Hi Cora Ann! Thanks so much, I'm very happy to have you follow my journey. These are moisture resistant MDF panels. I'd recommend plywood, 5mm thick

Plywood would be even better. I suggest 5mm. You can even get that cut to size in your local hardware store.

Hello..I enjoy watching you paint but..why can I not understand your random covering up previous layers? Each of these boards I preferred the iniitial colours and brush strokes...guessing I'll never be an artist!!

Hi Linda! Adding lots of layers adds more interest to my paintings. Sometimes even a small mark I really like is holding me back from creating a great piece overall, and I have to cover it up. And of course it's so subjective what we like, that's why it's so challenging watching other artists paint over things we like.
