    Rupert Spira makes the case for embracing one unique authority: the absolute knowledge of our own being. It is the only thing that all people have in common, the source of the peace and fulfillment for which all people long. For this reason, it is the only knowledge there is that could serve as a foundation for world peace,

    Rupert is on fire in this talk, for me it’s him at his best: heartfelt, poetic, profound and practical. This talk should be part of the standard curriculum in schools and played at the UN.

    This is the definitive essential lecture on the nature of existence
    Some months ago when I was in that place of lucid dreaming and in that state of being ness I asked the question Who Are You really ?!! And I got an answer ..it was as if a loud ringing voice rang throughout my being and. I felt/heard the words
    “Subjective Elemental knowability” I immediately came fully awake and wrote this phrase down it means to me that the essential “i AM” has that quality of being capable of being known or experienced in its most elemental nature by it self...It is the nearest definition I can apply and probably applies a conceptual essence. can Anyone elaborate. Unconditional love and deepest gratitude to Rupert for this wonderful lecture

    after years of watching Rupert's content and hearing so much of what he has to say, I think that all of what he goes in to in this video perfectly sums up and strings together the core concepts in the majority of his talks / Q&A sessions. Absolutely life changing as always

    Excellent talk on the truth of our societies today. Should be a requirement for all elected members in most governments! Rupert has the art of communication that makes his teachings imbibe in the listener's system. Brings back memories of the old days listeneing to Alan Watts-- and it is more than just the accent!

  • @robbyr9286

    This has echoes of the traditional Western ideal of the sovereign individual as the basis of social cohesion. Resonates with some of the things Jordan B. Peterson says.

  • @earoable
    @earoable 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The great existence, impersonal being, the void is already in balance. From the smallest to the biggest. It doesn't need anything to be in peace and happiness from the human. The conflicts and problems in the world are man-made. So, to speak about that everybody, every institution and everybody else need more understanding about the Self is only a personal view. In reality you can't do anything to change the course of the existence. The only thing we can do is to accept everything as it is and be effortless.

    • @johnmiller7453
      @johnmiller7453 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gee I thought I read somewhere that nature was red in tooth and claw. Or maybe animals don't actually suffer when they are being shredded and slowly consumed outside of human interference. Peace and happiness? The problems in the world are not all man made unless you agree with Mother Natures ways of slaughtering everything it creates.

    • @mikefoster5277
      @mikefoster5277 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I suppose he would argue that because the subject itself is ultimately unchanging, so the delivery of his message naturally doesn't/can't change much either. I do know what you mean though - there is a certain stiffness, rigidity and repetitiveness to proceedings which, as you suggest, can start to detract after a while from the importance of what is being shared. I guess the only answer, in terms of livening things up, would be to somehow apply the teaching to current, more immediate and relevant examples of how this relates and applies in everyday life - ie. to make the whole thing more personal, conversational and interactive in nature. But then, to be fair, that just might not be Rupert's style.

    Constantly contradicting himself. First he describes the self as void of qualities - which is a contradiction in terms, then goes on to talk about the qualities of this self, which has no qualities. Then he describes this as an eye - Do people not listen? Or this is top tier satire and I wasn't in on the joke, and the audiences scilence was to make the next nodding man the punchline.
