
Went from 6s to 14pro don’t really upgrade often but next upgrade is gonna be in 3 yrs
I was totally decided to buy 16 pro (I have a base 13) but I will wait to 17 series and see the products they will launch
I’m happy with my iPhone 15 pro. Will be waiting for the iPhone 18.
I’m happy with my 15pro for a few years
I got my 15 Pro Max on the first day and since then with a year of daily use i only have 92%... The battery decrease is way worse than the 14 Pro Max, now i'm going to get the 16 Pro max because my 15PM loses about 1% every 3 weeks
Omg really ?I am about to get one but now I am hesitant
Good old days when Created Tech used to do a lot of Macbook Air comparisons and reviews. I like how it is now on Reviewing other products. But 250k is low for the benefits of this channel!
I’m fine with my 15 pro until at least the 18 or 19 series come out
I have an iphone XS MAX. I was thinking about upgrading to a 15 PM or 16PM but cant decide. this upgrade would ONLY be so i could have a better camera and battery for my travels....NO OTHER REASON!!!!! I think it would be nice to have 2 iphones (same apple ID) when i travel in case i lose on or one gets stolen. So if I buy a new iphone can i still travel with both and have both active without messing things up?
eh? you close up of the building 15 vs 16 pro wide angle (low light), the 16 looks darker but lot's more grain and less detail (12:49) What you smokin?
I came from an iPhone XS ….now I got a 14 Pro Max
I bought my wife an 16pro and…in my perspective ☝️ I made my comparison between the cameras and the 14PM just stands right to the 16PM (Activate the Heif Max settings to shoot always 48mp)
The battery in the 14PM just last all day!
plan to buy 16pro april.still enjoy 15pro
I already have AI Siri on my iPhone 15 pro since the summer. It’s actually makes the iPhone look cool with new features! Siri is actually smarter and way faster. The public will like it when it releases
Just got the 16 pro max and after 12 hours of screen time it is always still higher than 50%
15 pro is good enough ig it has everything except camera control
From 4s to 16pm
I was android user between these period and im happy with 16pm
Will the Visual Intelligence feature work with the iPhone 15 Pro without the camera button?
Who knows. They’ve barely rolled out ai features with the 16. Not something I’d stress about
8:12 yikes, phone on top of another phone is the easiest way to scratch displays. The sapphire crystal lens on the iphone scratches other phone displays extremely easily.
Pshaw! You guys use the new iPhone and I have a nokia. You could just say I am the GOAT.
Which watch r u wear?
Out of interest how are people finding supply with different providers in different parts of the world. Mine came today from Sky England 2 days short of a month after ordering it. Normally I’ve got my phone within a couple of days of ordering it and this is by far the longest I've waited.
I bought directly from Apple and it arrived on the first day the 16 Pro Max was released. I got lucky.
Got my 11 pro max long time ago and it is still a good phone gonna wait until 17 pro max to exchange
I love my 14Pro, BUT after 2 years my battery life is only 89% !!! That’s so bad. But in „real life“ it’s even worse. When I got it new, I had in the evening still 61% usually. Not it’s almost sunning out of battery in the afternoon.
13 pro is all I will ever need. Probably won’t get a new phone till it breaks or the iPhone 20 comes out. Simple and reliable.
My one lense on xr was pretty solid.
just got my 16 pro max 3 weeks ago after my 13 pro max got stolen
Can the 16 Pro Max reverse charge other iphones without a cable?
I LOVE my Black 14 Pro Max. Love the extra weight. Had the 15 Pro Max but hated it. The 16 Pro Max is a disgrace to upgrades ha ha
Happy with my iPhone 13 until 18 comes out
Waiting for that iPhone pro max 17 next year
Thank god i cant wait to upgrade from my iphone 0.1 to the iphone 76 pro max max slim plus max pro
