Lady Luck, without going into a lot of detail about the song we can come to the same conclusion and know if she ever records this again after she is officially marketed to the world this version of the song will be a colossal global hit and hit # 1 on all the charts.
Of everything that #AngelinaJordan has produced in her young career this is by far my favorite. And although with her mother's guidance she chose not to release it at age 10 here she shines above every songstress in the industry today.
A vocal masterpiece worthy of being a #1 hit but wasn't meant to be. How much different would Angelina's life be if this performance had been officially released around her 11 birthday? We will never know.
But her family, wisely, didn't want this to happen ...
Her life is already wildly different than all other ten year olds.
This is one of the most breath taking and incredible performances by ten year old Angelina in existence and there are several outstanding performances she produced at this age.

I agree with all you said. Even after listening to it hundreds of times, I am still in awe. Show me ANY other 10 year old that could make you think you were listening to, at the very least, a young lady, and one that could sing it with so much emotion that she could make you feel she lived through it. I'm 67 and I am constantly amazed by Angelina.

This is one of her best performances (IMO)and she was still only 10 years old here! She actually recorded this before the original artist did. There are a lot of explanations and rumors about this song The reality is we may never know the whole story. The original artist "Baby Fuzz" aka Brandon Lowery, aka Sterling Fox" wrote the song and had been shopping it around to various artists to record, however no one was interested. Angelina was working with writer/producers Ronny Janssen and Aksel Carlson who made the music on this song for Baby Fuzz. Andy Schnell put out a very detailed comment about all of this on Schnell Jordans channel when she did a reaction to this song. At any rate, thank god someone leaked this recording out of the studio. This fan made video was done quite well in putting together the collage of photos and clips.
Agreed that this is one of the Angelina's best performances even at 10 years old. There's no question if the song had not been leaked and was released normally, this would have been a massive hit and could still be.
So happy to see someone give the details of this as they are known and not pushing the rumor that was started as to why it wasn't released. 👏👏👍
Even though much seems confusing about this recording, noone of the involved want it blocked.
Just one correction, Jeff. Ronny Janssen and Aksel Carlson are not Stargate. Stargate is Mikkel Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen, also Norwegians. Janssen and Carlson are independent songwriters and producers, co-writing this song together with Amundsen, all Norwegians as well.

Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz) wrote the song with cowriters Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen in 2016. Due to lack of interest in this song, Brandon recorded and released the song himself in 2018. The three cowriters are considered to be the initiators of the demo recording, the three are also the cowriters of Angelina's original "Shield". According to Brandon Lowry on his YT channel, he has never had contact with Angelina or her team. He only heard Angelina's version on YT in 2018 and was thrilled. Brandon Lowry complained that he was attacked and insulted because of the rumors. I suspect that this is why the comment function was deactivated. I guess you have to have good relationships with the studio in order to be able to publish this high quality demo recording on YT. Also strange is the date of the release of the two versions on YT, Angelina's version 11/12/2018, Brandon Lowry version 12/19/2018. Officially, there is no information from Angelina or her team about who or why the song wasn't released with Angelina. 💯 *AJ* 💯

Yes, leaked, it was originally a Baby Fuz song. But her mother believed it wandered to close, lyrical, to talking about suicide so it was never officially released. I personally thank the Leaker every time I hear it.

If you haven't heard her sing recorded live just her and a guitar singing, Stay, it is nit to be missed. By the way she wretes all the arrangements for her covers. She also speaks several languages and plays a number of instruments piano being one. She has an open ended exclusive record contract with l think A and M giving her rights to all her masters and no set schedule for recording its at her pace.
Funny you should say about people trying to imitate her? I've already started to see that coming up in my Utube feed. Watching her progression in music is getting quite fascinating. And she is still vocally experimenting. I listen to alot of her tic toks, & I can hear her experimenting with sounds.

10 was a good year for Angelina, I believed she gained full control of her child voice then. Anything she sung that year she slayed, resurrected it, then slayed twice more. Her music some day will change the world and music for the better.

Angelina sings that "I go down to the river..." refrain like a rock star but the rest of the song with soul songstress. You would this was an original song she wrote, but it isn't. However, if you wanna hear an amazing original Angelina wrote and dedicated to her family listen to "Shield" (the live version) she sang on a Norwegian talk show. She also published a book in Norway of the same title when she was just a kid, forget the age. It's A-mazing!
