I’ve been watching your channel for a long time because I moved up here to pnw from the military and have been trying to get into salmon fishing and have only caught one coho out of my 3 years thanks to your channel! Would you ever post a video on what setups to use like drifting, bobber and eggs, or twitching jigs based on the depth current and what not?? And run timings in the rivers for guys with no boats? Thanks for your awesome info!!
@@PNWBestLife I just watched that video right after I made the comment awesome info. Hopefully I’ll catch you on the puyallup this year! Do you have an idea of when the pinks will start running on the nisqually? Thanks for the responses back means a lot
@@PNWBestLife Nice video, would like to try down in area 9, I caught a nice pink yesterday, they just have not gone away, great silver in the hole yesterday but it's really slowed down, maybe the Skagit Coho are done, caught 3 kings a couple weeks ago, first time they ever got in the way while I am coho fishing.
Yeah, now's about that time all these runs are heading up the rivers! Many of the pinks are in the river now or staging. Coho are also very much heading up the local rivers@@steveanacorteswa3979

That’s awesome and thank you for your service! That’s a great idea for a video, I’m on it!
Also, I made a video titled “where to find salmon and steelhead”, that covers how to find run timings of all the main rivers we fish

Late August they should be in thick, but I’ve hooked them as early as 8/15
Thanks for the report. Been wondering when the Pinks would show off W. Whidbey. We'll have them in the Skagit in a week, to two.
You bet! There will be much more pinks in the next week!

Fished whidbey this weekend caught some pinks let's go.
Nice man! Only gonna get better!
That's why I keep a herring jig on a spinning rod free live bait in situ can't be beat.
I need to do that! Thanks for the tip!

Thats amazing man!
What depth and wire were you using at possesion?
120-250 ft depth and around 80-120 ft of wire
Nice video and trip. Shame that pinks will count against the quota.
I know, man, but some pink runs are weak, so the bonus pinks are only in the rivers with strong runs
Visiting the Puget Sound Area in early September. Can I contact you to ask about some options for charters?
