4:30 pour the whole water from steel cup into the ice jug then pour back to the steel cup when ever u want to drink it from the cup. the right way to do it.
You should run a bike trip company. The interactions and banter you have with Lawrence, Francis and Chris when you went to Sungod is epic. Would be an amazing trip
What a journey this has and will be for the three of you, memories for a lifetime! I have a to-do list, bike packing on there for a long as I can remember. For now I'll live vivaciously through the lens of your camera(s)! All the best to you, Francis and Lawrence! Keep it rolling!
I really love your frame color and layout. I have a 2016 ALR and would love to upgrade, but can't justify it. Maybe I can paint it and use the same label sticker layout.
Cameron highland only 1600m climb. You will come across Chocolate Factory at 1400m mark where the coffee and cakes are super. Actually not 18km it’s 45km in length. Good luck guys 👍
0:52 literally spat my tea out! And Lawrence laughing in the background too! 🤣 And how good did it feel to get those panniers off and ride 'naked' for a bit?
Ouch on the slo-mo fall ... nice to know that it happens to everyone 😅 Good luck on your day climbing! That elevation on fully loaded bikes will be epic 💪
Great vlog Ben, love that Trek colourway, how you finding the alloy frame? Also love to know your thoughts on the Trekker Sungods you got, I bought some and think they don’t go dark enough in direct sunlight? Great interaction with Lawrence and Francis as always
riding in Malaysia is alway quite challenging, road conditions are ok most of it not the worst in south east asia. If you are riding in a 2~3 lanes main road along the city sometime it is quite insane as you will got trap in between the lanes when vechicles passing from both left and right lanes traveling at very high speed especially those 10~14 wheels cargo truck passing you at 80~90km/h. If you are riding along the palm oil plantation road, the single lane road traffic condition also not bicycle friendly as the road is only the width of a truck. The lane width not allow the truck to by pass cyclist if the opposite lane are busy, you will be horn and forces to the side to avoid collision. It is fine and ok to ride during weekend as most of the roads having less traffic
@@BrianRPaterson doesn't mean drive on the correct side of the road = safe , not all drivers are equal. Malaysia is not the best also not the worst most of drivers are ok it just the road structure are not cyclist friendly, despite Malaysia have plenty of road space
@@tovinpoh I was being sarcastic. The guys are from the UK, so they've got one less thing to worry about. I'm also from the UK, but live in Hong Kong, so I ride/drive on the left. Whenever I'm in Europe, remembering to drive on the "wrong" side feels like a full time job! Cheers
bro had the most cinematic unclipping fall ever! lucky it was a soft one
Killer trip and coverage.
Nice climb! What a ride!
It sure is!
Loving this trip x
You three mates reminds of Top Gear, the cycling version..
Btw how many Trek tshirts do you have? 😂😂
Lawrence reminds me of the character Cameron (played by Alan Ruck) in the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”

Here from Cade, new sub 👍
I am switching up the order in which I watch the three of you. Each has a slightly different perspective.
Graceful unclipping ... 😅
6:16 😂 wooah wooah 😂

That temple was pretty cool

5:24 😂 got them
I like those shoes Ben
what are they?
This bike packing trip got me feeling a bit wagwan
Day before a bucket list ride abroad I bent my hanger when I failed to unclip.
Was a fun evening in an unlit carpark fitting a new one.
A true friend laughs first when you fall. Then asks “are you okay?”
Enjoy the climb up Cameron’s tho!
Welcome to Malaysia guys. Now is very hot weather and we Malaysian also cant stand the heat cycling outside. Anyway enjoy your touring and stay safe
thank you for the video Ben👍
Big up Nathan T
Awesome guys ✌love your vids Benjamin 👍
Start early tmr! You’ll be fine Cameron is abit cooling in the morning if u get there early! :)
Loving the travel bloggings Ben
Erg leuk om jullie te volgen op het avontuur die jullie beleven, SUPER

Must be nice being able to explore without the weight of the bags, also better if you want a sit down.
Love this trip and great vids Ben
as a malaysian myself i've never attempted the cameron highland climb myself, so excited to see you guys doing it!!!
Loving the videos. It seems you and Francis are having a really good time.

"some" coffee and "some" cake!?, surely its "a little bit" of coffee and "a little bit" of cake. Much catchier :)
Definitely respect the coffee situation 😊
~ 2:25 ⏳well, at least Lawrence is staying "on brand" 🤔
Good to see another rider fall over with their bike. I thought i was the only one who does that. Another top video. Cheers Ben.

You are making me feel about a ride I have coming up in June in Florida. 600 miles over 10 days. Not ideal time of year with heat.

Love how you waved at the statue. Gorgeous scenery today. Ride safe.

What an epic ride so far. Loving those shoes too!! What are they?

Only place to eat on the big climb is the cafe in the cheesy Hobbitoon village, but you must pay entry to get access 😂
Malaysia is an awesome country, but that heat looks deeply uncomfortable.
1:18 hi, you can try cracking an egg on those rails. You’ll have some sunny side eggs in no time 🍳
Great series so far! What's the song that plays at the end of the video?

Should have cleats set to Jimmy tension.
I'm curious without bike packing weight, amount of watts to get 27mph or even 30mph so I get idea in time when do build mine
Which Fizik saddle are you riding on?
What’s shoes you wearing?
Quoc
what bike lock do you use while bikepacking?
Hi, Hiplok
Great choice.
Pronounced 'e' poh
Bikelocks aint gonna work in msia 😂
The "I" in Ipoh is pronounced like the alphabet E, as in "Ee-poh".
