@@timothyzhuk2847 i had roombas and 5(!) roborocks. on all roborocks the lidar tower sooner or later but within a year for me went broke. my replacement s8 just 1 week after using got the first lidar error. besides that, my roombas are much better at avoiding stuff especially cabels. the roborocks need completely clean area, they cannot cope with anything lying around. the navigation is a lie. the camera systems just do fine. might not do so in darkness, but most of the time they just work fine. never had any navigational issues. they are a bit slower but who cares.
@@EverydayChris I agree, I can't get to like the trend of other companies where premium models are adding side features rather than improving the core product in a meaningful way. Had Dyson just added a self empty bin and maybe lidar navigation, this would be among if not the best model
do NOT wash the filter if you have a high level of calcium in your water. even when the filter dried completely the calcium will remain and clog the hepa filter and in this new robot you can not just remove the hepa filter and run the robot without it ...
Great review thanks. Red flags that put me off instantly: No LiDAR (it wanders around randomly) No Auto-empty Station (at this price point!!!) £1200 (UK) for very basic functionality is daylight robbery. All the above equates to No thank you Dyson.
2-3 more years and they will be there lol. This reminds me of my 60 dollar shark robot vacuum that bumps into everything lol Roborock is definitely up there in the Cadillac category of robot vacuums,.
This is my 10 year old daughter from Montreal Canada that writes to u! :) She is your biggest fan! She convinced us to get a Tesla after watching all your videos. Ty!
Come on, no one is wasting food like cereals, meaning if someone spills some dry cereals hand picking these pieces up is way better than using a robot vacuum. Fight the food waste, but leave only the dust to the robots.😊
i love my Dyson 360 house is spotless and it just does its thing, also goes over 20mm of steel
Everyday Chris I just stumbled on your channel its very entertaining and informative....Keep up the Great Work 👍🏽
They should have used a lidar instead of the camera system. 😢
why? lidar is crap

The “tung” sound after shutting off the vacuum is iconic from Dyson, my mom makes fun of it 😂😂
Id love to see a followup once in a while, i wonder if software updates can fix the navigation and battery.
No auto empty is a major deal breaker..
So far nothing.. yeah pretty bad but it DOES clean the carpet really well.

How well does it do for cleaning up blood in kill zones?

It would be interesting having another robot vacuum to compare the difference,
Yah sounds good
