If you have a 14 pro max and any other max phone and up and your phone is dying in the middle of the day you’re not working enough unless you need your phone to do your job
I have had my 15 Pro for just over a year and it is down at 92% battery capacity with 280 cycles. My wife has had 14 Pro for two years and it is down at 87% battery capacity. Both daily used. I don't know what we are doing wrong but we have both charging optimization turned on but the battery capacity loss seems to be much faster in recent iPhones. I've started capping the max charging to 95% on mine, but you can only do that on 15 and onwards.
That battery capacity is fairly normal. Especially the 14 Pro after 2 years and likely over 500 cycles. Phone batteries are consumable and aren't designed to last more than a few years. I also wouldn't recommend setting the limit to 95%. Just use your phone normally and replace the battery after 3-4 years for about $80 (if you haven't bought a new one already).

Bro, you as a tech TH-camr should know that the battery performance on the older iPhones decreases with newer iOS updates, it happens when new iPhones introducing. This way Apple forces us to upgrade. Marketing…
This is a myth. Software updates have never slowed performance of iPhones or decreased battery life. iOS can and will adjust the iPhone's performance depending on battery health. So if you have an old and consumed battery (e.g. less than 80% capacity remaining), iOS will try to throttle the speed of the iPhone's processor to improve battery life. Consumed batteries (e.g. under 80%) can also often struggle to provide enough peak power to sustain the processor's maximum power demands. I believe you can switch this process off, but I've never had it happen to me personally so haven't had the chance to test it. Of course, if you replace the old and consumed battery, this process is no longer necessary. I also believe newer versions of iOS are more demanding/feature rich and if they're running on older hardware in the case of an iPhone 13/12/11 etc, it may slow performance slightly in some situations.

No, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about and are simply spreading misinformation. Apple does not "slow down" the iPhone 15 for example when the 16 is released. That is complete tin foil hat nonsense. I'm waiting for you to provide a reputable source for your claim instead of saying "I know what I'm talking about because I've owned a few iPhones over the years" lol. In fact, upload a video right now showing me what you claim. Go and buy a 16PM and test it against a 15PM with 100% battery capacity and the latest iOS update. I'll wait. And your only response is "Google it"? When you Google it every source backs up what I said in my original comment! I've been using and testing iPhones since 2011 and not once have I ever seen this behavior from Apple, because it is illegal and easily identifiable and they would ruin consumer confidence if it ever was detected.

13 pro and 14 pro good iphones that can last you a long time
1:14 how did you get cycle count and manufacture date??
For some reason it’s only coming up on the 15 and 16. From memory the 14 used to have that info too (I could be wrong), but perhaps Apple removed it in an update.
I want a iPhone 16 pro so badly
The best cases are quad lock
1:36 ayooooo
I want iPhone 16pro so badly
@@CreatedTech digging yourself…))
It’s time consuming test. But repeat exact same battery test on 16 PM with the latest iOS available when iPhone 17 arrives)
I did it. Using iPhones since iPhone 4. I know what I’m talking about. But a very few of tech TH-camrs mentions this fact. It’s a shame that TH-cam influencers helping big companies make money instead of helping end consumer.
@@CreatedTech never slowed of iPhone performance?))) How young are you?) Google it…
No, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about and are simply spreading misinformation.
@@CreatedTechhmm.... Let's see if updating my iPhone 11 to iOS 17 will slowing down my phone.
I have all three and all are amazing!
And I thought me having the 13, 12, and 11 are enough, you have taken the cake. Not that serious!!!
@@JJ-jp8tv Lol nice! Believe it or not, I now have 7 iPhones (SE(2020), XR, 11, 11 Pro, 14 Pro, 15 Pro, and now 16 Pro. No competition here. I just intend to start an iPhone channel 😅
Good luck with the new channel!
I get a new pro and a new max ( both pros) every year. Don’t care about what people say. I like the latest and the greatest and THERE’S lots of differences between them. Whoever says the opposite is just reaching too damn much. Take care now! 😂😂😂😂😂
So 16 pro battery is better than 15 pro max according to your charts?
Based on my testing and other videos I’ve seen, they’re about the same.
@@CreatedTech That's a big improvement, getting last year's best battery life in a smaller pro is kind of great.I'm waiting for my 16 Pro.
I love my 14 pro deep purple not upgrading
getting the 16 pro yoooo
Im from xs max jumping to 16 pro
The iPhone 15 pro max was the best sale in smartphone in 2024 all those jokes about the phone heating up and yet didn't make a difference 😮
You should have a minimum of an Iphone 13
