It seems like the durability test for the Samsung device closely mirrors that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max in many ways, yet you’re treating them differently. For instance, both devices have a misaligned logo on the backside-perhaps even more noticeably on the Samsung-yet you didn’t mention it in this case. With the iPhone, you pointed it out and even joked about it being enough to give a perfectionist some PTSD. The scratch tests were quite similar. The grooves on the Samsung were deep at level 8, but scratches had already appeared by level 7-where you chose to stop with the iPhone, even though its scratches weren’t much deeper than those on the Galaxy S24. While I acknowledge that the display on the Samsung might be slightly more scratch-resistant, the difference isn’t significant. It also felt like you applied more pressure with the scratching tool on the iPhone compared to the Samsung, where it seemed like you were more gentle. Overall, it seems the iPhone faced harsher scrutiny in comparison.

For once?
@@JustSenix yessir, their phones always had a fatal quirk, they're either bending, or having an issue with signal, difficult to repair, parts serialization, touch issues etc.
This one just looks well built, like an lg, nokia, or htc, if i was ever going to switch to iPhone (never) the iphone 16 would be the one to do it
Glass is glass and I can get a screen protector cheaper from a random amazon seller. LOL
6:50 it's surprising that the screen doesn't react to fire
they havent done for years now, the ceramic shield dissipates the heat incredibly well
It’s not surprising considering how many iPhones Jerry has torched over the years 😂
Legend has it that Jerry was rubbing his hands like birdman when the iphone 16 was released
Finally the apple video that i’ve been waiting for.
The iPhone 16 survived the durability test after how the 15 literally snapped
U had to spoil it
Thank u
The back glass of the titanium snapped, the phone was fine tho. But yeah it was pretty bad regardless
@@tullyryan4053why you are reading comments on a video u didnt see
@@Tsumi784 How is the phone fine if the glass snaps? IP68 is absolutely gone and you have glass shards and dust in your hand, how is that fine?
You didn't have to Insult that hard:They can barely give us the right cable in the box 🔥😂
No smartphone maker ships USB 3 cables.
I just picked this up and it crushed my heart seeing it get destroyed but it’s good to know it’s better than last years!
When I first started watching Zack, i found the razor blade scratching to be really annoying, but now it's more like soothing asmr.
Great video! Love the genuine criticism and pure simple truth behind your teardowns. Regarding the bend/crack test, would you say that the iPhone 16 Pro would largely behave the same as the Pro MAX in this video? Thanks, and again, awesome vid!
2:28 Apple keeps lying about sapphire 😹😹😹
I mean theres like atoms worth of sapphire in that glass, so its technically the truth, which is enough for Apple I guess.
@@celestinonatale a thin layer of sapphire on the surface is all we needed for this scratch test but I guess having atoms has always been apple’s standard 😮💨
Apple's never gonna mention there's a thin layer of sapphire in our new button
