    I bought this product and tried it. It has 3 major problems.
    1) does not go under the seats
    2) it doesn't vacuum regularly, it wanders around the room randomly and there is a lot of space left over.
    3) It works with incredible sound and vibration, I claim you will be shocked.
    I realized the value of my old much cheaper roidmi robot vacuum cleaner and continue with it.

    The audacity of Dyson to charge a premium price for suction and leave out the most important part of a robot vacuum which is for it to know where tf it’s going🙄

    Great to see an alternative to all other robots out there and in this case, from a manufacturer known for high quality products.
    They do seem to have some additional distance to cover though in order to really compete with the others.
    If the day will come when Dyson offers a robot with all the features we see in other products such as self-emptying, mopping functionality etc and of course improved software and smarter logic in the robots behavior, I have my credit card ready 👍

      @purple_scorp146 hi, there might be something wrong with your unit. Mine works pretty good. Did you have your roller brush attached, or did you use it without roller brush? Roller brush is very important for carpet agitation and debrie pick up.

  • @magic_claw

    Yeah… no self emptying is a deal breaker. I have been spoiled by the Roomba there. My next switch will likely be to a Roborock. Maybe once they have gotten a few iterations down.

    • @wetham8667
      @wetham8667 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm pretty sure the reason why they don't include self-empty bases is because self-empty bases use disposable bags and I don't think Dyson doesn't want to use disposable accessories.

    • @magic_claw
      @magic_claw ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wetham8667 I mean their purifier filters are “disposable”. They just haven’t figured it out yet. I’ll give it a look once they do. Right now, this isn’t of much use, especially for the price.

    • @purple_scorp146
      @purple_scorp146 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kaushiksharma8390 I see that as a positive, not a negative. I've had two upright Dysons and I love how easy they are to empty. This one looks easy to empty.
      By the way, I just returned an Ecovacs Deebot 10T Plus because it didn't suck up anything...it had a station where it was supposed to empty but, because it wasn't picking anything up, there was nothing to empty. The Deebot 10T Plus station has little disposable bags but they are costly.
      If you factor into the Dyson that you won't have any of those ongoing bag costs, it actually softens the price tag blow a bit.

    So if we compare this to say the upcoming roborock s8 maxv ultra it would be better than dyson's visnav in every aspect on a technical level except maybe airfiltration for instance the visnav has its motor rated at 65 Airwatts which translates into 3.3kPa where as roborock claims the s8 maxv has a 10kPa motor with a larger battery it also uses the more tried and tested lidar navigation approach instead of the vslam based navigation and thats not going into the fact that the s8 maxv comes with one of the most automonomous robo vacumn docks to date or the fact the s8 maxv mops with a unique approach to agitation and to it top off it costs $200 LESS (100 if using the plumbed version) than the visnav assuming roborock is true to their claims and its a reliable product this comparison is nothing short of night and day unless you're a hard-core dyson fan with money to spend

  • @colin2936

    I have tried the Dyson 360, Don't waste your money, 1: it does not empty itself, see all the dust goes everywhere, 2: does not mop. 3 gets lost very easily. The new Roborock is basically set and forget. People that recommend the Dyson 360 have a vested interest. so many TH-cam reviews but done by Dyson :) So happy with the Roborock

    Way to expensive for a robot vaccum that can't navigate properly. I wouldn't bet on it improving with software updates, you can see in the app that it can't map the space properly - which could be due to using inferior sensors than the competition.

    No LiDAR (it wanders around randomly)
    No Auto-empty Station (at this price point!!!)

      All my robot vacuums - into the dozens now - can find their way back in similar spots without hesitation. They all build this buffer as a suggestion but it’s not always practical. Dyson’s navigation is simply not good enough, especially when compared with top robot brands.

  • @HCG
    @HCG ปีที่แล้ว +3

    You’re going to ruin your Dyson by not following simple directions. You have to empty the bin immediately when the dustbin reaches the MAX line for the cyclonic filtration to work properly. Letting it fill to the top is a great way to clog the cyclones and cause unnecessary dirt to flow into the filter.

  • @darreny2433

    Dyson must be living in the cave. Robovac are so advance now and they dock what appears like using visual card instead of infrared. No obstacle laser and using primitive vslam and yet so thick. Probably good decoration.
    Must have copied from old Samsung powerbot.
