Hi hunny , I have watched so many pattern draughtiness videos and taken classes but I have just watched this one and found it so easy to follow it’s made me want to make my oun patterns , thank you so much you are a very skilled educator 👩🏫
I greatly love you and Diane Diezel. You too make me love sewing more. Could you please make a tutorial discussing armholes and how they can be readjusted depending on fabric choice and whether it will carry sleeves or not? I really need it
What a fab jumpsuit! I always learn so much from your videos, sometimes it's simple things that make me think, "how did I not know that?"This time it was the tidbit on lengthening your front pattern piece if you add a dart. Anyway, thank you for sharing your expertise. Your videos are awesome!:)
Love this, l finally learnt how to return measurements taking from side dart. Plz sister do a tutorial on salwar trouser normally worn by Indian ladies.
Thank you very much for this tutorial ! It’s going to be super helpful I know it ! 😊 But could you also show us how to make a straight pinafore dress ? Cause I’ve been wanting one since forever but I don’t fit in most of mainstream clothes 😫
Really love the fall of the trousers in this design.....& decided to make one high waist pant for my wife. Messed up on the back block, maybe depending on my wife’s body shape. So am gonna try again with the figures from your trouser tutorials. Fingers crossed.
The darts you make mean to fold the material and for what reasons, I am a beginner. Thank you. Especially on the bodice is it giving the bust area room.
The darts are added to get rid of excesses around parts of the body, especially because we have curves around the bust, waist and hips. The darts on the bodice are there to remove the excess measurements under the bust, around the waist and above the hips. I hope this helps
Wow!!!Honestly Kim,you're the best.Just yesterday, someone sent me that very image, that she would love to to make it.I will be sharing this tutorial with her.God bless you always....😍😘😁😊
Nice well there, well done. Please i have a question. What if i forgot to measure the thigh of my client, how do i go about it without having to go measure my client again (in cases where my client is out of the country and must be ready before she returns). Thanks
If you know your client's trouser size (u.k., u.s. e.t.c) then you can search online for standard trouser measurements online for women to find the range for your client's size.
First thing am doing is subscribing to your channel, secondly spread the word round, then watch this tutorial again. I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you so much

Thanks babes I've been searching for this particular pattern. Thanks for sharing I've learnt another from your tutorials. Please can you do a tutorial on mermaid dress
I don’t have a cape outfit yet, but it’s easy to adapt the cape blazer pattern to a dress. Simply cut the front on a fold instead of two separate pieces
Thanks Chelsea. Got the pattern paper on Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/Royal-Sovereign-Natural-Tracing-Paper-White/dp/B000TK5RB8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1527668042&sr=8-1&keywords=pattern+paper+roll

Hey guys! Hope you're having a great weekend? This pattern tutorial was inspired by this sassy Jumpsuit I found on Pinterest. The cut & fit of the original jumpsuit design made me fall in love with it. To add edge, I modified the neckline from a simple round neck to an asymmetric one. Sewing tutorial coming soon ^.^
Kim Dave, hello. Before I start, let me begin by saying thank you for all your tutorials and help when I'm in need. For awhile now, I've been making my clothes. I am knowledgeable when it comes to making patterns, but there's alot of time that has been wasted as well. I would like some assistance on a few jumpsuits that I will use interchangeably. If possible, send me a link where I can show you 2 basic jumpsuits that I would like you to go thru step by step in making them (like your other tutorials). I just want to complete them correctly. Thank you again, Brinna Jones.
Kim Dave am new on your TH-cam channel I love your work .pls is there any way I could chat you up mayb on Instagram because I have a few questions concerning some dresses I would want to learn how to sew

I like to be able to know that someone can follow the tutorials at their own pace and make the garment for themselves.
You have inspired me to go back to pattern making and sewing after 15 years. Thank you for your passion

How has this helped when you are only transferring already drafted pattern? Rubbish
So much time is spent on making the pattern 🤨
Thank you
