no not me, everything sounds different, its not a Gojira loudness any more...ill stick to legacy until someone buys mine.., then ill switch to Mercurial, the Legacy was neck and neck Mercurial and Kazrog.., now its a joke..very sad!

Fantastic demo . I've owned Gojira since it first came out and it my favourite of my NDSPs. Loving the updates with X. You're videos are the very best instructional on Neutral products and the detail and explanation you give is fantastic. More please
These "How to Dial in..." videos come in super handy when, like myself you own most of the Neural DSP Plug-ins.
Because with all the options at my disposal it's very convenient to have each Plug-in summarized in videos you can come back to. Remember all the stomp boxes that are emulated in the plug-ins don't all function the same. 2 Delay or Chorus stomp boxes will have very different features. Not to mention the Amps themselves, with some of them having Push / Pull knobs - it's easy to forget which amps have that and which do not, which have attenuation....etc.
One of my all time fave plugins. Made even better recently. Thanks guys!

It would be extremely amazing if you'd do Archetype: Adam Jones from Tool, and an amp plugin concerning the Verellen Amps in the future (so we'd be able to recreate sounds from Russian Circles, etc..).
Those amps are so rare and impossible to get. The best reason to create them digitally! Maybe Ben could help you out with physical models! Would be an insta buy for me!
Take my money for russian circles or tool achetype or though the tool one should have a Bass section. Peace

I’m so glad to see the doubler effect update on this. I’ve had to manually set the delay pedal to get the same effect for jamming.
wish they added it to Gojira cause this sounds nothing like the legacy, compare them yourself, its a FAIL, all presets are a mess!!!

Just installed the update and I am thrilled with how little CPU this new version requires compared to the older version!
This was a very pleasant surprise. My most used NDSP plugins with Tone-King and Cory Wong. It'll be great when the others get this new look and the other upgrades. If I could afford it I would by the Morgan suite as it's superb.
NDSP is lightyears ahead of everyone else. with an amazing team and all the explainations on how to use the products.. the value composition is unreal. Amazing work as always!! DIGITAL JOHN!!!

I'm still pretty new to mixing, and I've had a lot of problems with my guitar tone. Who doesn't obsess? I've got a decent amount of amps and plugins, and some of those are really great, but something about the gain structure of this thing. I think it's the best plug-in I've ever heard.
I really wish the phaser had a mix knob, but that is not even close to a big deal. The hot amp is just awesome. I have other 5150 plugins but they don't compare it to this.
I will most definitely be getting the granophyre and Soldano plug-ins.

Just updated. Like the Plini X update, this is just fantastic. It looks like a complete overhaul, without gutting the soul of the plugin that we all loved in the first place.
feel sorry for you, keep using legacy as you will notice all the presets including yours are not as loud and stand out any more..its a mess!

41:19 tl;dr: What's the difference between the Output on the amp, and the Output on the UI?
Long version: Does the Output knob of the amp itself not affect the gain/saturation structure? Is it *only* an output volume, hence, the exact same as the output knob on the top right of the UI? In some other Neural amps, I've used the relationship of Master and Level to create different kinds of amp responses. Less Master, more Level = cleaner and more articulate, and vice-versa = fuller and more "glued". Is that not the case with Gojira/Gojira X?

After comparing all the amps to their regular Gojira (non X) counterpart, I actually think the 2nd amp sounded much better prior to the update.

@NeuralDSP Do I really need a MIDI Expression Pedal for the Gojira pedal things or can I also use my NDSP expression pedal by Mission Engineering? I also have a Quad Cortex.

If it’s already compatible with Apple’s silicone can we aspect a version for iPad? I want to play with these plugins on the go without carrying a notebook with me. iPad + Apogee + headphones all in the guitar bag sounds awesome for travel. I think there is a huge market opportunity here. I would buy these plugins for sure. Bias fx 2 with dual amp and 20 effects all active use about 40% of the CPU so I don’t think processing power is a limiting factor. Cheers

I've always wondered what pedal the distortion is based on. It's obviously a RAT-style circuit, but it doesn't sound like a typical RAT. I haven't found any info on Joe using RAT-style pedals either so. Maybe a Turbo RAT or You Dirty RAT?

Please do this kind of a video for Petrucci. Its your most expensive plugin and getting the lowest attention.
Thanks, I wrote to support for the update for this x version but it doesn’t work with my old version I download the installer for Mac and after running nothin changes and I cannot understand why the metronome it doesn’t appear too. Great video cheer’s.
The support team will surely respond to you, but make sure you're loading Archetype: Gojira X on your computer. The update does not replace the original plugin.

Has John stepped away from Andertons? I don't watch it much these days but I hope so... that Digital John segment was so cringe. Just seemed like they were taking the piss and he is actually a great guitarist. Great intro section here and good rundown of the software.
you use fl 500 l pedal boss , what do you connect it to ? what is your midi footswitch to the gojira plugun ?
You can get a midi to usb cable - plug it directly into your computer. Or plug a midi cable into your audio interface if it supports/has the inputs
@@brendenrodgers7821 the point is, FV500L does not have MIDI, it is literally a passive single potentometer volume/expression pedal. You need to plug it into something else and this is what the guy is asking about.

HELP! I’m using a Scarlett 2i2/ESP guitar with EMG active pickups. I have the input on the Scarlett turned down as low as it goes. But every distorted preset in Gojira X sounds so overly distorted and not tight at all in Reaper. Even with a tight gate it sounds messy and bad. I bought new cables, replaced pickup battery… tried everything I can think of and I still can’t get a decent sound. Anyone have tips? please 🙏
I’ve got the same problem as you and I also use the Scarlett 2i2 (1st gen) so I suppose it’s because of that.
@@MusiiCVideo I have a non Scarlett interface that I’ve tried too and I still have the same issue. I’m so frustrated. I don’t think it’s a Neural issue but nothing I’ve tried seems to help.
Have you tried lowering the input level from the plugin? or lower your pickups. One of those might help
@@Bob_Music I’ve tried the input as low as I can go, even got a DI box that can do an additional -15db. Still having this issue
@@Jt7166 got the inst/Hi-Z activated? The esp does this only on your interface? So no trouble with an amp or so? Tried lowering pickups? Sure the wiring of the pickups are correct? Could be tons of issues, so just throwing lots of options 😉

Pretty sure you just download the installer of the x one by clicking on the trial thing it should just validate your key with ilok if you already owned it since the first release
