Hello Turner. A lot of work session on this painting ! I find that from the 1st sesion, it was already very beautiful. At the end, it will be perfect as all your paintings. Many thanks
It's good to see I'm not the only one who fights with a painting up until the very end. Glad you kept that part in and explained how you needed to take a break from it.
Hello, I love painting a lot and especially the one you practice. I would like to be able to paint in your style but I don’t dare. I have some amateur attempts but I love your style, I will try to understand all your movements and follow all your presentations from TH-cam.
Yeah indeed Cézanne ... (Whenever I hear thát name, I'm véry 'awake' , só attentive and 'mucho loco-loco' / something like that) And indeed, this radiant airy quality, these suggestive colours stripped down to their basic essentials, this feeling of deep connection/love of nature and ultimate concentration and connection/feeling ... it's all there ! I mean, after barely eleven to fifteen minutes: magic ! I mean, you opened a door for me man ! Thanks and take care TV Such interesting work ...
Really enjoy your approach- kept expecting to see more warmth in those upper trees, but have noticed you have a propensity toward cooler greens on your palette.
Personally, I would leave it alone. It’s an excellent pseudo- abstract style. You’re very good at gestural paintings and this one, by far is your best one. 👏👏👏 Btway, leave the white canvas showing as is.
@@turnervinson I have a major in iconography . The parts of the canvas that have not been touched are pauses, ( Greek root word) for what is to be . Like your landscape , your soul is still in the process of becoming . You are timid /shy but have sooo much to say. Your brush is your pen. Keep on painting and don’t go back to correcting too much. I hope you didn’t mind me being so straightforward.. Love your work. Looking forward to your next one.
Foreground trees is not the place to be looking. The lightness and blueness of those clean greens in upper half of the painting give the impression that it is a sunny fall day, despite the grey sky. Weird how colours change hue depending on what you place next to them.
Another comment. Your start of the plein air was the true essence of the place you were painting. Many times when taking then to the studio can undermine the plein air process. Being a plein air painter, I rarely take a piece into the studio and finish it from a reference image. Trust what you do on location. Even if you have to revisit the site. I think you will be more satisfied with the outcome.
I do actually spend multiple sessions on location. I spent two sessions on location with this piece. But I personally wasn’t happy with it. And when I went back to the location all of the leaves were off the trees. So I chose to work on it further in the studio. I love working on location, but also don’t want to be limited to it if need be.
@@turnervinson I understand the frustration you are feeling about this painting. Like you said, set it aside for awhile, then take another look. Maybe something will come. Anyway, to phrase the great late Charles Movalli, "paint what the painting needs". Keep swinging that mighty brush in your bold approach. Amazing work.
Already it’s in my top 5 faves of your talent✔️
Extraordinary!
The detail within the detail is magic.
That scratching sound, giving texture, I’d love to touch.
Thank you 👍
Hey Turner, You've helped me so much with my painting. I enjoy your videos and watching your painting process. Thank you!
And here again I have seen a very good process.
Ok vinson, i identify a lot with your style. Congratulations!
hey, thanks a lot
Amazing to watch the continuing mass of colour come together to form the scene, brilliant.
thank you, Glad you enjoyed it

Those are very colorful trees ! Keep up good work I like your style of painting very colorful.
Beautiful!!!
I like having the photo of the scene in the corner, it helps to see what is happening in the painting.

Started of like Cezanne - was hoping you would stop at the 15 minute mark. Loving all the fall colours.

Loved watching you choose colors and shadows
Your painting has more depth to it then the picture! Very beautiful-as usual!
Me gusta mucho tu forma de pintar. La pincelada suelta y la mezcla de colores. He visto varias obras tuyas y continuare. Chile.
Some great painting there. The set you show really work well as a series. Expressive but which integrates the feel and sense of place. Thank you
working on a single tree painting of a cottonwood harder than I thought !
👍🏻
I love your brush work !
Thank you!
Always amazing!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Super Bravo Turner
THIS‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
The light colors come out nice. I'm wondering if the dark tree in right foreground could be darker to make the colors pop!
Yeah, that could work, thanks!

Enjoyed this. Yep. Just take a break. It will speak to you after a time. Take care, Turner.
Thanks
Love it Turner! I noticed you did not use an underdrawing/sketch on this one. It seems to me like it helped the unity of the painting and its dynamism
I agree
You are a wonderful painter.
Thank you very much!
Eres el mejor
🙏
Ini seperti jaman impresionisme. Sangat menyenangkan.
