There are so many channels out there with no idea how to sew properly, all doing half-arsed work & teaching others to copy their dodgy methods. You stand out from the crowd. That fabric design looks great on you, the wrist bows are a bit OTT for me, but I like the dress a lot.

great directions on pattern and making- made this today in an Ankara fabric and it came out great. Still struggling with the perfect armhole depth but it looks great
Love the pattern of the fabrics! I’m using this tutorial to help me figure out an idea i had for doll clothes. I love using doll scale projects to use up scraps and experiment with things i might not want to wear myself, but still enjoy! Plus working around the scale is always fun :D
I'm watching this tutorial video again, to know the fabrics to get to make the dress and I noticed how strategically you choose your fabrics and even to the shoe you wore on the finished garment. Beautiful!😢😊😅
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and this project. I'm going to make my firts body block pattern. Next I will follow this video and sew my own dress. If my farbic is not stretch should I make some ease to my body block pattern?
i have a little tool that punctures a 2mm wide circle through the paper and it makes it much easier to mark the darts bc you just need to go with the chalk over the pattern paper and when you take it off the points will be there.
Great job! I see that you adjusted the bodice from the way you originally drafted it. Either way it looks great. I wonder what the outcome would be if it were done in knit. Are you up to the challenge?
