This video was helpful, I will surely try this this side, the point of inserting the belts got me confused, I had to rewatch and understand. Thanks a lot I have got the details
You are just amazing, thank you! This is the 2nd dress I tried of yours and it has worked out beautifully. I am just really stuck on how to attach the belt, I couldn't tell from the video - could you please explain that again? Thank you !
Hiya Joella! Thank you so much for your kind words. You’re absolutely amazing. To attach the belts, you want to attach them in between the front piece & front facing so that it extends on the right side. There will be a gap or hole that’s about 2” in one side. I hope this helps Thank you & stay awesome! ❤️
This is a very nice tutorial, so simple and easy to understand. I'm a new TH-camr who will also love to make sewing tutorials. I really admire your delivery. Well done
Hi Kate, Good morning & thank you for your kind words ❤️ Yes I offer online training Kindly email SewUniquebyAdunni@gmail.com to get the training outline, cost and all Thank you🙏🏾
Hi Camila! I recommend each one being about 2x your waist measurement. So if your waist is 32” then each belt should be about 64”. I hope this helps ❤️
Hi Onyinye, That would largely depend on you as different sizes would have to come into play & you also want to determine how much you want to cover up or expose your leg but I recommend you cut at 3/4 inches from the Centre. I hope you understand? Let me know if you need further clarification ❤️❤️ Thank you so much
Thank you so much ma’am. Pattern drafting allows you to be more accurate with garment production, it gives room for experimenting with different style lines and styles. Pattern drafting allows you have a reference and most importantly it has a technique and formulas that allow you draft your perfect body measurement on paper. (Bespoke tailoring)
Okay ma So are you saying if you were to use pattern to make this wrap dress Ques 1 : its going to be entirely different? And 2. If its pattern you wouldn't have added allowance.. But I saw one of your video you added allowance to the pattern for only waist then when you were cutting it out you added 1 inches to the dress again
Hi Phoebe. Just to be sure I understand your question, you want a long length wrap dress with the pencil shape right? If that’s the case You want to follow this procedure but extend it from the knee point to the desired length. Above the knee point you can take in 1 inch at the sides to give it the pegged effect before extending the lines. I hope this makes sense ❤️❤️❤️
@@SewUnique_ng yes ma I understand thank you I wish I can sew u d picture of the dress am talking about d up part of the dress is wrap dress but d down part is the one giving me issue bcos d front part of the down side of d Dress had opening at the front dats y am kindof confused on how to go about it
I could but I’m a pattern drafter so I’ll need people to understand the basic block properly. I’ll definitely consider it. Thank you so much for the suggestion❤️
Hey! Welcome to the sewing community... to find a quarter of your hip measurement; divide your hip measurement by 4. Example; if your hip is 40” then a quarter of your hip measurement is 10”. Let me know if it helps ❤️
I don't understand what you did at the shoulder measurement, did you mark out the full length first, then the half length ? It's kinda difficult to understand how you ended up with the neck measurement
Oh no, you’re going to have to watch it again. It’s as clear as can be given the circumstances. so please take your time, watch it over & over at your own pace. I’m certain you’ll get it eventually.

Hey. Thank you for this tutorial. I understand that this is a freehand on paper but I'd like to ask if this particular method gives fit?
Hello❤️! Gives fit? I’m not sure what you mean, I did insert a video of how it sits on her. It’s a dartless dress but I think it fits nicely
Alright. I was really trying to look for a dart less bodice that is no gaping and has a nice fit I'll try this out. Thank you for replying!❤
Omg you are so talented. This is beautiful. It seems hard to make tho. Lol. We can imitate the process but we cant imitate the creativity hehe.

Hi, I'm new to sewing. How do I find my quarter measurements for my waist hips, etc ? Is it my size divided by .25?
